Apparently her utilities just got shut off and the poor thang had to move out?!?! Rumors have been swirlin’ since Deion’s been fighting his questionable child support amount but if this isht is true, it’s another grimy azz move on his part…or is it? Sources have said that the former Football Wives star has been forced to move out of her house, because the electricity and gas have been shut off for lack of payment. The model, who is locked in a nasty divorce with former NFL player Deion Sanders, is having a hard time making ends meet, according to her publicist Kali Bowyer. Pilar’s attorneys filed an emergency request to get Deion to continue with his support payments. According to court documents obtained by RumorFix, Deion makes $161,565.25 a month and is worth $250 million. His attorneys are claiming the $10,500 in child support is extreme and six times what everyone else in Texas pays. Plus, they claim paying the utilities is not a child support expense. Do you have any sympathy for Pilar or is it time for her to step it up a little bit so she can make sure her kids lights and heat don’t get turned off??? Images via twitter
Barnabas Collins has risen from the grave once more via the Blu-Ray and DVD release of Tim Burton’s film adaptation of Dark Shadows , and so has spirited argument over who created the tortured vampire back in the 1960s. Johnny Depp’s interpretation of the fanged fan favorite originated by Jonathan Frid may have been D.O.A. at the box office, but, 45 years after Collins debuted on the gothic ABC soap opera and became a cult icon, the squabbling over his invention just won’t die. Alas, one of the writers is not around to make his case. A 2009 Variety obituary for Ron Sproat, who wrote for Dark Shadows from November 1966 to February 1969, credits him with creating Barnabas, and in a 2008 interview with the blog Strange Paradise, another writer for the show, Joe Caldwell, said that the show’s executive producer Dan Curtis personally asked him and Sproat to develop the character. Enter former Dark Shadows writer Malcolm Marmorstein, who insists that Curtis gave him the task of creating Collins. Marmorstein, who is credited with writing the episode in which Barnabas’ arm first shoots out of his coffin, joined the daytime serial in December 1966 after working as head writer of the successful NBC soap, The Doctors . He says Dark Shadows was in danger of cancellation, and he recommended that adding a supernatural element to the series would boost ratings. Specifically, he suggested to Curtis that the character of Laura Collins be turned into a phoenix, who every 100 years would die by fire and then be reborn. The phoenix concept debuted on December 21, 1966 and ratings soon improved. A few months later, Marmorstein says, Curtis asked him to work a vampire into the storyline. “I told Dan, ‘Absolutely, but we need different ground rules. No one in the town of Collinsport has heard of Dracula. They wouldn’t recognize Bela Lugosi. We have to pretend we’re doing a vampire for the very first time. Let’s get a young, blond guy, because our audiences are very young. They’ll fall in love with him.’” Instead, the dark-haired, sad-eyed Frid was hired and Marmorstein says the Shakespearean actor’s resemblance to Lugosi unnerved him. “I told him, ‘Don’t act. Be a nice man, as you are. This is your family in the house, and you’ve got to be charming for them.” (Frid died in April, a month before Burton’s film was released). Caldwell tells a different version of events. “Just as we were leaving this story meeting, Dan said, ‘I want a vampire for the kids, for the summer,’” Caldwell remembers. “Ron and I got on the elevator, and by the time we got down to the street, we decided we would make him a reluctant vampire — that he had a conscience and yearned for love.” “That never happened!” responds Marmorstein. “That’s what I said to Dan, that Barnabas is reluctant. He doesn’t want to be a vampire.” Marmorstein also points out that Reluctant Vampire is actually the title of a play he wrote and then directed for the big screen as the 1993 feature Love Bites, starring Adam Ant. “Joe Caldwell never contributed to the creation of Barnabas,” Marmorstein says. “And Ron wasn’t a creative person. He was a burnt-out Ivy Leaguer who never did more than soap opera.” Caldwell and another writer on the show remember Marmorstein as a know-it-all who was more than a little possessive of Barnabas. “He could certainly be overfond of his ideas,” says Caldwell. Sam Hall, who joined the Dark Shadows writing staff in November 1967 and whose late wife, Grayson Hall, played Dr. Julia Hoffman on the show, says, “Malcolm was interested in vampires and gave the others lectures on how vampires behave. The other writers thought he was a pain in the ass, trying to take over.” “If the other writers said I was stubborn, maybe I was, because I was clinging to the truth and reality of the character,” Marmorstein replies. “If I built this thing up, and these guys come in and start throwing stupid ideas out, then naturally I’ll say no. Dan wanted more violence and that’s not what the show was about. It wasn’t blood and severed throats and slit guts.” Not surprisingly, tensions escalated between Curtis and Marmorstein, who was fired in August 1967 while he was vacationing with his family. (Marmorstein went on to work for Peyton Place and write screenplays for S*P*Y*S and Whiffs , which starred Elliott Gould, as well as Pete’s Dragon and Return from Witch Mountain . “I don’t think he contributed more than anyone else,” Dark Shadows producer Bob Costello says of Marmorstein. “He was part of a team and from that team came Barnabas. If he was as good as he seems to think he was, he wouldn’t have been fired.” Costello, Caldwell and Hall have been content to consign Dark Shadows to their past, Marmorstein felt compelled to offer his services when Burton decided to adapt the series into a feature. Marmorstein says he contacted producer David Kennedy via e-mail to no avail. (Kennedy declined to be interviewed, but said he had never met Marmorstein.) Marmorstein says he also sought to set up a meeting with Depp and his sister and co-producer Christi Dembrowski. Depp, who Marmorstein explains is a goof friend of his neighbor, initially seemed interested, but the sitdown never happened. (Dembrowski and Depp did not respond to requests for comment.) “ I thought they might be interested in some of the insights behind Barnabas, which they ignored totally,” Marmorstein says. “I was shocked to see, at the beginning of the movie, Barnabas killing seven or eight innocent people, who weren’t even trying to harm him. Barnabas would never do that. And I saw no reason whatsoever for the movie to be set in 1972. For nothing, I would have told them not to do that. It should have been set today.” Follow Movieline on Twitter.
No wonder the Jets ain’t isht… SMH. Via NYPost : Jets owner Woody Johnson was asked if it was more important for him that his team have a winning season or Romney wins next month’s presidential election. “I think you always have to put country first,” said Johnson, who is the chairman of Romney’s campaign in New York, on Bloomberg TV’s “Money Matters.” “I think it’s very, very important not only for us, but for our kids and grandkids that this election come off with Mitt Romney and Ryan as president and vice president.” Johnson vented his frustration with the Jets’ 34-0 loss to the 49ers on Sunday. “The coaches and I were not happy with what happened yesterday, and the players aren’t either,” Johnson said. “So our job now . . . we are still leading in the AFC East , but that performance was absolutely unacceptable.” Like his coach Rex Ryan, Johnson had to fend off questions about Tim Tebow replacing Sanchez as the team’s starting quarterback. “There’s going to be more pressure, but this quarterback can get the job done,” Johnson said. “He really can. He had a bad day, the whole team had a bad day. Receivers have to be in the right spot. A few plays here and there, which is the norm of football today that went against us . .. and it could have been a different game.” The question about the 2-2 Jets’ starting quarterback situation have grown as Sanchez has struggled the past three weeks after a stellar season opener against the Bills. “It doesn’t mean Tim Tebow is going to be starting next week, but it’s a question that’s going to be asked more frequently if this progresses because it’s unacceptable,” Johnson said. “We failed in all three areas — offense, defense, special teams — and we let our fans down.” Sounds like this guy is oblivious to the fact that BOTH his teams are losers. I don’t know you, but this is crazy…..here’s a dude in a car chase being covered by the local news….shooting himself in the fucking head. 1 – I hate suicide and think all people who commit suicide should be shot, but since they’ve already done it, and we can’t do it again, I feel their death should not be respected as they didn’t respect their own life. You see kids die of cancer everyday….none of them want to die….they want to be normal and playing with their friends….and here some cocksucker goes and disrespects their will to live by shitting on his own life…. I do it for the kids… 2- I hate putting death or gore videos on the site, cuz I like girls and babes and the nice side of life….and I also like hookers, addicts, poverty, white trash, retards and all other things I like laughing at…..but the reason I am posting it is cuz YOUTUBE did and so did FOX cuz the reporter’s reaction is fucking amazing….Live TV is the best. I do it for the comedic aspect to all the darkness…ya heard.
Do you think she did enough? Held hostage by her addict husband , Deanna DeJesus says she did everything she could in order to protect her children during a SWAT team standoff in their RV park. On Monday, Deanna DeJesus pleaded not guilty to aggravated manslaughter and child neglect in the attack that left her 9-year-old son dead, NBC Miami reports. The 7-year-old, along with the defendant herself, were both severely wounded. In early February, the 38-year-old woman told officials, her husband was struggling with withdrawal as he tried to free himself from an Oxycodone addiction, according to CBS. She said he drove her and their two sons into the car aimlessly before winding up at a Deerfield Beach RV park. Once there, William Dejesus entered an RV at random, forcing his family inside. He shot and killed the RV’s owner, 76-year-old Ovila Plante, and then held Plante’s 72-year-old girlfriend, Pierrette Beauchemin, at gunpoint. The 41-year-old man then barricaded himself, the girlfriend, and his own family inside the RV. William DeJesus called 911 just after shooting Plante, WSVN reported, claiming the man attacked him and he “had to hijack a lady.” When a SWAT team arrived, William DeJesus called 911 again, warning that he was going to shoot himself and his kids. “They want to eat them,” he told officers, though it is not clear who the father meant by “they.” He also reportedly told the boys that the SWAT team was going to eat them…William Dejesus stabbed every member of his family before killing himself with the knife. His 9-year-old son, who had autism, died from the attack. Now, Deanna DeJesus is facing up to 45 years in prison for not protecting the boys. Prosecutors claim that the woman calmly held a child in each arm while her husband asked her which he should kill first. All the mother was able to say in court was that she couldn’t make such a choice, according to the Sun Sentinel. Her 7-year-old son told investigators that because his mother wasn’t doing anything, he had grabbed a knife in an attempt to save his brother. However, his father regained control of the knife and stabbed him several times. Deanna DeJesus said that she did not fight her husband because she knew she would be hurt if she did, according to WIOD. Additionally, her attorney noted that after DeJesus’ husband stabbed her in the lung, she was physically unable to defend her children. As sad of a story as this is…do you think she should be held responsible for doing “what she could” to protect her kids?? Or should the prosecution be ashamed for putting a grieving Mother up on trial for murder? Source Images via youtube
What the hell is it with Florida and mothers doing crazy ish to their kids?? 14-Year Old Girl Admits To Choking New Born And Putting Him In Shoebox A Teenage girl in Florida who hid her pregnancy from her family has confessed to choking the newborn to death following his birth and then hiding his body in a shoebox. Polk County Sheriff’s detectives have charged a 14-year-old girl with first-degree murder and aggravated child abuse for allegedly choking her newborn baby to death. The girl, who was not named by authorities, was arrested Thursday night. Detectives say the girl hid her pregnancy from her family. She gave birth to a boy in the bathroom of her home on Sept. 19, then told detectives that she choked the baby and put him in a shoebox. The girl’s mother found the baby in the box, hidden in some laundry. She is being held at the Polk County Juvenile Detention Facility. It’s unclear whether she’s retained an attorney. How people can continue to do such horrible and sad things to defenseless babies is something that we will never understand. Image via Shutterstock

Promoting his new autobiography on 60 Minutes, Arnold Schwarzenegger discusses his betrayal of Maria Shriver … sort of. That’s not a word he would use apparently. Watch this preview of his sit-down with CBS’ Lesley Stahl, airing Sunday: Arnold on 60 Minutes “She gave up her television career for you,” the journalist said of Maria, who Arnold cheated on (and had a love child) with housekeeper Mildred Patricia Baena . “I mean, wow, was this the most unbelievable act of betrayal to Maria?” I mean, wow is right. No way around it … yet Arnold still dodged. “I think it was the stupidest thing I’ve done in the whole relationship,” he said. “It was terrible … I inflicted tremendous pain on Maria and unbelievable pain on the kids.” Crazier still, Shriver hasn’t even seen Schwarzenegger’s book . When Stahl asked if she knew what Arnold wrote, all he said was, “She knows it’s about my whole life” and that a book in which he omitted his indiscretions is “not the book I wanted to write.” Great.
The Real Housewives of Miami starts off with sun and fun and palm trees and ends with “A Mynt Meltdown” and one hot mess of a night. We recap all the tears, fears and accusations in our THG +/- review. The help plays a big role in the lives of the Housewives and sometimes it’s hard to figure out who works for whom. Lisa’s housekeeper/assistant/confidante Daysy’s main job seems to be to keep Lisa company. Minus 8. How much do they pay her for that? Of course Daysy’s working towards her bonus prize. A brand new body is hers once she sheds some pounds. Yes, working for the Boob god of Miami has its perks. Plus 10 Lea can do one better. She’s got Freda, her housekeeper who has two assistant housekeepers, her own guest house and even has Lea doing her hair. Plus 12. Here’s to enjoy the perks of one’s labor. But wait. What labor? It seems Freda doesn’t do much in the way of keeping house but the kids and the dogs love her so Lea pays for her room and board. Heck, Freda doesn’t even have a bathing suit unless Lea buys it for her. Is this her housekeeper or another one of Lea’s kids? Minus 15 . We barely see Rodolfo who is off somewhere filming his Latin soap opera. He tells Karent he doesn’t want to hear any more about these texting rumors. Yeah, I bet he doesn’t. Minus 7 . Ana’s working on her puffy eyes. It looks like she’s been crying after a fight with boyfriend Mark. He wants to know when her divorce will be finalized. Plus 12 . I don’t blame him. It’s been two years and Robert’s still hanging around the house reminding her that his new girlfriend is 15 years younger than her. Minus 15 . That means his girlfriend is probably closer to his daughter’s age than his. Elsa’s no where to be found in this episode but Marysol and drag queen Elaine have a tiff over whether or not Marysol kicked her off the red carpet last year. Minus 13 because nothing was really resolved and everyone just left fuming. Finally we come back around to Joanna and Romain. Romain becomes a US citizen and congrats to him. Plus 20. That’s a huge accomplishment. It’s also the ten year anniversary of his club Mynt which only makes me wonder how this club remains so successful in a hot spot like Miami where a club is old news a month after it opens. But Romain wants to celebrate his good fortune and all of the housewives are invited. Adriana flirts shamelessly with the guy who diligently tells her he only likes blondes. Specifically his blonde, Joanna. Plus 10 although he may rethink that before the night is over. Joanna has a few too many when she spots the club DJ who once dated, cheated on, and dumped Joanna’s sister Marta. Her reaction is over the top. The odd thing is that the bad break up took place quite a while ago and Joanna knew the guy still worked at Mynt. Why make a scene now on Romain’s big day? Minus 11 . Maybe she’s bored with Romain and trying to sabotage their relationship. Maybe she’s extremely sensitive where her sister is concerned. Or maybe she’s just nuts. Will this be the end of the road for this gorgeous Miami couple? Episode total = -5! Season total = -97!
