ESPN’s Ohm Youngmisuk and Dave McMenamin and Tarek Fattal of the Los Angeles Daily News are reporting both LeBron James Jr. (14) and Zaire Wade will be taking their talents to Sierra Canyon next fall. Bronny, when he arrives, will be a freshman while Wade who is currently attending American Heritage School in Plantation, Fla. will be a senior. James’ younger son Bryce James will also be following his brother to the school which enrolls students starting from preschool to 12th grade. The Los Angeles Daily News reported that LeBron James took a tour of the school during spring break fueling rumors of his arriving there. The decision to enroll both Bronny and Bryce in Sierra Canyon was purely a basketball decision for his kids per ESPN . The school is no stranger to basketball royalty either. NBA Champion and Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen’s son Scotty Pippen Jr., as well as Kenyon Martin’s son KJ Martin, had impressive seasons leading the school to back-to-back CIF State Open Division titles. Pippen and Martin both have committed to Vanderbilt where for NBA star Jerry Stackhouse is the head coach and will look to further the young hooper’s careers. As for D-Wade and LeBron James, the two have been looking forward to spending more time with each other again. Wade has plenty of free time on his hands now that he has retired and both himself and his wife Gabrielle Union plan to be in Los Angeles more now that his professional basketball playing days are over. Speaking with the Sports Inquirer , last December James added: “I told him, ‘No one likes to work out by themselves. So he can come to Staples. He can come to the practice facility anytime he wants to get workouts in. He can come help me with the young guys as well. As you've likely heard by now, Jenelle Evans has lost custody of her kids following a shocking chain of events. It all started when Evans' husband, David Eason, shot and killed the family dog . This prompted a CPS investigation that revealed deplorable living conditions on the property that Jenelle and David have obnoxiously dubbed “The Land.” Now, the three children who were still under the care of Evans and Eason (the couple had already lost custody of two other kids) have been placed in safer environments pending further investigation. In an exclusive statement issued to The Hollywood Gossip , Jenelle vowed to get her kids back — but is that even possible? Sadly, yes. And here is how she could do it: 1. The Non-Mom Longtime Teen Mom 2 viewers were not exactly shocked when Jenelle lost custody, as well-documented reports of drug use, child neglect, violent outbursts, and other erratic behavior have been following Evans for years. 2. Domino Effect But despite all of the negative press and the many, many police reports against Jenelle, it wasn’t until David killed Jenelle’s French bulldog that local authorities really took action. 3. Putting David Above Her Kids When it became evident that Jenelle would not be leaving David and, thus, that her kids would remain in a house with a violent psychopath, CPS acted quickly. 4. At Last An investigation was launched, and the kids were promptly removed from the home and placed with relatives. 5. A Broken Family 2-year-old Ensley is now living with Jenelle’s mother; 4-year-old Kaiser has been placed with his father; and 11-year-old Maryssa resides with her maternal grandmother. 6. Look, Jenelle Evans isn’t exactly in the best place she’s ever been right now. In fact, this may be the lowest point ever for her. Which is really saying something, considering she got pregnant as a teenager with a guy that quickly left her, then lost custody of her baby, then went on to get arrested like a dozen times and also to develop a heroin addiction. Jenelle’s definitely seen some bad times, but somehow, what’s going on now seems way, way worse than anything she’s faced before. Earlier this month, CPS removed all the children from the home she shares with David Eason after that jackass swamp monster killed her dog. Kaiser went to Nathan, Maryssa went to her grandmother, and Ensley ended up with Barbara. Just for good measure, CPS also made sure Barbara knew to keep Jace home from any scheduled visits with Jenelle. Obviously Jenelle and David weren’t crazy about all of that, so they immediately went to court to get their kids back. After two weeks and four separate court dates, the judge finally decided this week that no, they would not be getting their kids back . Not for now, anyway. The children’s current guardians now officially have temporary custody, and there’s reportedly another court date next week to figure out what will be required of Jenelle and David to be reunited with their kids. Some reports say that they’ll need to go to parenting classes and therapy and that they’ll also have to pass weekly drug tests, others say that nothing has been decided yet. Either way, they’ll definitely have to put in some serious work to prove that they can provide a good home for their kids, and it will likely be months, at least, before they can even hope to get them back. It’s a lot to take in, right? Yesterday, we got Jenelle’s first official statement after losing custody — she said that she’s been doing what her lawyer has asked, and that “I don’t want to speak publicly on the matter currently as that will jeopardize the possibilities of getting my kids back.” “I love my kids so much and I will do anything necessary to get them back and that is all I want everyone to understand,” she continued. “I ask everyone to have an open heart before they judge how the media is portraying me.” She finished her statement with “I love being a mother and David and I will get through this. We are staying strong and united.” And now, at long last, Farrah Abraham is making her statement about Jenelle and David losing custody. Hasn’t that been all anyone’s been waiting for? Farrah gave her statement to Hollywood Life, and she kicked it off with “After losing their kids — and now, they need to take parenting classes, drug tests and therapist — I would say all the moms on Teen Mom need to take parenting courses and all of the above.” Yeah, hope you were hungry, because Farrah brought her famous word salad to the party. “It’s sad for Jenelle,” Farrah said. “She chooses fame and attention before her kids.” “No more crying police calls, recording a man treating you bad — she needs to learn to value herself.” “I feel bad for how broken she is,” she concluded. Is it just us, or does that last part of Farrah’s statement make perfect sense? Because Jenelle does need to learn to value herself — maybe then she could find the strength to leave David and get her kids back. Unfortunately, she has already established a pattern for this sort of thing. Jenelle has always been with abusive men, and after she signed over custody of Jace to her mother when he was just an infant, she focused on those men instead of getting herself in a position to get her son back. She lived through those legendary Keiffer days, got engaged to Gary, got married to Courtland, got with Nathan and had Kaiser, then got with David and had Ensley … all while speaking in vague terms about getting Jace. For several years she didn’t even try to do anything with the custody situation, and years later when she finally had the chance to fight for him, she agreed that Barbara should have full, permanent custody . Is that what’s going to happen again? Will she and David be unable to get themselves together long enough to meet the judge’s requirements for reunification until the judge just decides the kids are stable where they are and shouldn’t be moved again? Will she spend the next several years trying to make everyone else into the villains who are stealing her children when really she’ll only have herself to blame? Now that Teen Mom 2 fans have seen David Eason's verbal abuse at Jenelle Evans , it's even harder to understand why they're together. He cost her her job. He brutally murdered her dog. She's separated from her kids because the court (very correctly) feels that a house occupied by a violent maniac isn't a healthy environment for children. Why in the world is Jenelle choosing a hateful oaf over her own children? What kind of mother would do that? But some feel that Jenelle may be just another of David's victims — and doesn't feel free to “choose” anything. Has he really brainwashed her to the point where she can't even protect her own kids? The arguments are, we have to say, pretty compelling. 1. How should we feel about Jenelle Evans? Right now, she appears to be choosing a violent maniac over her own children. Friends and fans alike are horrified by her unthinkable, misplaced loyalty. 2. David Eason is bad news Like so many of the men from Jenelle’s past, David has a criminal history — in fact, he spent time behind bars for allegedly violating a protective order against a woman who accused him of abuse. 3. A few weeks ago, things got worse David Eason accused Jenelle’s small dog, Nugget, of being a “danger” to his daughter after Nugget nipped at her. He took Nugget outside, brutally attacked, and then shot the poor dog. The horror of that has kept some of us awake at night. 4. At first, Jenelle’s response was appropriate She kept him at a distance, she is reportedly the one who dialed 911 to report what he had done. 5. She even wrote a mournful post Jenelle was heartbroken, as anyone who isn’t a complete monster like David would be, by the abrupt and grisly murder of her dog. Fans hoped that the one silver lining of this nightmare would be that Jenelle would leave David and keep her children, her remaining animals, and herself safe from him. 6. But then, she changed her tune Suddenly, Jenelle was back with David. Columbus County’s sheriff was upfront about identifying David as being “the most dangerous man in three counties,” but admitted that his hands were tied unless Jenelle would cooperate. View Slideshow
Well, here’s a development we certainly didn’t anticipate. In recent months, any new news surrounding the corrosive relationship between Jenni Farley and her ex-husband Roger Mathews has been bad news. The trouble started last year when Farley announced her divorce from Mathews . At first, the split seemed to have taken place on amicable — if not mutual — terms. Roger wasn’t happy about the end of his marriage — in fact, he posted several videos in which he begged Jenni to take him back — but it seemed there was no bad blood between the exes. Then the truth came out. Farley filed for a restraining order against Mathews and video that seemed to show Roger physically assaulting Jenni surfaced online. Since then, Jenni has not held back in depicting Roger as a terrible husband and an even worse father. Just last month, she accused Mathews of ditching his kids so he could go party. Now, Roger has posted a video in which he responds to the months and months of negative press — but it’s not at all what we would’ve expected: Roger Mathews: Jenni Farley Is the Best Mom! “Happy Memorial Day everyone,” Mathews began his lengthy caption to the video. “There seems to be an overflow of negative comments both toward me and toward Jenni on many of my posts still. I’m a big boy and a proud supporter of free speech, I can take it,” he continued. “Jenni also has tough skin and can take it however the comments as to who the better parent is, or who spends more time our children are unnecessary.” Yes, it seems Roger is subtly acknowledging the criticism Jenni endured for spending Memorial Day Weekend with her new boyfriend Zack Carpinello . From there, he addresses his past wrongdoing and makes it clear he’s putting his kids’ needs first going forward: “I accept my responsibility in the divide I caused In the eyes of the public but I’ll always post about my children and if we can move past the negativity certainly it wouldn’t be too much to ask for everyone else to,” Mathews wrote. “We both love our children emphatically and always will,” he concluded. “It takes far more effort and energy to be negative than it does to be positive. Enjoy this beautiful day.” The clip itself shows Roger arriving home at night with his children in tow. While it might be possible to interpret the post as a sort of humblebrag — Mathews’ way of touting what a stand-up guy he is by defending his ex as he cares for his kids over the holiday weekend — that doesn’t appear to be the case. Rather, it seems both Roger and Jenni are doing their best to move on from their messy split. Recently, Mathews even referred to Carpinello as “a terrific guy.” Obviously, this is no guarantee that Jenni and Roger won’t lock horns in the months and years to come. Puma has revealed plans to release a collaboration with the proceeds going towards Nipsey’s children. The Blast reports : During the Wall Street Journal’s “Future of Everything Festival” in NYC, Puma executive Adam Petrick was leading a talk with brand ambassador, G-Eazy, when the news was revealed. Nipsey and Puma had been in a partnership before his murder, and Petrick said the, “The concept of working with Nipsey just made sense.” Petrick revealed that Puma still had unfinished business with Nipsey, and that they will continue to release product that he was associated with. “We had a lot of things that were coming, and hopefully a lot of things we will still do with his estate. On this week’s holiday weekend episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, various key family members took a close look at Kris Jenner’s long-time boyfriend and asked a very simple question. But also a very important one. And it went something like this… … WHO THE HECK IS COREY GAMBLE?!? The Corey-themed drama kicked off on Sunday evening when Kanye West woke the 38-year-old with a series of texts at 6 in the morning, alleging Gamble of being withholding. Of being purposely mysterious, basically The rapper wasn’t actually present for filming, but Kim Kardashian filled the audience in on what was going on. “Kanye texts Corey something along the lines of, ‘Look, we don’t know you. We’ve never met any of your family members,'” she said on air. Did she agree with her husband? Perhaps not with the delivery, but, yes, Kim was on board with Kanye’s overall sentiment. “I mean, of course we’ve all felt that way and thought that,” Kim told the camera about the man who’s been dating her mother for years now. And Khloe concurred. “I agree with that statement from Kanye. We don’t know anything about Corey like that,” said Khloe, noting later that her Gamble “does tend to be pretty secretive,” despite past attempts to get to know him better, explaining: “He has not been receptive in this whole thing. So, me and all of the kids, we just…we’ve been more on guard with Corey.” As you might expect, meanwhile, Kris wasn’t happy with all these questions and accusations floating around about her lover. The matriarch and manager thought the text ambush (and discussion that motivated it) was “rude” and asked her family not to “talk sh-t to Kanye” about her partner anymore. From there, the installment proceeded to take a turn for the extra awkward when Khloe and BFF Malika Haqq arrived for a girls’ weekend at Jenner’s Palm Springs compound… … only to discover that Corey was unexpectedly joining them. They weren’t psyched about this. Khloe appeared frustrated in a testimonial saying: “Coming off of the talk about Kanye and Corey, I can’t believe my mom never gave me a heads up that Corey’s here.” But Gamble did his best to calm tensions down, telling Khloe over dinner: “I know a person like me gets criticized for not talking about other peoples’ business. Or people will call you mysterious if you don’t talk a lot. “I’ve been so sacred in a lot of significant peoples’ lives and I don’t talk about it, but it’s not my place to talk about it.” Khloe didn’t respond in a positive manner, however, prompting Kris to pay Khloe a visit at her home a couple days later. “I want you to recognize that when you do question my relationship with Corey, this isn’t OK and it hurts feelings,” she said, adding in a confessional that Khloe needs to “get on [her] bandwagon” because Corey isn’t going anywhere. “I think that sometimes what you guys don’t realize is that Corey is really taking care of me. Like no one ever has in my entire life.” This message finally resonated with Khloe, who made nice toward the end of the episode with Gamble. “We just want to say we’re sorry if we’ve ever been distant,” Khloe told him. “We’re happy you make our mom happy and we just want to move forward in a good place.” And that was all it took! Jenelle, as you surely know, has had all of her children removed from her home while police investigate her creeper husband, David Eason, after he beat and killed her dog . So if you were in her position, you’d probably be hysterical, right? You’d probably be divorcing your husband for ruining your life and being a genuine monster and doing everything in your power to get your kids back. Feelings of guilt would creep in, too — you know, that good old-fashioned mom guilt. But don’t worry, because Jenelle’s got this covered, dude. She’s not leaving David, she’s not worried about the kids, and she’s definitely not worried about being a bad mother. Rumor has it that on Tuesday, the judge in Jenelle’s custody case will make the final decision for where the kids will go next — whether they’ll go back to the swamp or stay with their temporary guardians. So what did she do on Friday, the last court date before the big decision? She went home early because she wasn’t feeling well, missing an hour of supervised visitation with the children. That can’t be a good look, right? That she can’t even bother to have a visit with her kids during this very serious time? Well, it gets worse! An insider spoke with Hollywood Life about what’s been going on with Jenelle behind the scenes, and it’s .. well, it’s just as depressing as you’d think. As the source tells it, “Jenelle has no intention of leaving David and is working with her lawyers on fighting this case no matter what.” “Jenelle doesn’t know what she’d do without David by her side right now because he has been a huge support system, and she’s leaning on him more than ever now.” Several sources have claimed that she was told that if she’d just leave David, even just for right now, she could get the kids back, because it’s his fault they’re in this position in the first place . But sure, she needs him for support in dealing with things that he did. Sure. This insider also says that Jenelle “knows she’s an amazing mom, and she loves her kids, and will do anything to get them back.” Uh … OK. “But Jenelle doesn’t feel she has to leave David to do so, and is prepared to do whatever it takes to get her family back together again.” And hey, “if that means a lengthy court battle then so be it, she is ready for whatever she needs to do.” Another source adds that “Jenelle is not showing any signs of turning on David . If anything, this seems to have them closer because they are now working together to do everything they can to get back custody of the kids.” “Whatever anyone might think of Jenelle, those kids mean everything to her, they’re her world and she’s fighting like hell to get this overturned, she won’t stop until she gets her kids back,” the source says. “Jenelle and David are very united on wanting that.” This person goes on to explain that “having everyone shaming David and blaming him is not helping because that always just makes Jenelle more isolated and more dependent on him.” “So the people in her life that care about her are being very cautious with everything they say. No one wants to risk saying the wrong thing and upsetting Jenelle more.” Speaking of getting upset, a third insider chimed in to say that ” Jenelle has considered leaving David multiple times , but he has a way of talking Jenelle out of it easily and somehow manages to keep her around.” Sadly enough, “it’s also obvious that she is scared to leave him because although Jenelle loves and cares for David, deep down, she is scared what could happen if she does.” “Jenelle knows deep down that David has dangerous tendencies due to his behavior and past and there is a real fear that he could hurt her.” But as is the case with so many abusive relationships, “she swears she loves him and says that’s why she’s continued to stay with him.” “She has legitimately said they have a strong marriage, which friends feel is so sad. They really feel for Jenelle and hope she can find the strength to leave.” If all of this is true, then it seems like Jenelle is in deep, deep denial about pretty much everything. She’s not being a good mother, David isn’t helping her, and they definitely don’t have a strong marriage. We really don’t understand how she can believe he even loves her, given all he’s done.
