Kanye West, 36, was the one who set up his soon-to-be sister-in-law Khloé Kardashian, 29, with baseball player Matt Kemp, also 29, in November, according to the December 30 issue of UsWeekly. ‘Matt’s manager is one of Kanye’s best friends,’ a source tells the magazine. ‘Kanye suggested his manager hook them up.’ Must be nice… Meanwhile Khloe was spotted shopping it up at Barney’s New York in Beverly Hills with Malika Haqq Friday — then hugging NBA baller Baron Davis on their way out of the store. The Kardashians Unveil 2013 Family Christmas Card The Kardashian crew has released their annual family Christmas card but there a few somebodies missing from the photo this year. via E! Online The Kardashian-Jenner crew has released their annual Christmas card! So, what did the family have in store this year? An intricate, high-fashion photo in which Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian Odom, Kourtney Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner and Bruce Jenner all strike poses in a ransacked, carnival-like room of sorts filled with dollar bills, a sparkling gold money sign, mannequins and photos of the family members, among many other things. The whole family is dressed in black, with Kim standing on a staircase in a cleavage baring, body-hugging dress, while Khloé lounges on a chair in a sparkly black dress with Kourtney’s son Mason draped in front of her. Kourtney, meanwhile, is standing near Khloé, holding her daughter Penelope, who wore a cream, flowy dress for the occasion. Kylie and Kendall strike fierce poses while standing on top of some of the dollar bills, with Kendall showing off her gorgeous gams in a high-cut dress and Kylie giving a smoldering look in back of her. Kim’s daughter North wasn’t in the shot and neither was her fiancé Kanye West. In fact, none of the guys were in the shot except for Bruce. Rob Kardashian, Kourtney’s boyfriend Scott Disick and Khloe’s husband Lamar Odom were all missing from the family photo. Kim, Kanye and baby North will reportedly be posing for their own family card separately, so that KIND of explains why Yeezy and little Nori are M.I.A….but what about Rob, Scott and Lamar? While there hasn’t been word yet on the real reasons why the fellas were left out this year, the obvious speculations would be that Rob is still struggling with his weight issues, Scott is STILL not a fiance…..and Khloe and Lamar really are heading for splitsville . As RadarOnline.com has extensively reported, Khloe and the basketball star have been on the rocks for months due to his [alleged] chronic infidelity and drug problems. “I’m at war with myself,” Khloe told E!’s cameras about her relationship. “I want to help him but maybe sometimes the best help is stepping away.” And, in the final line on KUWTK’s season 8 ender, a devastated Khloe commented, “I just feel like I might need some more help so I have to kind of tell my family.” On Sunday night’s episode, Khloe poured her heart out to brother Rob Kardashian, who had been living with his sister and Lamar and privy to their marital woes. Khloe Hints At Lamar’s Drug Problem On TV Lamar is taking sobriety tests to stay with Khloe when he needs to be hiring a lawyer…those sneaky Kardashians will take him to the cleaners. According to the Huffington Post: Things could be coming to a head in Khloe Kardashian’s marriage to Lamar Odom, and it’s bleeding into “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.” This week, their marital issues were all over the place, and yet they still weren’t being addressed directly, which The Stir’s Rebecca Stokes found “awkward.” It was widely reported over the summer that the NBA star was struggling with substance abuse, but that was neither confirmed nor denied on the show. What we did get was a lot of what the situation has been like for Khloe. “Lamar has been having a really tough time lately, and it’s not just black and white. There’s a lot of emotional issues,” Khloe said. “It’s really scary when nothing’s really working and then you know, if you give up, no one in his life would be able to help.” At one point, Khloe was seen defending drug addiction to Bruce Jenner, calling it a disease. As for Lamar, he was acting paranoid, calling Bruce’s phone to check that Khloe was where she said she was, among other strange actions. Reality Wanted’s Jessica Blackwell stated the obvious: something isn’t right with Lamar. “I’ve been down this road way more times that I would probably like to admit,” Khloe said. She admitted that she couldn’t control Lamar. If he wanted to leave, he could leave. Hollywood Life’s Chloe Melas added that Khloe “was finally spotted without her wedding ring on Nov. 2. In photos uploaded to the social sharing site, BuzzSky, the NBA player is seen with the entire Kardashian clan in the VIP section. “Lamar walked into the arena to huge cheers,” an eyewitness tells People. Another eyewitness says Kris Jenner gave him a big hug. Lamar was around Khloe most of the time and at one point it looks like they were dancing together. A source in Lamar’s inner circle tells Hollyscoop that Lamar is finally trying to make his way back into her life. “He’s trying to work things out with Khloe,” says the source, “He’s taking things slowly and trying to prove to Khloe that she can trust him again.” We honestly thought that Khloe and Lamar were done for good and that divorce was just days away, but our source insists that Lamar wants back in Khloe’s life.
