Kenya Moore Welcomes First Child!

She’s here, folks! The 47-year old Real Housewives of Atlanta alum gave birth to a baby girl named Brooklyn Doris Daly at 9:39 a.m. ET on Sunday, Nov. 4, People Magazine has confirmed. The precious little daughter weighs 5 lbs. and 12 oz. This is the first child for both Moore and her husband, Marc Daly. What inspired this unique name? “Brooklyn because that’s where we met and fell in love, and Doris after my grandmother who passed away last year and who raised me,” Moore told People of the monkier’s basis and significance. Kenya announced the exciting news of her pregnancy on stage at The Real Housewives reunion back in April. “We will definitely be welcoming a boy or girl in late this year,” Moore said in response to a question from host Andy Cohen, adding at the time: “Oh my God, I said that! I don’t want to talk about the details because I’m still very nervous about everything so I want to get past a safe place.” At 47 years old, Moore suffered a few complications related to her age. (She is not old by regular standards, but she was considered a “geriatric” mother-to-be within the medical community.) According to People, the former Miss USA – who conceived through in vitro fertilizatio –  gave birth via emergency cesarean section after revealing on October 27 that she had tested positive for preeclampsia. This is a complication that caused her to gain 17 pounds in just a week due to severe swelling and water retention, high blood pressure, and excess protein in urine. “This is NOT normal!” wrote Moore on Instagram along with a photo of her swollen feet that day, adding: “I took more tests. Baby is fine but if they come back higher #babydaly will have to come same day. “Staying positive. To my pregnant sisters please go to your visits and tell the doctor of any drastic changes. Thank God I have great doctors.” On Saturday, meanwhile, Moore let fans on Instagram know that her daughter was on the way. She wrote on Instagram: “If you want to make God laugh have a plan… Won’t be long now. Pray for us #babydaly #weloveyou #prayers.” Moore and Daly, who met through a mutual friend started dating in December of 2016 and got married in St. Lucia in June of last year. We both want to start a family, and soon – like, right away. We both want a child,” she said at the time. Sadly, Bravo viewers will not get to see Moore’s pregnancy play out on television. She has already said she will NOT appear on Season 11 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. “Words cannot express the joy and happiness I feel in my heart,” Kenya wrote on Instagram in response to her baby shower last month, concluding: “So overwhelming to have a room of people who came to celebrate the impending life of #babydaly.” We send our very best wishes and our hearty congratulations to Moore and Daly. Kenya Moore Gives Birth To Baby Girl Brooklyn Doris Daly!!!

Paras Griffin/Getty Images Kenya Moore Gives Birth To Daughter Brooklyn Daly Kenya Moore is officially a Mommy! PEOPLE Magazine reports that the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star, 47, gave birth to daughter Brooklyn Doris Daly at 9:39 a.m. ET on Sunday, Nov. 4. The baby girl weighs 5 lbs. and 12 oz. Moore explained the baby’s name for the magazine: “Brooklyn because that’s where we met and fell in love, and Doris after my grandmother who passed away last year and who raised me,” Moore tells PEOPLE. Brooklyn is the first child for Moore and her husband Marc Daly and the couple told the magazine that the new mom is doing well and “Brooklyn is very alert and active.” Moore reportedly conceived baby Brooklyn through in vitro fertilization and gave birth via emergency c-section after testing positive for preeclampsia. Moore blamed the condition for causing her to gain “17 lbs. in ONE week due to severe swelling and water retention, high blood pressure, and excess protein in urine.” We’re glad that both mom and baby are healthy and doing well after that scare! Saturday Kenya posted on Instagram to let the world know that her baby was on the way. “If you want to make God laugh have a plan…” she captioned in the photo that showed her in her hospital bed. “Won’t be long now. Pray for us #babydaly #weloveyou #prayers.” Ironically the new season of “Real Housewives Of Atlanta” airs Sunday night — but Kenya wasn’t expected to be on the show this season! You gotta love the timing here. Kenya announces her pregnancy on the #RHOA season 10 reunion, doesn't come back to film next season, and then gives birth on #RHOA season 11 premiere day. “I give the people what they want, and they always want Moore!” pic.twitter.com/NJHcuqGqWx — Dave Quinn (@NineDaves) November 4, 2018

NeNe Leakes Shades Kenya Moore, Says Kenya’s To Blame For RHOA Situation NeNe Leakes had time to clear the air today about her relationship with Kenya Moore . As previously reported NeNe’s been tweeting about RHOA and shocked fans when she revealed that she wasn’t invited to her ex-costar Kenya Moore’s baby shower. According to her, it’s Kenya’s own fault that she’s not on RHOA because she wanted to keep her personal life off the air. Remember when she had her surprise wedding without Bravo cameras??? “Bravo, Andy nor myself should be blamed 4 some1 wanting 2 b on a reality show & NOT show their reality!” For those asking, i was definitely being sarcastic the other day but my well wishes were pure & from the heart! So Nasty & So Rude: NeNe Leakes Wasn’t Invited To Kenya Moore’s Baby Shower

Charles Sykes/Bravo/NBCU Photo Bank via Getty Images Mystery solved… NeNe Leakes Wasn’t Invited To Kenya Moore’s Baby Shower If you’re wondering why NeNe Leakes was the only O.G. housewife not at Kenya Moore’s baby showe r, then wonder no more. As previously reported Kenya had a fairytale themed celebration that brought out housewives, “Married to Medicine” stars and of course her husband Marc Daly. Noticeably absent however was NeNe who seemingly played nice with Kenya on social media and blasted Bravo for not making her a full-time housewife this season. “So happy for her! Bravo should have made her a housewife this season!” wrote NeNe in the Instagram comments section. “She really really deserves it! Congrats girl! I know you bringing a life into the world and I’m trying to save a life.” […] “She should be a housewife! Bravo is crazy. They r soooo beautiful! So so happy for her and Marc.” Her comments might’ve been dripping in shade, however, because NeNe’s confirming that she wasn’t even invited to the party. NeNe told a fan on Twitter today that she didn’t get an invite, but she’s still willing to buy baby Daly a gift. RT @PorozaVuyo : @NeNeLeakes Hello Nene, my name is Vuyokazi, did you attend Kenya's baby shower and did you buy a gift, if yes, what was the gift? Thanks for letting me ask No i wasn’t invited! I didn’t get a gift but I’m oppose to giving 1. I luv babies & i luv shopping — NeNe Leakes (@NeNeLeakes) October 23, 2018 Ooop! A few weeks ago NeNe told  Bossip on WE tv that while she doesn’t necessarily miss Kenya, she was certain that she’d be invited to her baby shower. “I can’t say that I do [miss her],” said NeNe. “I probably will get an invite, we don’t have any beef. If I don’t that just saves me from buying a gift honey, I can do something else with my bread.” So much for that…   Are you surprised that Kenya snubbed NeNe from her baby shower???   Charles Sykes/Bravo/NBCU Photo Bank via Getty Images   See more of NeNe’s comments on the flip.

Kenya Moore: Out of The Real Housewives of Atlanta!

The long-gestating rumors have turned into a reality for Kenya Moore. According to a reliable new report, the veteran reality star will not be returning to The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Chatter over Moore’s role on the Bravo hit has been making the Internet rounds for weeks now. Heck, there was even talk about a month ago that Moore would be fired by producers because she did not want cameras in the room when she gave birth. (Indeed, Kenya is pregnant! How exciting, right?!?) This People Magazine article, however, makes no such grand (and semi-ridiculous) claim. It explains that Moore could not even technically be fired from the series because she was in the middle of a contract negotiation; she was not actually signed for Season 11. And that contract negotiation? It did NOT go smoothly. An insider tells People that production and Moore both wanted her to return as a full-time Housewife. However, she wanted more money than the network was offering, while executives did actually want to film all aspects of her life, most notably the time she spends with husband Marc Daly. Moore stunned fans last summer when she married Daly … … and she also stunned producers, who wanted to film the ceremony. If only they had known about it! But Kenya and Daly famously got eloped in June of 2017 when the Bravo cameras were down, without telling producers. He only appeared on The Real Housewives of Atlanta once during season 10, for a brief cameo. Moreover: The couple is expecting its first child together (he or she is due before the end of the year), yet Moore kept her entire fertility treatment away from series. Nor did she participate in last season’s cast trip to Barcelona. In other words: we sort of get where the show is coming from here. The whole point of being a cast member is to open up your life to viewers. You can’t pick and choose what aspects you wish to make public, not when you’re getting paid a ton tobe a Real Housewife. “Everyone wanted to have Kenya back, but they wanted to have the old Kenya back – the one who isn’t afraid of the cameras,” a source close to production told the aforementioned publication, adding: “You can’t have secrets and be on reality TV. Especially when other Housewives are showing all of their lives – the good, bad, and the ugly. “They need to see your life.” This report concludes that Daly isn’t really interested in being on the show; that Kenya knows her worth; and that she was fine playing hardball. She can live with this outcome. “Kenya really loves her life with her husband. She’s always wanted to be a wife and a mother, and she’s put all of her focus into her growing family,” the source explains. “She’s not going to jeopardize that for some television show.”

Audrey Roloff Shares Extra Special Selfie, Reflects on Personal Love Story

Back in February, Audrey Roloff wrote three sentences about Jeremy Roloff . It was part of the hashtag movement titled “#3sentencelovestory,” or else we’re sure Audrey could have written many more. Now, along similar lines, the Little People, Big World star has posted an extra special selfie of her and her husband, including with its a detailed explanation of just why it’s so very special. “This was a pivotal day in our love story,” wrote Audrey to open her caption, adding in further detail: “It signified the end of friend-zone, and the day that fanned the spark of our love into a captivating flame.” Whoa there, Auds! TMI Alert! We’re just kidding. That’s actually a very sweet and poetic sentence…and also an appropriate one, considering the couple has named its daughter Ember and that word is typically associated with a flame. “I remember every single detail that proceeded this selfie as if it happened yesterday,” Roloff continued, prior to listing said details as follows: Jeremy putting on the science goggles for the day’s adventure because he thought it would be funny, our frizzed curls, my eyes growing wider and my knees growing weaker, deep talks and silent walks, the taste of sun-warmed cherries, and the sound of the coyotes echoing through the rolling hills of Helvetia. It was the day I became Daisy Braids. Audrey and Jeremy got married on September 20, 2014. As Audrey explains above, the stars were just friends for awhile before things turned hotter, heavier and, we presume, sexier. They now have a precious eight-month old daughter and one of the most stable marriages on television. Heck, Jeremy and Audrey even have a book in the works that outlines their romantic history and offers advice to others lookingto find love or maintain love. We can’t wait to read it. “Although this is not my FIRST Instagram post, in lieu of nostalgia, I just had to share it,” concluded Audrey in her caption. (We’re pretty sure she doesn’t know the meaning of the phrase “in lieu of,” based on the way she used it here. But we’ll let that slide.) There’s been talk of late that Little People, Big World may end soon because Matt Roloff is moving to Arizona. If this is true, here’s what we want to know: Would you watch a spinoff that centers around Audrey and Jeremy? That’s a pretty great idea, is it not?!? Someone get TLC on the phone! Kenya Moore Deletes Baby Bump Photo as Fans Question Her Pregnancy

As much as Kenya Moore has slammed divorce speculation , some fans still think that Kenya is faking her marriage and her pregnancy . These ridiculous rumors are clearly getting under Kenya’s skin. In fact, the RHOA star was apparently so upset that she deleted a sweet photo of her and her husband … possibly because he wasn’t wearing his ring. The photo that we have for you below looks totally innocuous. But Kendra has deleted it from her Instagram page without warning or explanation. In it, she and husband Marc Daly are enjoying a relaxing evening of golf. Some fans noted that Kenya appears to be showing a bit of a baby bump. Others noted that she appears to be concealing it. There was some whining in the comments about Marc’s wedding ring being off of his finger — he removed it to play golf, folks. There is nothing in this image that should lead to it being deleted from social media, and yet … it is gone. On Friday, Kenya addressed the conspiracy theorists who seemed to believe that she was fabricating her pregnancy or even her marriage. “@bet @celebrity_insider_org @theinquisitr shame on you for constantly regurgitating the slanderous fake news from #radaronline.” She then lists some of the stories that have gotten under her skin. “Fake Husband, Fake Pregnancy, Fake Boyfriends, Fake Storyline, FIred, Fake Divorce.” She hates false stories and she hates seeing them recycled. “At least be effing original with your hateful lies.” She says that she understands being a subject of speculation, but that she wants her family left out of it. “I’m used to you all making up stories to get clicks off my name but LEAVE MY FAMILY ALONE.” She signed off, writing: “#thatamrsdaly2you #blacklove” Forget the conspiracy theories. Kenya is pregnant , folks. Some fans weren’t sure if she was really pregnant when she made the announcement at the reunion. “We will definitely be welcoming a boy or girl in late this year.” When Andy asked about her due date, Kenya grew a little shy. “Well, I don’t want to talk about the details because I’m just still — I’m just still very nervous about everything.” This will be her first child. Notably, Kenya is 47 years old. “And I just want to get past a safe place.” Very understandable. Fans have been on the lookout for Kenya’s baby bump for a while, without much luck — she’s been, well, a little shy. This has led to all sorts of speculation, including the idea that perhaps she is using a surrogate. Kenya saw that and responded on Twitter. “No surrogate but maybe my next one.” Surrogates — or probably a gestational carrier, in this case — are a smart, though expensive, choice for people whose pregnancies may be particularly risky. When fans asked why she is being so shy, Kenya wrote on Instagram: “I was not planning on speaking about my pregnancy this early as due to my age I’m high risk.” She hastily deleted the comment. Does Kenya deleting the golfing photo mean that there’s trouble in her marriage or with her pregnancy? We can’t rule it out, but … there may be a simpler explanation. Maybe she got tired of seeing all of the hateful comments and the spiteful speculation about her husband and her pregnancy — two major sources of happiness in her life. She may be a public figure and a reality star, but that doesn’t mean that she has to listen to people’s chatter about her on her own Instagram page. Right now, Kenya has to do what’s best for her health and for her baby. She can delete whatever she wants. View Slideshow: Real Housewives All Stars: Who Should Be Cast?

Kenya Moore Accused of Faking Pregnancy AND Marriage! What?!

Kenya Moore went on a date night and she shared a photo of herself with her husband, Marc Daly. And then all hell broke loose in the comments. Some followers wanted to know why Marc isn’t wearing his ring. Those comments were enough to get Kenya to actually respond. And others questioned why pregnant Kenya Moore doesn’t seem to be showing a baby bump. Kenya shared this cuddly photo of the two of them. She provided a little context in her caption: “#DateNight with bae [red heart emoji]” She also added: “(Bae’s ring is on the table thank you for asking)” When a celebrity has updated their captions to answer a recurring question from fans, you know that the comments are going to be interesting. Kenya’s followers did not disappoint. “I thought you were pregnant? Oh I get it #TryingToStayRelevant” If you’ll recall, Kenya said that she and Marc are expecting a child — even though she’s 47. “Where’s the baby bump? Maybe surrogate???” That’s always possible, though it’s not the case for Kenya, as we’ll explain later. “Where’s your baby bump?” She’s clearly hugging her husband. That’s not going to put her bump on display. Then there’s this ominous af comment: “What we say and do, will be returned to us.” That unexplained comment is going to keep us awake at night. “I thought she was pregnant she don’t look pretty on this picture.” Rude! “A surrogate mother is a blessing congrats!!! Your lil one will be precious.” She’s … not doing a surrogacy, and it’s weird that people assume that she is. “Where is the pregnant belly?” Right there, just not being emphasized by her pose, folks. “I thought she was pregnant. What happened?” Nothing. “I THOUGHT YOU WERE PREGNANT???????????????” We did not in any way exaggerate the number of question marks in that person’s all-caps comment. “Her ass looks pregnant.” RUDE!! Kenya was also bombarded with questions about the location of her husband’s ring, which she answered in her own comment. “Jeez on the table. He can’t swing the club with it.” Rings can get in the way, folks. Kenya also had her defenders in the comments, of course. “So happy for you both! Who cares about a ring!! Love has no boundaries held within a ring. Be free and who cares what other people think!!” When she offered that explanation, she was told that it was not owed. “You do not have to explain anything.” Others shot down the absurd rumor that she was somehow faking a pregnancy. “I see the bump…y’all blind!” Fans wished her the best. “So happy for you don’t let Social media mess up your relationship.” One of Kenya’s defenders left a comment so entertaining that we absolutely had to share it with you. Here, she smacks down one of Kenya’s critics: “Wow no child left behind law helped you move right along didn’t it? Anyone who still menstrates can have a baby. Medicine can also assist in having a baby. For example, IVF treatments is one. Please educate yourself before making yourself look like a PURE FOOL.” Wonderful. Kenya, by the way, took to Instagram stories to make one thing perfectly clear: “No I don’t have a surrogate.” Let celebrities share photos of themselves, please, without harassing them in the comments.
