What the hell was this fool on?? According to WPXI , this dad of the year found a creative way of breaking in and copped all of his kids gifts!?!?! A Uniontown man is facing burglary charges after police said he broke into his children’s home and stole several things, including Christmas presents. Police said Amanda Miller came home about 5 p.m. Friday and saw Myron Rose, 33, running from her Cinder Road home carrying a large bag. Channel 11’s Courtney Brennan reported Miller was able to identify Rose because he is her ex-boyfriend and the father of two of her three children. Miller alerted police and officers arrested Rose a few days later. Inside the bag detectives said they found electronics, jewelry and several Christmas presents. “We’ll never get that stuff back,” the children’s great-grandmother said about the Christmas gifts. Police told Brennan that Rose broke into the mobile home by climbing underneath and digging a hole through the floor. “What kind of person would make a hole in the floor and break in a house to steal his own kids’ Christmas presents?” the great-grandmother said. Rose is facing burglary, criminal trespassing, theft by unlawful taking and criminal mischief charges. He remains in jail on $50,000 bond. “When the guys down at the prison find out what he did, they don’t take kindly to people who steal from kids,” the great-grandmother said. Drugs will make people do some crazy things. Images via shutterstock

Is Badu just salty Jay has moved on to that filthy rich white lady or did she want the whole world to know she doesn’t want pictures of her kids floating around? Jon Gosselin won’t be seeing his kids on Christmas, because according to mother Kate Gosselin, the kids are now old enough to choose – and THEY CHOSE HER! “They’re at the age now where we ask them,” Kate told omg! Yahoo. “So they basically dictate it and they want to be home Christmas and the days surrounding it.” Kate, 37, has primary custody of their eight offspring, but the kids have typically spent Christmas Eve with Jon Gosselin and then Christmas Day with her. Not the case here in 2012. No word on what Kate, who was recently offered a nude TV show , plans on getting the kids this year, or whether her nemesis Robert Hoffman will be attending. Adam Levine has put Honey Boo Boo on blast. Move over, American Idol , MTV, Fox News and The Roxy ; The outspoken Maroon 5 singer and Voice coach is voicing his opinion on the TLC reality star, and his opinion isn’t good. “Seriously, Honey Boo Boo is the decay of Western civilization,” he says in the latest GQ . “Just because so many people watch a show doesn’t mean it’s good.” “So many people witness atrocities and can’t take their eyes away, but that doesn’t mean they’re good. That show is literally The. Worst. Thing. That’s. Ever. Happened.” Not a lot of wiggle room to backtrack that statement, but clearly Levine won’t be doing that, as he actually grew even more heated when discussing HBB. “It’s complete f-cking ignorance and the most despicable way to treat your kids,” he said. “F-ck those people. You can put that in the magazine: F-ck those idiots. They’re just the worst. Sorry, I’m so sensitive to that — like, I don’t know, man, it’s upsetting.” “Just to clarify, I said, ‘F-ck those people!'” Consider it clarified, man. Duly noted. Adam Levine , 33, isn’t the only star who takes issue with Alana Thompson, 7 and her Georgia-based family, which average 2.3 million viewers a week for TLC. He is, however, now the most vocal, unabashed and passionate opponent of all things Here Comes Honey Boo Boo in all of western civilization. We challenge anyone to take his crown after this tirade. What’s your take on Honey Boo Boo and family? Love ’em! Hate ’em! Love to hate ’em! View Poll »
This guy is as gross as they get: A local elementary school teacher was arrested Friday morning on felony charges involving allegedly luring children online. Suspect John Kinloch, 41, is a first grade teacher at Wolf Canyon Elementary in Chula Vista. He’s been teaching for the past 14 years. Federal agents believe the veteran teacher lured children online in order to obtain nude pictures of minors. Kinloch is now being held at San Diego Central Jail on three felonies involving minors. On Friday, the Chula Vista Elementary School District handed out 900 letters informing parents of Kinloch’s arrest. The letter reassured parents that none of their students were targeted and none of the alleged crimes were committed on campus. The news left both the school district and parents in disbelief. “It hurts me that the kids have established a relationship with this teacher, so I’m really going to be asking some questions,” said Wolf Canyon parent Denise Roldan. “My kids [have] only mentioned him a couple of times. They say he was a cool teacher; kids were really happy with him.” Anthony Millican of the Chula Vista Elementary School District said Kinloch’s arrest came as a complete surprise, especially since there were never any red flags concerning the teacher. “There’s nothing in the individual’s file to indicate anything of this nature, thus [we’re feeling] a sense of surprise and concern and shock,” said Millican. The Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force says Kinloch posed as a 13-year-old girl online. He has allegedly been in contact with boys between the ages of 12 and 16, getting them to send him nude photographs and videos. In addition, Kinloch is accused of selling or sending the obscene materials. Now, the well-liked teacher is under investigation and on administrative leave from his position. “Anyone who harms children isn’t someone we want in our system,” said Millican. Kinloch’s neighbors say the teacher was not married, lived at home with his mother and generally kept to himself. He’s scheduled to appear in court and face a judge on Dec. 7. youtube ABC7
The Real Housewives of Miami share their families as the “Parents Fly South” to visit. We recap who was gracious and who’s making their daughter-in-law’s life Hell in our THG +/- review. Lea throws son RJ a birthday bash at her Star Island abode. It’s become the party place and the 11 year old tells his friends they can wreck it if they want to since they really don’t live there. Minus 10 . As if all of the kids running around aren’t enough to make Lisa feel like the only childless person in the room, her in-laws fly in for a visit. Lenny’s momma has her own key to the house and has no trouble letting herself in and making herself right at home. Damn. Minus 25. Lisa really needs to set some boundaries. Imagine how much worse it might be if there was actually a grandchild to visit. Lisa’s under a lot of pressure to produce a child. Minus 20 . You’d think her husband and in-laws would have a little more sympathy. The poor woman has had three miscarriages. It’s not like she’s not trying. As a matter of fact she heads out to have acupuncture as part of her fertility therapy even though she hates needles but all of this stress really can’t be helping anything. Marysol invites Elaine over to sit down and talk. Plus 12 for attempting to broker some peace. Marysol admits she likes James but the Elaine persona is a bit obnoxious and she apologizes for any bad blood between them. Unfortunately, Elaine doesn’t seem to care. I don’t see these two going out for a girls night any time soon. Ana’s still ticked off at Marysol but she’s got bigger issues. Why haven’t Ana and Rob made it official and signed the divorce papers? They’re both dating other people. So why is his laundry being done at her house? Minus 9 . That’s just strange. Joanna, Romain, Lisa and Lenny invite Karent and Rodolfo out so the group can assess the Latin soap star. No one can really get a read on Rodolfo. I’m with Joanna. My gut feeling is this guy’s not sticking around for the wedding and babies that Karent’s so desperate for. Minus 10 . Joanna’s mom comes to visit and she seems nice and down to earth but she worries that her unhappy marriage has affected Joanna. Minus 10 . She might be right. Plus 15 because she agrees that her daughter can be evil when she drinks. Hopefully Joanna can make the commitment to lay off the alcohol. Finally Frederic’s parents fly in from Paris. It’s the couple’s 50th wedding anniversary and they are absolutely charming. Plus 20. Adriana would be lucky to have them as in-laws, if only she could get out of her own way. The anniversary party is lovely. Plus 12 . That vintage Dior dress looks equally lovely. Plus 15. But what is up with Lea’s necklace? Minus 13. It looked like something Wilma Flintstone would wear to a party. If Lea fell into the pool those rocks could drown her. In the end, Lisa won the award for craziest in-laws. Adriana could be the one to get lucky if she doesn’t lose Frederic first, and Joanna and Romain end up somewhere in the middle. EPISODE TOTAL: -23! SEASON TOTAL: -301!
Spike Lee ‘s Oldboy is getting some bad ass company in the Park Chan-Wook remake business, as the Korean director’s ultraviolent femme-fronted Sympathy For Lady Vengeance , the third pic in Park’s Vengeance trilogy, will be remade into a Charlize Theron -fronted Americanized adaptation by Departed writer William Monahan. Theron (who will star and produce under her Denver & Delilah Films banner) joins forces with Oscar-winning screenwriter Monahan and superproducer Megan Ellison, arguably the ballsiest financier around; the actress has been trying to make Lady Vengeance for a few years now, but this update indicates it’s finally coming together. “This will be very American — and very unexpected,” Monahan said as the project was announced. “Park is a genius; it’s the Everest of adaptations and I’ve got blood in my teeth to do it.” I’ve got blood in my teeth to do it, Monahan says. IN A PRESS RELEASE. I’m usually skeptical when it comes to remakes — especially remakes of movies that are pretty awesome and bold in their original versions — but I can’t wait to see what he puts on the page. Watch the trailers for the original Lady Vengeance (English version and Korean version both below): Thoughts, Vengeance -lovers?

With the post-Thanksgiving and post–Black Friday hangover still lingering, it’s a pretty slow week for new DVD releases. Since we’re entering the Christmas season, however, there’s no better time to find Highs and Lows among holiday films (while also sneakily reminding you of my film guide Have Yourself a Movie Little Christmas , which makes a great stocking stuffer). So if you’re feeling worldly, spend Noel with some extremely unhappy French folks. Otherwise, pop some Ro-Tel and Velveeta in the crock pot and enjoy the holiday hi-jinks of America’s favorite rubber-faced redneck. HIGH: A Christmas Tale (The Criterion Collection; DVD/Blu-Ray, $39.95) WHO’S RESPONSIBLE: Written by Arnaud Desplechin and Emmanuel Bourdieu; directed by Desplechin; starring Catherine Deneuve , Mathieu Amalric, Anne Consigny, Melvil Poupaud, Chiara Mastroianni. WHAT’S IT ALL ABOUT: Matriarch Junon (Deneuve) needs a bone marrow transplant, and while this is usually a procedure where parents donate to children, Junon figures that she gave her kids life and now it’s time for them to repay the debt. The search for a donor means that black-sheep son Henri (Amalric) is coming home for Christmas for the first time in years, where he clashes with sister Elizabeth (Consigny), who essentially had him banished from the family for his shady financial machinations. WHY IT’S SCHMANCY: The “mommy dies at Christmas” genre is an ever-more-crowded one, but there’s no easy sentimentality from Desplechin. Junon is haughty and prickly — her barbed exchanges with Henri are classic — and this family tapestry is woven with such care and intelligence that you may find your allegiances shifting from viewing to viewing. I also admire a movie that casually drops cultural references to everything from Nietzsche to Cecil B. DeMille’s The Ten Commandments . WHY YOU SHOULD BUY IT: This 2008 import (original title: Un conte de Noël ) has become one of my annual screening rituals. It’s funny, moving, thought-provoking and endlessly fascinating. And since this is a Criterion release, there are some great extras, including L’aimee , a short film by Desplechin (in which he and his father go through their old family home) that inspired the feature. LOW: Ernest Saves Christmas (Touchstone Home Entertainment; DVD $9.99) WHO’S RESPONSIBLE: Written by B. Kline and Ed Turner; directed by John Cherry; starring Jim Varney, Douglas Seale, Oliver Clark, Noelle Parker. WHAT IT’S ALL ABOUT: Cab driver Ernest P. Worrell (Varney) gets involved when Santa (Seale) travels to Orlando to hand the keys to his workshop over to kids-show host Joe Carruthers (Clark) — who thinks the old man is a lunatic. Besides, Joe’s more concerned about making the leap to the big screen, even though what he thinks is a family film called Santa’s Sleigh winds up being something far darker. Can Ernest and plucky orphan Harmony (Parker) appeal to Joe’s better nature and save the holiday? WHY IT’S FUN: From local TV spots to stardom on the big and small screens, the character of Ernest is something of an acquired taste. But it’s hard not to be won over by Ernest Saves Christmas , which features some of Varney’s most inspired shtick, from destroying the always-unseen Vern’s house to dressing in drag as the mother of Joe’s agent. There are also appearances by legendary comic second bananas Bille Bird and Gailard Sartain. Before you scoff too much, see the movie. WHY YOU SHOULD BUY IT: Hey, Disney! What’s with Ernest Scared Stupid getting a Blu-Ray release and not Ernest Saves Christmas ? Someone at the Mouse House should be getting coal in their stocking for this one.
