It’s been a rough summer for Tom Brady. Sure, he still looks like he stepped out of the pages of GQ to win four Super Bowls and marry one of the world’s most famous models, but Tom Terrific has been on the receiving end of some negative press lately, and not just on Richard Sherman fansites. Obviously, most of the unwanted attention has focused on the NFL’s insistence on upholding Brady’s suspension stemming from last season’s Deflategate incident, but there have been scandalous headlines devoted to Tom’s personal life, as well. Most of tabloid drama has centered around rumors of Brady and Gisele Bundchen getting divorced . Sources say Tom has been unusually testy in the wake of Deflategate, and he’s beginning to try Gisele’s patience. Add to that the revelation that Brady hung out with Christine Ouzounian  (aka, Ben Affleck’s mistress) and it starts to look like Tom’s been doing more cheating than Bill Belichick at bingo for the blind. Several insiders have claimed that all the tension is getting to the A-list couple, and now, Us Weekly is reporting that Gisele has contacted a divorce attorney: “Tom’s become very nasty and irritable and started acting out on her,” says an insider. As for Gisele’s meetings with a lawyer, the source says, “Tom thinks it’s only a threat. But this is definitely a rough patch…Things are very tense right now. This could be the end of them.” Hey, sometimes when you’re at your highest point, things start to fall apart. Sometimes, you have one of the best seasons of your career, but then someone draws a hideous courtroom sketch of you and your Brazilian supermodel wife files for divorce, regardless. We’ve all been there.
