Ashley Biden , a 30-year-old social worker, and Krein, a physician based in Philadelphia, have been dating for more than a year, according to reports. A physician specializing in Otalaryngology and Facial and Reconstructive Surgery, Krein popped the question to the love of his life in September. She is the only child of Vice President Biden and his wife Jill. His two older sons, Beau and Robert, were born to his first wife, Neilia, who passed away. Congratulations to the whole family!

The sixth week of Dancing With the Stars’ 13th season saw some famous faces in the crowd, some fancy footwork and a harsh exchange between Maks and Len. J.R. Martinez and Ricki Lake again stole the show, with sky-high scores that, while deserved, almost seem engineered to give them a buffer against fan voting. Not that Ricki or J.R. didn’t earn their 29s or don’t have major fan support as it is. But it’s like the judges are taking no chances rewarding the high-flying pair. Â Ricki Lake has shown she can move it like no other, and J.R. Martinez’s quickstep to the intro music from Chicago was probably the best routine of the night. That doesn’t mean others didn’t get slighted. Hope Solo’s rumba to “Seasons of Love” from Rent was panned by the judges, particularly Len, who called it her “worst dance” and drew an angry rebuke. After Len noted that the audience applauds the routines, but he’s been in the business for 50 years, Maks suggested that maybe it was “time to get out.” “With all due respect, this is my show, I help make it what it is, I love every aspect of it,” Chmerkovskiy said backstage, not backing down for one second. “I love every professional that’s ever been here and I love every celebrity who puts effort into it every week. Having said that, I’m a little tired that we’re being judged, some on effort and some being picked on [for] heel leads.” Well, that’s some food for thought isn’t it? Earning the third highest score of the night, surprisingly, was Nancy Grace, whose foxtrot to Spamalot’s “Always Look on the Bright Side of Life” was a hit. A couple of fan favorites, Rob Kardashian and David Arquette, couldn’t quite match Nance despite the star power they had in the audience cheering them. David got to exercise his inner geeky prom king with a quickstep to “We Go Together” from Grease, to the delight of daughter Coco, but not the judges. He did score a respectable 23, besting Rob by a point. Kim Kardashian , Kris Humphries, Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian would’ve scored him higher. “Give him a 9!” Khloe encouraged from the sidelines after Rob’s Broadway week cha-cha to “Walk Like a Man.” “Dream on, sweetheart,” retorted Len. According to Goodman, at his cantankerous best last night, Rob’s dance managed to have good timing but no rhythm. Sounds contradictory, but oh well. In the bottom tier, Chaz Bono gave what we thought was a decent effort, but the judges did not agree. At 19 points, he’s on the chopping block again. “Not much to say, is there?” Chaz said. “I understand, I’ve been there,” replied Brooke Burke Charvet, who won the whole thing and totally never has. It’s really not looking good for newlyweds Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries . He’s been spotted partying a lot without her… but with other broads — and she’s making plans to go back to L.A. and plotting the holiday season without him. The latest reports from Life & Style magazine detail some serious warning signs that their marriage is headed toward Divorceville: Just two months into their marriage, sources close to newlyweds Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries reveal to Life & Style that the couple may already be headed for a split. Kim and Kris, who have known each other for less than a year, are living completely separate lives. While Kim was heading back from a six-day work trip in the United Arab Emirates, Kris was out partying at three different NYC hot spots including Lavo and Avenue. Even more shocking, after leaving Avenue, he barreled into 1Oak in the early-morning hours hand in hand with a mystery blonde (whom an insider says is a friend of Kris’ sister, Kaela). And instead of greeting his wife at the airport with a bouquet of flowers, Kris instead went to lunch with pals at NYC lounge PS 450. Meanwhile, Kim is not making many sacrifices for married life, either. Since returning from the couple’s quickie honeymoon, the reality star has been working nonstop. In fact, according to an insider, her recent visit to Dubai earned her a $1 million paycheck. “Tweeting about brands, such as Millions of Milkshakes, takes in another $25,000,” the insider tells Life & Style. And Kris may be pushing Kim even further away. A source on set reveals to Life & Style that a big story line for the upcoming second season of Kourtney & Kim Take New York is about Kris detesting Kim’s best friend, Jonathan Cheban: “Kris says on camera, ‘You have to choose him or me.’” Jonathan admits that he misses his one-on-one time with his best friend. “They’re kind of annoying [together],” Jonathan joked to Life & Style at the Angel Ball in NYC on Oct. 17. “I like them separately; I like Kim on my own time.” And he may be getting more of that one-on-one time soon. Kim reveals that she’s not in any rush to settle down in one place. “I don’t think we’ve even thought about that yet,” Kim told Life & Style on Oct. 17. Instead, after wrapping up the taping of Kourtney & Kim Take New York, she’ll be heading back home to LA. “I’m kind of homesick,” Kim says, “so I need to go back to LA for a little bit.” A production insider tells Life & Style, “Kim’s mapping out 2012, including holidays, and Kris isn’t a part of it. Any itineraries for the future don’t include Kris very much. That’s not a good sign.” She at least slowed her career down a lil bit for Reggie — why not for Kris? Damn Kimmy Cakes… Just use him and lose him, huh?
As we know, the winner of Dancing With the Stars will be the man or woman to combines quality moves on the parquet with a fan base that calls and texts in droves. Scores do count for half the dancers’ aggregate scores each week, but when they differ by, say, 1-4 points, that leaves plenty of wiggle room for fans to close the gap. On last night’s Dancing With the Stars results show, Carson Kressley was sent home after posting the lowest scores Monday. But it won’t always be that predictable. We’ve already seen a pair of surprise ousters in Chynna Phillips and most of all Kristin Cavallari . Rob Kardashian has been undeservedly in the bottom three twice. Is Rob at risk of meeting the same fate as K-Cavs, or is he winning over fans as well as the judges? How much longer can Chaz Bono and his two left feet last? As of right now, it looks like Ricki Lake and J.R. Martinez are on a collision course for the finals, but anything can happen.
