This broad is nuts! Via NYDailyNews Memo to Anderson Cooper: Your resolution for 2013 may want to be to stop inviting Kathy Griffin back for CNN’s New Year’s Eve live coverage. Griffin, who dropped the F bomb in 2009 and attempted to strip down to her underwear last year, outdid herself Tuesday night in her quest to shock the veteran newsman by referring to his genitalia on air and later attempting to simulate oral on her openly gay best friend. Cooper dropped the ball — metaphorically speaking — a few minutes into the broadcast when he brought up a Twitter follower’s comments that there could be a drinking game whenever he giggled at Griffin’s jokes. “I’m going to tickle your sack,” his comic co-host immediately said. “You can say sack [on air.] That’s not bad.” “I don’t know what you’re talking about. I have no sack of gifts here,” Cooper stammered. “A sack of Christmas presents. Oh, you thought he was some kind of punk??? Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeit Anderson Cooper Snaps At Picture Taking Fan On Airplane Note to fans: do not bother Anderson Cooper when he is trying to get some sleep. During an appearance on Kathy Griffin’s new Bravo talk show “Kathy” Thursday night, the silver-haired news anchor recalled a story about his recent run-in with a sneaky fan during a 6 a.m. flight this week. Cooper, 45, said he was trying to get some rest aboard the New York-to-Los Angeles flight when he noticed the man seated in front of him trying to snap some photos of Cooper using his iPhone’s front-facing camera. “I’m sitting there incredulous that he thinks I don’t see him … and he’s still taking the pictures,” Cooper said. “Normally I would just be like, ‘We’re not going to win this one,’ but I’ve lately become emboldened.” In a surprising twist, Cooper said Olympic figure skating champion Johnny Weir was coincidently sitting next to him on the flight. “I grab the guy on the shoulder, and I said something to the effect of, ‘B—h, what the f— are you doing?’” Cooper said to a shocked Griffin. Despite his burst of boldness, the CNN anchor seemed embarrassed by his surprising reaction. “It was one of those things, as soon as I said it, I was like, ‘I can’t believe I said this to this guy,’” he concluded. Adam Carolla: Women Aren’t Funny!

Adam Carolla, a comedian best known for The Man Show and whose career has sunk to a point where he appeared this year on Celebrity Apprentice , is in serious hot water for comments made to The New York Post . Simply put, Carolla told the newspaper that women are not funny. “They make you hire a certain number of chicks, and they’re always the least funny on the writing staff,” Carolla said of Hollywood. ‘The reason why you know more funny dudes than funny chicks is that dudes are funnier than chicks. If my daughter has a mediocre sense of humor, I’m just gonna tell her, ‘Be a staff writer for a sitcom. Because they’ll have to hire you, they can’t really fire you, and you don’t have to produce that much. It’ll be awesome.'” Was Carolla worried about backlash when he made this statement? No, he added. “When you’re picking a basketball team, you’ll take the brother over the guy with the yarmulke. Why? Because you’re playing the odds. When it comes to comedy, of course there’s Sarah Silverman, Tina Fey, Kathy Griffin – super-funny chicks. But if you’re playing the odds? No. “If Joy Behar or Sherri Shepherd was a dude, they’d be off TV. They’re not funny enough for dudes. What if Roseanne Barr was a dude? Think we’d know who she was? Honestly.” Of course, the backlash came instantly… and humorously, largely from female comedians. To wit, via Twitter: Lena Dunham : “Wait, Adam Carolla, is he the one who did the voice of the parrot in Aladdin??? He makes me giggle.” Jenny Johnson : “The biggest impact this whole Adam Carolla scandal has had is discovering 95% of people have no idea how to spell ‘Carolla.” Danielle Corsetto : “In an ironic twist, ‘women aren’t funny’ ranked number one funniest thing Adam Carolla has ever said.” Molly McAleer : “I don’t take Adam Carolla saying women aren’t funny seriously. He once told a caller on Loveline to eat a used tampon, y’know?” Which gender do YOU think is funnier?

Aubree Dieckmeyer Mangles American Idol Interview, Passes Audition

If American Idol were a talking competition, Aubree Dieckmeyer would be screwed. The 20-year old auditioned in San Diego for TV’s top-rated series last night… only she had trouble remembering just which show she hoping to win. See what we mean in the interview that precedes her actual try out here: Aubree Dieckmeyer American Idol Audition In the end, Dieckmeyer’s voice stood out more than her gaffe. We could see her advancing far on season 11. Among the opponents she’ll face in Hollywood, courtesy of the most recent audition episode? Kyle Crews , who made frat boys everywhere proud with his cover of ” Angel of Mine .”

Kathy Griffin’s still got it. The proud D-list comedienne famously stripped in Times Square for Anderson Cooper. To boot, last week, she followed that stunt by disrobing in front of David Letterman. The Late Show host appeared mildly flustered but for the most part dead panned it as if it were your average occurrence, even asking if she needed “pliers.” Nice of him to help out, wasn’t it? New Year’s Eve telecasts were chock full of entertaining performances, from Justin Bieber to Selena Gomez . But Kathy Griffin has stolen many of the headlines from these performers, not by belting out any notes… but by undoing her belt, along with other items of clothing. Indeed, the comedian co-hosted CNN’s Time Square coverage alongside Anderson Cooper and shed most of her layers while the camera was capturing the crystal ball, confetti and thousands of revelers. When it returned, viewers were treated to the following awkward sight: Kathy Griffin in Her Underwear “Are you freaking kidding me?” Cooper asked, trying to stifle the sort of laughter that engulfed him a few weeks ago on live TV. “I have a no-apology policy,” Griffin told CBS news hours after the broadcast. “No apologies for jokes. I apologize in my real life all the time. I say ridiculous things, I make mistakes constantly… But when I’m on stage, I’m at a microphone… it’s a joke!”
