Beyonce Facetimes Terminally Ill Fan Bey just made one of her fans ‘ dying wish come true with a simple FaceTime call. The superstar placed a phone call to a Houston-based teen who’s been diagnosed with a rare form of stage four cancer. Ebony Banks graduated high school early despite her diagnosis and spending most of her senior year in and out of the hospital, and said her only wish was to get the chance to meet Queen Bey before the end. Keyshia Cole Joins LaHHH Love & Hip Hop Hollywood is just full of surprises this next season, isn’t it? According to TheJasmineBrand , Keyshia Cole is 100% joining the cast of the Hollywood iteration of the show, and she’s bringing her ex-husband Booby Gibson with her. Sources say she wasn’t 100% on her decision after news broke that she’d be on the show and the fan response wasn’t exactly the most positive. So much so, that she actually publicly denied the truth when the backlash rolled in. “After the public found out about Keyshia joining the show, she didn’t like the response. She got cold feet and was having second thoughts.” But apparently Vh1 showed Keyshia the right numbers and she’s completely on board now. On top of roles for Keyshia and Booby, her fashion stylist and personal assistant will support her storyline. No word on if the eggs on Bow Wow’s Rolls Royce or that piano-top grind for Birdman will be brought up on the show…but dammit, we hope so. Will you be watching? Splash

Chance The Rapper Donates Over $1 Million To Chicago Public Schools Chance the Rapper is still keeping up the momentum from his Friday evening meeting with the Governor of Illinois over the fate of severely underfunded Chicago Public Schools. After what he called a “disappointing” exchange with Governor Rauner, Chance vowed to bounce back on Monday with a plan of his own to help the school system: Chicago Public Schools and I did not lose today. The rapper held a press conference at Westcott Elementary School in Chicago on Monday afternoon to not only discuss the importance of and possibilities for education funding but to announce that he is personally making a $1 million donation to Chicago Public Schools. The news conference focused on what Chance called an “urgent need” to provide funding for Chicago schools, and glossed over his disappointment in the Governor’s stance on the matter, noting that Rauner was unwilling to budge on denying funding to the schools without pushing back with his own ultimatums. “Gov. Rauner can use his executive power to give Chicago’s children the resources they need to fulfill their God-given right to learn. Our talks were unsuccessful.” Great to see Chance taking matters into his own hands! Hopefully he can get someone in goverment on his side to follow suit. Splash
