Britney Spear’s ex-husband Kevin Federline has revealed he was spurred into losing weight after learning his nickname was K-Fat . The former back-up dancer confessed he had piled on the weight and tipped the scales at 240lbs after he stopped exercising and began eating too much. But it was only when he saw photos of himself in the papers that he knew he had to do something about the way he looked while speaking to Entertainment Tonight . “I looked pregnant. It was upsetting. It’s usually easy for me to brush stuff off of my shoulder. But when I see a picture of me like that, and people are calling me K- Fat, I had to do something about it. I loved to eat pizza and pasta, so between not working out, and turning 30 years old, the weight started coming on real fast. I had my own mother telling me she’s worried about my health.” Federline, 31, also revealed his weight gain adversely impacted his relationship with sons Sean Preston , four, and Jayden , three. “I couldn’t run around with my children as much and was being lazy and overeating. I’ve always been a fit guy, so those were wake-up calls for me.” Federline signed up for VH1’s Celebrity Fit Club 7: Boot Camp , which premieres on February 8, where he was joined by his ex Shar Jackson , the mother of his other two kids Kori and Kaleb .
