Happy Anniversary, Joleasa!

In the wake of so many celebrity splits – farewell, Ryan and Scarlett; best of luck, Tony and Eva – it’s nice to be reminded of a couple that appears happier than ever, isn’t it? Such is certainly the case for Kevin Jonas and Danielle Deleasa, who were married one year ago yesterday. The twosome celebrated this occasion at Walt Disney World, as seen above. Sources say they booked Cinderella’s Castle Suite last night. We’ll let readers use their own imagination for why. But let’s just say that if rumors of Danielle’s pregnancy are false, perhaps they won’t be in the near future. Congratulations to this adorable couple!

Kevin Jonas Says He’s Had No Contact With Demi Lovato

‘Of course, we wish her well in her recovery,’ eldest Jonas Brother says. By Jocelyn Vena The Jonas Brothers Photo: Jim Spellman/ WireImage When Kevin Jonas and bodyguard Big Rob called into “The Seven” on Thursday to talk about the X the Text campaign they’re involved in with Allstate, the elder statesman of the Jonas Brothers commented on Demi Lovato, who left her tour with the JoBros last month to seek treatment for personal issues . The guys have remained mum on the subject since Lovato left the tour, not addressing the matter until now, when they sent the singer/actress their well-wishes. “I really haven’t had any contact [with her],” Kevin said on “The Seven.” “Of course, we wish her well in her recovery.” On the subject of texting, host Julie Alexandria asked Kevin if the rumor was true that middle Jonas brother, Joe, texted Taylor Swift back in 2008 to end the pair’s relationship . “No, that is not true,” he answered about the two-year-old incident. “People have all their speculations, and she seems to talk about it in all her songs, so it’s fine.” All drama aside, Kevin dished a bit about what the brothers are working on and looked ahead to some of the projects he and his brothers are gearing up to get cracking on for the new year. “There’s a lot of really cool things happening, a lot of new TV, a lot of new music and a lot of buzz about Joe’s project , different things like that, so we’re really excited,” he said. “We’ll probably lock ourselves in the studio for a couple of months and make an album that we love and we’re proud of.” Related Artists Jonas Brothers

Kevin Jonas Takes Fans Backstage At Jonas Brothers Tour

Oldest JoBro shows off the brothers’ entertainment center, dressing rooms and chill spot. By Jocelyn Vena Kevin Jonas on tour in Chicago Photo: MTV News Kevin Jonas and his brothers , Nick and Joe, are currently on tour with Demi Lovato and their “Camp Rock 2” pals , and while life on the road can be difficult at times, the guys have managed to bring along some of the comforts of home. When MTV News caught up with the brothers at their tour kickoff in Tinley Park, Illinois, we were treated to a behind-the-scenes look at the guys’ home away from home. First up was the entertainment center. “We roll with this everywhere,” explained Kevin, with wife Danielle by his side. “We first built this on the ‘Hannah Montana’ tour. We were there, and we wanted something to be able to watch TV and stuff, and so they built this road case. It’s got gaming systems and everything.” Their dressing room has two closets: one shared by Nick and Joe, and one shared by Kevin and Danielle. “[This is] wardrobe. It’s kind of intense,” Kevin said of the two dressing areas. “Me and Dani, [ours] is over here. So we’ll travel and these cases come with us, and it has all our clothes in it, which was really nice. It allows us to not have to lug big suitcases everywhere we go.” Their dressing room wouldn’t be compete without a seating area that includes a very comfy, oversize couch, where Riley — Kevin and Danielle’s dog — likes to hang out. “This is where we chill and we just relax and spread our wings,” the oldest JoBro said. “This is our little friend, Riley. She’s our little girl. She kind of runs the place. She’s kind of become our mascot for our Road Dogs games . … She gets the job done.” What do you think of the Jonas Brothers’ home away from home? Bret Michaels, Kevin Jonas, Katharine McPhee Open Up On ‘When I Was 17’

‘Here’s the good thing about sucking when you first start to lose your virginity: You can only get better,’ Michaels shares. By MTV News staff Kevin Jonas in “When I Was 17” Another episode of MTV’s “When I Was 17” is behind us, and, well, we learned some things we just can’t unlearn. We now know the gnarly details of how Bret Michaels lost his virginity , the embarrassing ritual to which Kevin Jonas submitted his hair and the finer points of Katharine McPhee’s efforts to stage a secretive sleepover with her high school boyfriend. Don’t say we never did nothing for you, OK? Surely your weekend is better for having Michaels walk you through his inaugural sex romp! “I was the ultimate rocker-slash-jock. I was the rock jock,” he explained. “I lost my virginity around 17. It involved a motorcycle, a blanket — I’m going to admit it — it was an 8-track pop-tape player at the Mechanicsburg Fish Hatchery.” We’ll go ahead and give the Poison frontman the benefit of the doubt that a fish hatchery was a dope place to take a girl back in ’80s-era rural Pennsylvania. Michaels may have known the perfect spot to bring the lucky lady, but he had no clue what to do once he got there. “She was a little older than I was and much more experienced,” he said. “She showed me things I never knew. I could safely say I was not skilled yet. I made a two-pump chump look good. So it wasn’t my finest moment. But here’s the good thing about sucking when you first start to lose your virginity: You can only get better.” Better is exactly what’s happened to Jonas’ hair since he was 17. To control what his friends called simply a terrible ‘fro, the musician took extreme measures. “I flat-ironed my hair every single day, and it was a nightmare,” he laughed. “It was pointy and spiky and flat. It was a typical Jersey thing, I guess, but a little bit more than the typical tape-up.” The things a high school kid will do to stay cool. Just ask “American Idol” runner-up Katharine McPhee, who admitted that she used to be “known as the serial dater.” “My boyfriend at the time, Kevin, we planned this sleepover at this other friend’s house whose parents were out of town,” she explained. “I told my dad, ‘I’m going to sleep at Michelle’s house.’ There were a bunch of girls there and guys there. It was really fun. We all went to sleep, and it was, like, 3 in the morning. The house phone kept ringing, and I was like, ‘Kevin!’ I woke him up, I was like, ‘Something’s wrong. The phone keeps ringing.’ He finally picks up the phone, and it’s my dad. I just heard this deep, serious voice on the other line. I’m like, ‘Holy sh–.’ I thought in that moment I was going to die.” McPhee added: “I was grounded for two weeks.” Don’t miss “When I Was 17,” airing Saturday at 11 a.m. on MTV. Kevin Jonas Reveals His Pole-Vaulting Past On ‘When I Was 17’

‘People laughed at me for a while about that one,’ the pop star says of his track days. By MTV News staff Kevin Jonas Photo: MTV News These days, Kevin Jonas makes a living as a pop star along with his superstar brothers, Joe and Nick. But there was a time when Kevin had to mow lawns for pocket money and, back in his after-school days, Kevin was a member of the track team. Yes, Kevin Jonas used to be a jock. “When I was 17, my favorite sport was pole vaulting,” Kevin recalled in this week’s episode of MTV’s “When I Was 17,” which also features stories from Katharine McPhee and Bret Michaels . “Freshman year of high school, my history teacher actually asked me. He’s like, ‘You’re going to join the track team. You should be a pole vaulter.’ ” After some skepticism about doing it and initially being confused by what was expected of him as a pole vaulter, Kevin quickly changed his mind. “I was like, ‘Oh, OK. Whatever.’ And then I realized what pole vaulting was,” he remembered. “And I was like, ‘Yes! Please!’ ” In the episode, Kevin’s uncle Josh shared just how much Kevin enjoyed the sport. “He loved it — he loved the challenge, always tried to go higher, the extra next level.” Now, Kevin spends his time at “Camp Rock,” but back in the day at high school in New Jersey, it was all about Camp Track. “Pole vaulting was my passion. I even went to a pole-vaulting camp, yeah,” he said. “People laughed at me for a while about that one, but it was cool.” “When I Was 17” — this week featuring Kevin Jonas, Bret Michaels and Katharine McPhee — airs Saturday at 11 a.m. on MTV. Jonas Brothers Trapped in Elevator For 45 Minutes

American pop boyband Jonas Brothers were stucked in an elevator for 45 minutes. After giving a free concert to thousand adoring fans last Saturday at The Grove in Hollywood, they found themselves trapped in an elevator. “We were stuck in an elevator with eight people and Big Rob,” said Joe Jonas, referring to the band’s illustrious security guard. “It was a 21-person elevator,” notes Kevin. Joe and Nick were the first to panick which prompted some disagreement from Nick. “I didn’t panic,” insists the young star, who, mindful of his diabetic condition, points out, “I just didn’t have my [blood-sugar] checker with me. No one had it on them, and I was afraid that if [my blood-sugar level] went low in an elevator we wouldn’t be able to do anything about it.” Joe said, “It went from, ‘Okay, this is hilarious, we’re stuck in an elevator, okay press the button,’ to ‘This is crazy, okay, I can’t breathe, this is insane.’ “ It was fortunate for them to be with a good company during the confinement in the elevator. “Chef Tim Love was in the elevator, with us and he was trying to become Rambo in the moment,” says Joe, who, as a fan of Love’s cooking, had invited him to join them that day. “It was really funny,” says Joe. “It was crazy to see the fact that he was put in the situation.” To top it off, the entire experience was captured on film. “We had our photographer Rob Hoffman with us, and he had his video camera so he taped the whole thing,” says Nick. “It ended with the fire department coming through with axes.” Jonas Brothers Trapped in Elevator For 45 Minutes is a post from: Daily World Buzz Continue reading

Jonas Brothers Tease Future Albums, Solo Plans

‘I think it would be cool!’ Kevin Jonas says about making his own album after Nick and Joe’s side projects. By Jocelyn Vena The Jonas Brothers Photo: MTV News The Jonas Brothers aren’t shy about branching out from their sibling trio. Earlier this year, Nick released an album with his side project, Nick Jonas and the Administration . And after teasing that he was working on some solo music , Joe, along with Demi Lovato, released the song “Make a Wave” from the “Oceans” soundtrack. So does that mean Kevin is the next JoBro to go it alone? “I don’t know about that. Possibly,” he told MTV News at Family Day , an annual charity event that raises money for leukemia, cancer and AIDS research. “I think it would be cool.” But that doesn’t mean the brothers are going their separate ways. Kevin reiterated what Nick told us back in January: “As the Jonas Brothers, we are continuing to make music.” So even if a Kevin solo album doesn’t happen, the guys say they have plenty of new music catalogued for whatever they end up wanting to do next. “We all have been working on lots of music, and … it could really be for anything,” Joe added. “It could be for other artists or it can be for ourselves. … It’s all up in the air. We just love making music, so we just want to be in the studio all the time. “We’ve been in the other room talking about [when we might release the next Jonas Brothers album],” he continued. “For us, we have a big year planned out, [and] that’s definitely in the works. For us, we have a lot of music coming up [for the “Camp Rock 2” soundtrack and the “JONAS” soundtrack]. That in itself is two different records.” As for those albums, and any future JB albums, Nick said the musical style they go with next is something they will be incredibly proud to release. “It’s all music we love, and we’re looking forward to playing,” he said. “[We’re] trying to figure out which fits us best, and then we’ll go in that direction.” What do you want to see the Jonas Brothers do next musically? By Jocelyn Vena Kevin Jonas Photo: Mark Davis/ Getty Images Kevin Jonas is set to make a guest appearance on “Minute to Win It,” the NBC game show hosted by chef and television personality Guy Fieri. The oldest JoBro will flex his competitive muscle to benefit the Change for the Children Foundation. The Jonas brother’s episode airs on May 23, before the two-hour live finale of “The Celebrity Apprentice.” On “Minute,” contestants take a shot at 10 “deceptively simple” games, each with a 60-second time limit, for the chance to win $1 million. “We can’t wait for Kevin to come on the show and take on some of our most nerve-wracking challenges,” executive producer Craig Plestis said in a statement to “Access Hollywood.” “We’re anxious to see if he can win it in a minute and raise some big money for his charity.” Kevin and his brothers, Nick and Joe, are currently shooting their hit Disney Channel series, “JONAS,” prepping for a possible summer tour and gearing up for the release of their Disney Channel flick “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam.” Earlier this year, Joe revealed that though the Jonas Brothers have been pretty busy working on their own projects, they have no plans to break up any time soon. “I’m doing a lot of writing and I’m not sure where that will pick up,” Joe said . “I’m kind of sure, but I can’t really talk about it. I’m excited. It’s gonna be a really cool 2010. [Nick’s] music and the music I’m writing and Kevin’s music that he really wanted to start writing. I think all of our music together after all this time is really going to make it a great tour and a new album.” Do you think Kevin will be successful on “Minute to Win It”? Tell us in the comments!
