Court documents reveal that Odom agrees with Khloe Kardashian’s citing of “irreconcilable difference” as the reason for the breakdown of their marriage. It’s also been revealed that Odom requested that a judge “deny spousal support” to Kardashian. When Rob Kardashian proposed to Blac Chyna, fans were shocked – but not nearly as stunned as his family. If you recall the fateful moment back in April, Chyna showed off her engagement ring on Instagram and the world awaited a reaction from Rob's mom and sisters. But the reaction never came, and many fans felt the Kardashian-Jenner clan was rudely snubbing their brother on his happy news because they didn't approve of his wife-to-be. Now, fans get to re-live the engagement drama on Keeping Up With the Kardashians , and last week we learned that the family, who at the time were on vacation in Vail, were disappointed to learn of Rob's engagement through social media rather than his own mouth. And truthfully, you can't really blame them. In the clip below, we see how Rob finally came clean and talked to his sisters Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian about his proposal. “It happened, like, spontaneously, so that's why you guys weren't in the loop,” he explains. “'Cause I was gonna do this regardless, I just didn't know when, and it just ended up happening.” So… he was just carrying the ring around on his person and suddenly felt the urge to pop the question in front of Chyna's entire family? Hmm. Kim tells her brother that it just would've been nice to get a quick text to notify them, because they were inundated with calls from friends and felt dumb not knowing what to tell them. Rob counters by telling his sisters that if they were really concerned, they would've contacted him directly. “It's a two-way street, you guys could easily have picked up the phone and called me,” he said. “No, I'm not gonna talk to you guys when you guys are in a room with Tyga on a ski trip.” In case you don't know the back story, Kylie Jenner's boyfriend Tyga is the baby daddy and ex-fiance of Chyna and had joined the family on their ski vacation in Vail. Rob argues that he's happy with Chyna, then Kourtney Kardashian jumps in and says something that seems to make him get it. “Of course we would be happy for you, but we're allowed to be hurt that you didn't tell us, but you're allowed to do it in your own way,” she says. And because this “reality” show has to conclude with the Kards ultimately supporting each other, they all make nice and Rob apologizes in the end. But wait! It’s been a tough stretch for Lamar Odom, but might the beleaguered former athlete find solace and comfort with some familiar faces? According to insiders, Khloe is filing for divorce from the former NBA star, but he may still be welcomed back into the Kardashian fold: In Rob and Blac Chyna’s guest bedroom! Odom is reportedly beyond “furious” with his estranged wife Khloe, for what he’s describing as a string of broken promises about reconciliation. He’s always been tight with Rob, though. One can understand why recurring reports that Lamar Odom is back on crack (among other things) permanently shook Khloe’s trust. Khloe and Rob have been estranged themselves, of course, for a number of reasons – not the least of which is his romance with Blac. So perhaps it’s not surprising that he would swoop in to save Lamar. Rob, after all, “knows what it’s like” to be at “rock bottom,” a source says. “[He] doesn’t want Lamar to get there. Rob has secretly seen [Lamar] several times [and] has begged Lamar to come and live with him.” Will the NBA champ accept that offer? According to their insider, “Lamar refused, saying he doesn’t want to burden Rob and Chyna,” given that the engaged couple is expecting. Rob thinks that’s just a lame excuse. Homeless Teen Graduates Early With Full Scholarship While a lot of ADULTS would be held back by a devastatingly unfortunate circumstance like homelessness , one DC teenager let it serve as the fuel to push her into academic success — all while holding down a 25-hour per week job and participating in extracurricular activities. Via MailOnline : A homeless Washington teenager managed to graduate high school two years early despite working 25 hours a week winning herself a full scholarship to college. Destyni Tyree was living in the DC Central homeless shelter in Washington DC along with 243 other families when the then 14-year-old’s enrolled into Roosevelt S.T.A.Y. High School. She had been forced out of previous schools when her mother lost her job and had to hand over the keys of the family home because they were no longer able to afford the rent. Within two years, Destyni was able to dramatically turn around her life by applying herself in school. She was appointed captain of the school’s cheerleading squad, earned a 4.0 grade point average, and was voted prom queen. She also secured a full scholarship to Potomac State College of West University University that begins in August. The student managed this despite working for 25 hours a week in an ice cream store. “Quite frankly, I’m just ready to go and live life. I know there’s a better life out there for me. It gets better. If you work hard enough, if you have that drive, if you have that motivation, it gets a lot better. I just time managed. I just wake up and do what I gotta do.” NICE! Congrats to this young girl.
