According to ABC News Royal Expert Victoria Arbiter, the Duchess of Cambridge will most likely eschew a big to-do because of the “added pressure.” “[She and Prince William] are clearly very wealthy, so a lavish baby shower would be seen as inappropriate … there’s nothing they can’t buy themselves.” Rumors indicated that her sister Pippa Middleton was planning a “down-to-earth” baby shower for the duchess, complete with wine, beer and Queen Elizabeth II.
