According to Glamour, a small study that was conducted on 200 Canadian women ages 19 to 25 after the guidelines were introduced revealed that some women became quite lackadaisical in regard to their sexual health. Apparently, many were relieved that they no longer had to undergo Pap testing annually, and the rate of testing decreased by 60 percent.
