Jenelle Evans Goes to War With Animal Rights Activists: They’re Trying to Ruin My Life!

Jenelle Evans is no stranger to conflict. In fact, we're pretty sure online feuds are her primary motivation for waking up in the morning, Jenelle's beefs with her co-stars were the stuff of legend, and she's keeping those old animosities alive by posting clickbait articles about their personal lives on her Instagram page. But these days, Evans has an even more formidable foe in the form of an army of animal rights activists who want to make her pay for a shocking act of cruelty. Take a look: 1. Justice For Nugget Jenelle’s always had a lot of enemies, but she’s made even more in the months since her douche bag husband, David Eason, shot and killed her 11-pound French bulldog, Nugget. 2. What a Wuss Bid bad Dave apparently felt that Nugget was a dangerous threat to his family’s safety — a threat that could only be neutralized with the help of a shotgun. This guy’s idiocy is matched only by his cowardice. 3. Useless So Davey got scared and shot the dog, and Jenelle supported his actions, even though doing so cost her custody of her kids. 4. Correction We should say the decision cost Jenelle custody of MOST of her kids. She’s never had custody of her eldest son, 10-year-old Jace. 5. Desperate Times Jenelle is desperate to clear her name these days for the simple reason that if she loses her remaining fans, she might be forced to get a real job. 6. Let the Clickbait Begin Fortunately, she’s figured out an interesting win-win scenario: she gets paid to give interviews to tabloid outlets and post their stuff on her Instagram page. This allows her to keep a roof over her head and spread pro-Jenelle propaganda at the same time. View Slideshow

Anna Duggar Defends Son Against Alleged Salamander Abuse

Look, you guys. Anna Duggar may have sat mostly idly by while her husband confessed to molesting two of his sisters as a teenager and then to cheating on her as a client of the adultery website Ashley Madison . But she will NOT just sit there and let you accuse her son of mishandling a tiny animal, okay?!? Earlier this week, Anna shared a photo of her son Marcus on a trip she dubbed to be part of “Man Camp.” Ignoring how stereotypical, kind of offensive and possibly harmful such a title is, Duggar wrote the following as a caption to the picture below: Our boys had a great get away last week at ‘Man Camp’ with Daddy, Grandpa (Pops) most of their Uncles and a ton of friends! It’s been so fun to hear Michael and Marcus tell me stories of all the fun they had fishing, horseback riding, doing camp activities and playing 4 square late into the night. It’s been equally exciting to hear them reference the different sessions with things they learned from God’s Word! These guys have grown up so fast and I’m so thankful for the treasure of being their mommy and watching them transitioning from boys to little men. I love you guys so much! The idea that fishing and horseback riding are examples of activities reserved for men is very much on brand for a member of the Duggar family. But that criticism wasn’t the focus of most people who left comments on this snapshot. Instead, a surprising number of Instagram users took issue with the way young Marcus is holding the little animal above. “You don’t hold a newt like that,” one person actually wrote. “You hold it gently in the middle of your palm.” In the grand scheme of all one could take the Duggars to task for, this seems relatively harmless. However, give Anna props for not letting trolls say anything negative about her child. Especially not when they weren’t even correct in their assessment of this situation. “Marcus couldn’t quite figure out how to hold his fish so he held the artificial lure instead,” she explained in response, adding: “I wouldn’t let my kids use a real salamander for fishing bait [catch and release].” So there you have it, folks: No salamanders were harmed during this trip to Man’s Camp. And, yes, the trip did sadly include Josh: Along with Marcus and Michael, Anna and Josh are parents to Mackynzie, 9, Meredith, 3, and Mason, 2. They announced in April that they’re expecting their SIXTH child as well . “We couldn’t be happier to share with the world that our family is growing by one this Fall,” Anna and her polarizing husband told Us Weekly in a statement at the time, adding: “We continually stand amazed by God’s love, redemption, grace and blessings in our lives. Our entire little family is ecstatic!” View Slideshow: Josh & Anna Duggar Expecting Again: Their Bizarre Journey to Baby #6 For the record, by the way: We don’t actually blame Anna for staying silent through Josh’s molestation and infidelity scandals. We blame the Duggar family as a whole for operating as a cult that treats women with absolutely no respect and which makes them feel as if their only roles in life are to procreate and to be subservient to their husbands. We have no doubt Anna feels legitimately trapped this marriage. And we feel awful for her. View Slideshow: The Duggars: Who’s Courting? Pregnant? Next In Line? [MORE UPDATES!]

Farrah Abraham Supports Amber Portwood: You’re Just as Good a Mom as I Am!

Last month, Amber Portwood was arrested for domestic violence after allegedly attacking Andrew Glennon while he held their son. Now, she's getting support from a former castmate — and quite possibly the last person you'd expect. Farrah Abraham is cheering on Amber, telling her that she knows that she can make it as a single mom. “I mean, I wish her all the best,” Farrah expresses in her interview with HollywoodLife . She continues: “It's really sad that … I think it's just like everyone is saying. She has to focus on her health and her well-being.” “I know it hurts, as a mom, to have your kids taken away,” Farrah adds. “I know it hurts to sometimes make wrong choices and get off the beaten path that she wants to be on,” she notes. “And the more that we all talk about that, that she talks about that, that's awesome,” Farrah raves. “For Amber,” Farrah says. “My message would be, ‘I wish you all the best and I know how that feels, and I understand.’” “I’m empathetic to what she’s going through,” the reality villain affirms. “But I really really hope that she can be alone, go solo, be a solo girl,” Farrah expresses. “And,” she continues. “Be that strong independent fierce woman that I know is inside of her.” Farrah notes that Amber is a person who is strong “and who can easily have two kids on her own.” Now, Farrah is the first to admit that she is out of the loop and has been since she left Teen Mom OG in a huff. “They’ve definitely probably splitted ways after that,” Farrah muses. “I can only imagine,” she says with sympathy. “This is her second go round of her losing custody of a child,” Farrah notes. “And,” she concludes. “I’m sure that’s not taken lightly.” A little piece of advice for everyone? Firework displays just aren't that important. They're noisy pollution sources. But reports say that it was over a missed firework show that Amber lost her temper and allegedly attacked Andrew. With a shoe, she allegedly pummeled him while he held their child, and even demanded that he set down James. She also allegedly hacked at a door with a machete — an image from everyone's nightmares — in her fury. We are so glad that Andrew escaped with minimal injuries and that 1-year-old James was physically unharmed. Despite what sounds like a one-sided incident, Farrah is not the first Teen Mom star (past or present) to sympathize with Amber. Catelynn Lowell voiced her support for Amber with a message that could only be interpreted as “believe attackers!” She and Maci Bookout both showed up in court in to root for Team Amber. It may be that they're simply siding with their friend out of habit. Others have suggested that perhaps Amber's mental health made her actions in July fully outside of her control. Perhaps the court and a series of expert witnesses will decide that. This is not Amber's first arrest for domestic violence. Famously, years ago, she attacked baby daddy Gary Shirley. The violence was caught on camera. Amber managed to strike a deal that would have avoided prison time, but ended up behind bars anyway. Most had hoped that she had learned her lesson and gotten the help that she needed. No one ever has the right to strike or otherwise attack a member of their family. Yes, even if they're mad about fireworks.

Jessa Duggar: Having Health Issues After Giving Birth to Third Child?

It’s been over two months now since Jessa Duggar gave birth to her third child and her first daughter, precious little Ivy. It really doesn’t seem like it’s been that long, right? Time flies when your family breeds like literal rabbits! With all the Duggar pregnancy announcements and updates and speculation that’s been happening lately, are we honestly supposed to be able to keep up? But for the sake of discussing what we’re discussing today, just remember that Jessa had Ivy at the end of May . And sometime in July … she disappeared. Or, OK, yeah, that might be a little dramatic. We’re pretty sure she’s just at home, probably completely overwhelmed with having three children under the age of three. What we mean is that she disappeared from social media. Jessa has always been pretty active on Instagram, and even after Ivy was born, she shared tons of pictures of her. There were photos of Ivy, photos of Ivy’s baby toes, photos of Ivy with her big brothers, photos of Spurgeon and Henry, too — lots and lots of photos. On July 10th, she shared a photo of Ivy with a pacifier, and then … She was never heard from again . She hasn’t been posting to her Instagram stories, and Ben hasn’t posted on his Instagram at all in a couple of years, so we really have no clue what she’s been up to. Besides, you know, babies. Ben’s family has an Instagram of their own, so we’ve been seeing some photos of the kids there, but we haven’t had a glimpse at Jessa for several weeks now. And her fans are getting kind of concerned about it. This week, Ben’s family shared a photo of him reading to the boys, and they tagged Jessa as the photographer, and in the comments on that post, there were some questions. “Is Jessa OK?” one person asked. “I have been wondering about her, miss her!” “I don’t know,” someone else replied, “but her absence has been noted. I hoped Mrs. Seewald could let us know if she’s ok.” Others left similar comments, and if you check the comments on Jessa’s last post from July, you can see that people are getting pretty anxious for new updates on her family. “Would love to see Ivy now,” one of her followers told her. “Haven’t seen or heard much from you lately,” another fan said. “Hope you’re ok and not getting too overwhelmed.” One comment read “I am sure she will return when she can. She is a mom now and also busy making more babies to share with all the fans.” There’s quite a bit to discuss here, but real quick — Jessa better not be “busy making more babies,” because she just had one not even three months ago and we’re pretty sure her uterus would fall out if she tried. But it is interesting that she’s pretty much gone from Instagram, right? There’s always the possibility that she’s struggling with postpartum depression and just isn’t feeling much like being on social media, and if that’s the case, then we hope she’s able to get help and support for that. But like we said … she’s got two toddlers and a newborn right now. It’s more likely she’s simply in survival mode. Whatever’s going on with her, we hope she feels better soon. View Slideshow: Duggar Intimacy Guide: Make Yourself Available to HIS Needs. Always. Joyfully. And that maybe she thinks about taking some time before throwing yet another baby into this mix … but that one’s probably not going to happen.

Miley Cyrus to Liam Hemsworth: Sorry, But I Needed Some New Dong! (And a Little Vajay!)

By now, you’ve probably heard the news that Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have separated after less than a year of marriage. At this point, media outlets of every stripe have had their say, as insiders and unnamed sources continue to theorize about what may have led these two to call it quits. Obviously, the photos of Miley making out with Kaitlynn Carter  have led many to the conclusion that Miley needed something Liam couldn’t provide for her. And based on the latest report from Radar Online, it seems that assessment might not be far off. An insider tells the site that Miley put real effort into settling down, but in the end — she just couldn’t be tamed. “She was bored in her marriage and she was bored in bed with Liam,” says a source . The insider adds that Miley did not keep her feelings to herself, but instead told Liam how she felt “many times.” Though Hemsworth was “willing to change things up by bringing in another partner,” the source said Cyrus “needed more than that” and may have arrived at the conclusion that she’s more attracted to women. “She really did try her best to fit into this wife role at first, but she is just not ready to be a domesticated housewife,” the insider claims. While the split apparently did not come as a total shock to Hemsworth, he was reportedly stunned by how quickly Miley moved on. According to the source, “heartbroken” Hemsworth “was completely caught off guard” by Cyrus’ pics with Carter. It seems Miley is also having a hard time with the separation, but she’s receiving much-needed support from her siblings. Her parents, on the other hand, are openly wondering if she made the right decision. “Miley’s sisters support her and just want her to be happy,” the insider says. “Her mom Tish and dad Billy Ray are not quite there yet though,” the source adds. “They really love Liam, and Miley’s parents wanted nothing more than for her to have some children so that they could have grandbabies.” As for the reports that Miley and Kaitlynn are dating , they appear to be bogus — and that’s probably a good thing. Sounds like Miley should probably figure out some things about herself before she jumps into another relationship. View Slideshow: Miley Cyrus Risks Catastrophic Nip-Slip on Saturday Night Live

Scott Disick: I’m Buying My Kids’ Love with a $100,000 Playhouse

A week ago, we showed you a  Flip It Like Disick  sneak peek  of Scott having a heart-to-heart with Kourtney Kardashian. On the most recent episode, we saw the context — Scott is using his new passion for real estate to build his kids an unbeliavable playhouse. Will the six-figure structure be enough to please his three kids? Take a look. The first season of  Flip It Like Disick  premiered on E! about 10 days ago, on August 4. The humorously titled series is about Scott buying multimillion dollar homes and then flipping them so that they sell for eve (That’s smart — it’s right up his alley and, these days, the rich are almost the only ones who can buy homes) But this project is a little smaller and a lot more personal. Scott wants to make up for lost time with his kids by being a superdad — and building them a playhouse that will be the envy of the world. Scott explained that he was inspired by a structure he saw in Forbes that was in Mexico. He loved how the architect had blended many different types of wood into  a single, modern structure. Scott’s aim was to do the same for his kids in an outdoor, backyard structure that would serve as an opulent playhouse for them. This isn’t some treehouse — it has its own lighting and windows. It’s exactly the kind of extravagant treat that you’d expect from a millionaire dad who’s trying to make up for past mistakes. Scott spoke during the episode about his role as a parent. “Now that it’s part of life and they want me to be there, I’m happy to be there,” Scott stated frankly. He admitted: “I never thought I would have kids at such an early age.” “And,” he confessed. “It was really difficult at first.” “I didn’t know how to be a dad,” Scott assessed. “How to take care of kids and be there for them.” Clearly, he now feels more confident. The results of the playhouse project were exactly as Scott had hoped to see. “Everything came out great,” Scott beamed during the episode. “The ipe wood is perfect,” he gushed. (Real talk, most adults aren’t even going to notice stuff like that, so it may be a little lost on his kids) “The recess lighting over the little windows the loft space is really cool,” Scott gushed. “Honestly, it’s pretty amazing altogether.” He’s not wrong! With a pricetag of $100,000, it’s no surprise that it meets and exceeds expectations. At the risk of sounding nitpicky, Reign is only four years old, and that loft is very high and does not seem to have any sort of safety rail. Mason and probably Penelope can go up there without issue. It could be a safety hazard for Reign. (Child safety is no joke, folks) Aside from that, though, this looks like the stuff of dreams. We hope that there’s a lock in it. There are plenty of people who would love to seek shelter in a “house” like this for a few days. View Slideshow: Scott Disick: Banging ALL of the Kardashians?!

The Inspiration To Create ‘Hair Love’ Came From The Lack Of Representation Of Black Father & Daughters

See the original post here:

Source: Sony Pictures Animation / Sony Pictures Animation When the visuals for Matthew A. Cherry’s Hair Love came across our computer screen, we rejoiced at imagery that showed a Black father and daughter in such a positive light. It was the representation we rarely see, even if it is a cartoon. MUST READ:  Animated Short Film ‘Hair Love’ Celebrates Black Father & Daughter Relationships Hair Love , an animated short film about a father who takes on the battle of doing his daughter’s hair, will premiere ahead of The Angry Birds 2 movie in theaters this weekend, broadcasting the image in front of millions of children and families. We caught up with director Matthew A. Cherry and producer Peter Ramsey, who both opened up about creating the animated short and why it is important for all to see. HelloBeautiful: What inspired you to create Hair Love? Matthew:  I was seeing a lot of viral videos of African-American dads doing their daughter’s hair hitting the timeline and I always like to share family friendly stuff like that. They were going extra viral, 100K retweets, and I would always share videos of moms interacting with their kids too and it would do OK but never as big as that. Obviously they were cute videos but I would come to learn later that part of it was that people weren’t used to seeing these images of African-American fathers doing these type of interactions with their kids (especially when the hair would be moving and breaking rubber bands and hitting dad in the eye). The idea of hair having a mind of its own was the linchpin that created this idea. HB: How does it feel to finally have your work being shown on such a massive platform after so much work to get it made and funded? Matthew:  It’s kind of surreal. This literally started with an idea through Kickstarter and for it to be a New York Times best selling book and now about to be in theaters across the country is pretty crazy. It’s definitely surreal. I just really hope that it inspires other creators. Sometimes i think we waste so much time reaching out to people thinking that they have to help us with our ideas and help move them forward and sometimes all you have to do is put it out there and take that risk and bet on yourself and trust that you can raise the money yourself and get the idea to other likeminded creatives that will be able to help you with it and bring it to market. HB: How was it for you to be involved in the short film and taking on the role as Executive Producer? How was that process for you?  Peter: It was great because from minute one, I believed in Matthew. I knew he was a really talented, energetic, inspiring guy in his work and in his life. I got to see the story he wanted to tell and it felt like it was right for the time, its got its heart in the right place, it’s going to really speak to people, all of those things made it really easy for me. Really I’ve just been a cheerleader. I’ve just been doing whatever I could, whether it’s advice or encouragement or whatever little thing I could offer to help move it down the line. It’s Matthew and a fantastic team of really talented people working on it that have really brought it to life. Matthew:  Yeah, Bruce Smith, Everett Downing, Stacey Newton, Monica Young, Karen Toliver. It’s a great team. Peter : It’s been a whole lot of work and whole lot of love What did you learn about fatherhood in the process?  Peter:  I have three kids. I’ve experienced a lot of moments like this. I think from this film specifically, the thing that jumps out at me is a lot of it is about people supporting each other in family. You can see everybody in this family in some way shape or form has supported each other. It’s about the idea of a father listening to his daughter and her communicating something that’s really important to her and him understanding why it’s so important and doing what he can to help her express who she is and what she feels. I think that’s a huge part of what drives this movie and makes it feel special. It might not be something you think about watching it but that’s what’s under the surface. That part of a parent/child relationship I think is something people need to pay a lot of attention to and think about that because even the smallest kid is still a real person deserving respect and being allowed to express themselves. Shannon Beador and Boyfriend: We’re Basically Already Co-Parents!

Recently, Shannon Beador has been totally inseparable from her businessman boyfriend, John Janssen. Their relationship has been looking serious. Now, as they get closer, they’re getting to know each other’s kids. Look at these sweet blended family photo. Shannon Beador and John Janssen are serving up Brady Bunch realness in this family photo that she shared on Instagram. “What an experience at my very first rap festival,” Shannon’s caption begins. “#Realstreetfest,” she tagged her post, adding that the “Kids had a ball.” She and John just tried to keep up. “Parents did their best to be hip,” Shannon concluded. It’s great to see these “cool parents” having a good time with all six children — three of hers and three of his. But it’s not really a surprise to see that everyone is so comfortable around each other. After all, earlier this month, Shannon affirmed to Us Weekly that she and John are “in a really good place”in their relationship. Shannon has been gushing that she has “never been happier.” You know what? After everything that David put her through, we can believe it. Shannon has also explained part of why she is so willing to trust him after having been hurt so deeply in the past. “My friends have known him for 30 years,” Shannon explained. When you’re hooking up with a friend-of-a-friend, you can sometimes (and only sometimes!) skip worrying about someone’s true intentions. “So,” Shannon reasoned. “I didn’t have to make sure he was there for the right reason” She’s a wealthy celebrity. That must be a huge weight off of her shoulders. Every time that she discusses her boyfriend, Shannon just sounds over the moon. “He’s just a great person,” she gushed about him. As we’ve seen, Shannon was a little horniness-motivated earlier in the year, but this time, it sounds like there’s a real emotional bond. “I have a great connection with him,” Shannon revealed. And then she dropped the L-word, saying: “I’m very much in love.” Shannon is now thoroughly divorced from David. So … should we be expecting wedding bells in her future? “I’m 55 years old,” Shannon noted earlier this month. “I haven’t wanted to rush into anything.” “I’ve got one shot left,” she expressed. “if I want to be realistic.” To be clear, plenty of people marry more than once after turning 55. Shannon explained: “I want to be certain this time that everything is gonna be good.” It’s good that, as head-over-heels in love as she is, she still has her feet planted firmly on the ground. Some folks — especially when they’re looking to rebound from a marriage — lose all sense of reason and repeat past mistakes. It sounds like Shannon has both the wisdom and the common sense to tread carefully, even when her heart is bursting with affection. Still, introducing someone to your kids (and yourself to his kids, and the kids to each other) is a huge step. If things carry on like this, we could be seeing a lot more of John in the future. Ashley Martson Shares Rare Photo of Kids, Signals She’s SO Over Jay

Ashley Martson has clearly done a lot of soul-searching, self-care, and healing since Jay cheated on her with six side hoes . The repeated humiliations were a lot to endure, but now she’s focusing on what matters: her family. In fact, Ashley has even shared an ultra-rare photo of her kids as she spends quality time with them. Take a look: Over the weekend, Ashley Martson shared a photo of herself with her two children. Hands clasped together, they walked along the Ocean City Boardwalk. “It doesn’t get any better than this,” Ashley captions the image. Her tags include: “#fam, #momlife, #beach.” As always, Ashley’s children are not facing the camera as part of her efforts to shield them from her 90 Day Fiance fame. One follower asked why they couldn’t see her children’s faces. “I don’t post their faces. I wouldn’t ever,” Ashley replied. “I want them to stay private. That’s why you don’t see much of them.” “Where is Jay?” asked another — someone either woefully out of the loop or simply trolling. Ashley fired back with the perfect reply: “I’m sorry, who?” “You are a emotional strong, beautiful woman,” praiseda  fan. “Don’t let a piece of crap run you down.” “Thank you!” Ashley gushed. “He got me for a little but mommas back and better than ever.” “You are such a beautiful and strong parental figure, I hope you all had an amazing time together,” praised another follower. “Your health and kiddos are first,” affirmed a fan. “You don’t need the added stress of a player in your life.” “Keep doing you boss lady, single moms get all the scrutiny and have to be tough as nails,” characterized another. That same comment continued: “I am a huge fan! You are a great mom and beautiful person.” “I wish you the best… I wanted you to be happy with Jay,” expressed a follower. The comment continued: “I am sorry you got so hurt. Better you didn’t waste more years on him. God bless….take care of yourself and your family,” “Youre goodlooking and smart Ashley,” praised another fan. “You need to meet a man!” They suggest: “Someone with education and a good job and is stable!!! No more little boys! You need to be wined and dined no more kiddy s–t!” Counterpoint: Jay is a 21-year-old adult and women are allowed to be cougars and still expect fidelity. “Your health and kiddos are first,” emphasizes another follower. “You don’t need the added stress of a player in your life,” the comment affirms. “My wife has Lupus and Stress causes a lot of flare ups for her too.” “I was annoyed with on the show when you called the police to have jay deported,” admited a follower. They clarified: “Not because you wanted him deported – but because it was a petty waste of police’s time.” “That being said,” the comment concluded. “I do actually thing you are one of the smartest girls on the show.” “You don’t take anyone’s shit and lay down like a doormat when someone pisses you off,” instructed a fan. The comment added: “I hope you are free of the show now and can do and say what you want!” Now that Jay Smith is out on bail and living it up with his girlfriend, Ashley hopes that he’ll be more respectful of this and future women. That said, she doesn’t want anyone livin in denial about Jay’s immediate future. She doesn’t yet know the date, but she fully expects that Jay will still be deported to Jamaica. It seems that it’s only a matter of time. That said, 90 Day Fiance fans have been bandying theories about how Jay might scheme to stay in America — with the help of his girlfriend.
