13 Nastiest Celebrity Feuds of 2017

Taylor vs. Katy? Taylor vs. Kim? Taylor vs… everyone? No, 2017 was not a year where only Taylor Swift feuded with her fellow celebrities, it just felt that way. Scroll down for a look at the most memorable rivalries of the past 12 months: 1. Katy Perry vs. Taylor Swift This feud has been going on for years now, but it was elevated to dizzying heights in 2017. “Honestly, it’s really like she started it and it’s time for her to finish it,” said Katy in May during Carpool Karaoke with James Corden. What followed was a colossal change of heart on Katy’s part. In multiple interviews thereafter, Katy was saying that she always loved Taylor. In a hilarious turn of events, Taylor released all of her music on streaming services the same day Katy released her new album. This is the feud that keeps on giving. 2. NeNe Leaks vs. Kim Zolciak It’s crazy to imagine that NeNe and Kim were once scheduled to star in a joint spin-off of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Their feud in 2017 reached new levels of crazy when Kim’s daughter, Brielle Biermann claimed there as an insect infestation in NeNe’s home. “@briellebiermann We don’t have roaches! If you found 1, u brought it with u or it fell outta yo funky p—y!, said Leakes via Instagram. “Please know I will get You all the way together when you start f–king wit me and mine!” NeNe proceeded to call Kim racist, but it backfired in stunning fashion when Kim sought legal counsel. 3. Sarah Jessica Parker vs. Kim Cattrall A third Sex and the City movie was allegedly days away from entering production, but multiple reports swirled, claiming that Cattrall’s diva demands for the movie ultimately found it being shelved indefinitely. Cattrall subsequently chatted to Piers Morgan about her feud with Sarah Jessica Parker and she was not supportive of her former friend at all. “And this is really where I take to task the people from Sex and the City and specifically Sarah Jessica Parker in that I think she could have been nicer. I don’t know what her issue is, I never have.” We’ll probably be waiting until a reboot of the series kicks off for a response from Parker. 4. Caitlyn Jenner vs. The Kardashians Caitlyn Jenner released a tell-all memoir that was met with an icy response from the Kardashians. Caitlyn confirmed in November that the family no longer spoke to her. Kim was especially mad about the whole thing and opened up about it to Ellen DeGeneres. “I don’t expect her to be honest about my mom now, but it’s just so hurtful. Like, I just wish her all the success in the world, but not at our expense.” 5. Drake Bell vs. Josh Peck Drake Bell lashed out at Josh Peck for not inviting him to his wedding. “When you’re not invited to the wedding the message is clear….” he wrote on social media. In the end, the two men hugged it out at the MTV VMAs and all was right in the world. 6. Taylor Swift vs. Kim Kardashian & Kanye West Taylor brought her feud with Kim and Kanye back into the spotlight when she had some choice lyrics seemingly aimed at Kanye on “Look What You Made Me Do.” “I don’t like your little games / Don’t like your tilted stage / The role you made me play / Of the fool, no, I don’t like you.” Kim responded months late by reposting the image that included the nude wax figure of Taylor Swift from Kanye’s “Famous” video. Fans were not impressed and the comments of the post were filled with rat emojis. View Slideshow

Taylor Swift and Katy Perry: Did They Finally Bury the Hatchet?!

It feels like Taylor Swift and Katy Perry have been stuck in this petty feud forever, doesn’t it? Like, yes, it has been literal years since the first became mortal enemies, but still, it’s really been dragging out. It’s been over three years now since Taylor released “Bad Blood” — and since she revealed that it was about a fellow pop star . “For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not,” Taylor said in a 2014 interview. “She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, ‘Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?'” She said that the previous year (2013 if you’re keeping up, which means that this feud is nearly five years old) “she did something so horrible” that made her realize “Oh, we’re just straight up enemies.” “It had to do with business,” she explained. “She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me.” In all the time since this whole mess began, we learned what really happened: there were some backup dancers who toured with Katy, and then they toured with Taylor. Before they went on tour with Taylor, Katy told them that she’d be touring again soon too, so if they wanted to work with her again, to be sure to work that out in their contracts with Taylor. So they did, and when it was time for Katy’s tour, they left Taylor’s. That’s it. That’s what this whole dumb thing is about. Things sort of simmered for a while — they both acted shady here and there , or they did things that were perceived to be shady. But earlier this year, Katy finally retaliated by releasing a diss track of her own in “Swish Swish.” And after she released the song, she spent a whole, whole lot of time talking about Taylor. She accused her of trying to ” assassinate my character ,” and she hinted that “karma” would be coming for her. “There is the law of cause and effect,” Katy said in one interview. “You do something and there’s gonna be a reaction. And trust me, daddy, there’s gonna be a reaction.” Then, in a podcast she did to promote her new album back in June, she said that she was ” ready to let it go .” “I forgive her and I’m sorry for anything I ever did, and I hope the same from her,” she said. “I think it’s actually, like, I think it’s time.” “There are bigger fish to fry, and there are real problems in the world. You know what I’m saying? I love her, and I want the best for her.” “Maybe I don’t agree with everything she does,” she continued, “and she doesn’t agree with everything I do, but I just really, truly want to come together in a place of love and forgiveness and understanding and compassion.” And according to some new reports, it looks like they’ve finally been able to do that! Taylor has been spotted in Miami this week, filming a music video for her song, “End Game.” And according to several people who spotted her, one of her backup dancers looks a whole, whole lot like Katy. A source spoke with E! News and confirmed that Katy did film with Taylor, and that they made up while they were both in Miami. We guess we’ll see if it’s true when the video comes out, but we do know that Katy was down in Florida earlier this week on her tour, so it’s definitely possible she could have set aside time to hang with Taylor. So could it be? Is the dumb pop star feud of the century finally over?! And if it is, is anyone else just a little disappointed? View Slideshow: 21 Celebrity Feuds We Never Saw Coming

Katy Perry Doing the Worm in a Skirt of the Day

If you needed a reason to not want to fuck Katy Perry…and I am sure some of you do, because she is seen as being hot in some circles, circles I don’t understand or ever want to be a part of, but circles none the less…in what I guess is some kind of sex cult level master mind manipulation tactics from her team – the Illuminati…and suckers get sucked into the LIE…. This is what she looks like when she’s riding the cock…just an bulky, awkward disaster of a woman, smashing pelvis into floors… She’s doing the demo in a little plaid skirt, and even that isn’t hot…because Katy Perry isn’t hot.. That’s about all I need to say about that….I’ve said too much… The post Katy Perry Doing the Worm in a Skirt of the Day appeared first on DrunkenStepFather.com .

Pink on Christina Aguilera Beef: She Tried to Punch Me!

There's so much talk about Katy Perry vs. Taylor Swift these days that it's easy to forget the current queens of pop aren't the first to wage all-out war against one another. That honor probably belongs to a couple greasy-haired dudes who got in a fight backstage at The Ed Sullivan Show , but who cares about them? We want to rewind a bit, but not all the way back to the days when people paid money for music, like freakin' barbarians. This story takes us back to the early 2000s, a time when many Americans innocently thought we'd elected the biggest jackass president this country would ever know. In 2001, Pink, Christina Aguilera, Lil Kim, and Mya all collaborated on a cover of “Lady Marmalade” for the soundtrack to Moulin Rouge , aka The One Where Nicole Kidman Tried to Sing . Apparently, the former two got into a disagreement about who would sing what part, and there was very nearly a physical altercation. Pink has since attained the status of living legend, while Christina spent some time on that show with the spinning chairs. Anyway, Pink appeared on Watch What Happens Live last night, where she told Andy Cohen about the time that Christina tried to punch her: “We were super young and super new at the whole thing, and I think I’m an alpha, and she’s an alpha,” she said during the show's “Plead the Fifth” segment. “I’m used to taking my altercations physical and she’s used to having them verbal. We’re just very different, we’re very different. And we were very young and new.” Unable to suppress laughter, Pink added: “She swung on me in a club. Hilarious … I was like, 'What's happening?'” Pink says she and X-tina are “fine” these days, which is something Aguilera should be very happy about. That would've been a severely one-sided fight.

Katy Perry: Disastrous VMAs Hosting Has American Idol Producers in a PANIC!

Folks who didn’t watch the VMAs on Sunday because they were too busy watching relatives bone on Game of Thrones or escaping rising floodwaters, answer this: What did you hear, after-the-fact, about Katy Perry? Katy Perry was the host, and she was just … not overwhelming. No huge controversies, sure, but not even Katy’s terrible opening monologue was especially memorable. That’s a problem for Katy, but it might be an even bigger problem for American Idol producers, who are reportedly very concerned that they’re paying $25 million to Katy Perry to be a judge only for her to flop. On Sunday, I had friends over, and they mentioned that traffic was especially slow near my home. Why? Because American Idol auditions were in town. Yes, in case you’ve managed to forget, American Idol is coming back, like some archetypal horde that people thought had been defeated. The biggest stir of publicity about it is Katy Perry’s salary of $25 million. Don’t get us wrong, she’s a big-time celebrity who’s hosted the Superbowl, which is probably what the American Idol producers and the network were thinking when they hired her. What they clearly weren’t thinking about: One, that Katy Perry was singing for her Superbowl Halftime show, which is very different from sitting at a table and talking and judging. Two, that Katy Perry was pretty famously upstaged at that show by Left Shark . You didn’t forget Left Shark, did you? Well now, RadarOnline is reporting that ABC higher ups and American Idol showrunners are worried that they made a mistake by hiring Katy Perry  to be a judge. It sounds like they’re panicking, actually. RadarOnline ‘s source reports that her lackluster hosting over the weekend is what has them so concerned. “They are paying her $25 million and she was a total dud [on the VMAs].” You might be wondering how they didn’t catch it earlier, right? Here’s how: “No one ever auditioned her for the new Idol job and they are freaking out that they hired someone who is terrible on live television.” Oh dear! Usually, if you get a job without applying for it (or auditioning, in this case), it’s because someone who’s seen your work up close before (maybe a coworker or a former boss) is either doing the hiring or has vouched for you. It sounds like Katy was just offered the gig, sight unseen. ABC had already had concerns, RadarOnline had previously reported, that Katy Perry might upstage contestants. (Like Mariah Carey) Or that she might just need to tone down … not her look, but her very attention-grabbing personality. (As far as we can tell, that’s not a euphemism for her boobs) Judges are supposed to evaluate contestants, not overshadow them. Now, though, it sounds like ABC and American Idol are afraid that Katy’s just going to fall flat like she did at the VMAs. Just because someone is good at singing and performing doesn’t mean that they’re good at talking on camera. Similarly, like, just because someone’s great at giving interview or interviewing people doesn’t mean that they have a dazzling singing voice or would make an amazing performer. This should be a lesson to us all, we suppose: make sure that you hire the best and most highly recommended babysitter or dog-walker or whatever. Not just the one who happens to be hot.
