Lost Executive Producers Redefine the Idea of Radio Silence

Many of you might not realize this, but Lost ends this Sunday night. ABC should really be publicizing this more, right? Kidding! The two-and-a-half hour series finale is basically being positioned as the geek Super Bowl: ABC is starting coverage at 7 p.m. and will keep fans tuned in until 1 a.m., when the special Lost edition of Jimmy Kimmel Live — with cast members and three alternate endings — wraps up. Two people who won’t be appearing with Kimmel, though, are Lost executive producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse. Like David Chase — The Patron Saint of Finales — the men will go into a self-imposed radio silence following the last frame of Lost as a way to let their work speak for itself. Oh, and also because they have no one left to talk to.

B.o.B Brings ‘Nothin’ On You’ To ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’

Bruno Mars joins Atlanta MC for the late-night show on Wednesday. By Jayson Rodriguez Photo: ABC B.o.B and Bruno Mars took their act to the late-night airwaves on Wednesday night, when the pair performed the rapper’s hit single “Nothin’ on You” on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” Backed by a band, with Mars on guitar , B.o.B led the set through his syrupy breakout smash dedicated to the pretty ladies. “Hands down, there will never be another one/ I been around and never seen another one,” the Atlanta MC rapped. ” ‘Cause your style I ain’t really got nothing on/ And you wild when you ain’t got nothing on.” Dressed down in jeans, a red jacket, a striped T-shirt and a paperboy cap, the bespectacled B.o.B was boisterous and energetic through his appearance, which also included an acoustic version of “Lovelier Than You,” from his recent chart-topping debut The Adventures of Bobby Ray. Sans Mars, B.o.B. closed out the show with “Lovelier Than You.” “Maybe one day, girl, I pray/ We can float off to space/ Now hold my hand, I’ll lead the way/ And I won’t let go or fall astray,” he sang on the melodic number, while strumming his guitar. ” ‘Cause ain’t no ifs, ands, buts or maybes/ You’re my baby, my lady/ And don’t you worry, baby, please.” Bobby Ray then kicked the accompanying rhyme: “Well, well, well, I say I’m dangerously, dangerously, dangerously in love/ ‘Cause I love her more than I love myself and it’s still that ain’t enough,” he rapped. “If this a dream, I don’t want to wake up/ We go together like the tub and the shower head above.” What did you think of B.o.B’s performance? Demi Lovato Says Boyfriend Joe Jonas Doesn’t Share Her Love For Heavy Metal

‘I played it for him and he’s like, ‘Whoa that’s crazy,’ ‘ the Disney star said on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live.’ By Jocelyn Vena Demi Lovato appears on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” Photo: ABC Joe Jonas apparently doesn’t have a high tolerance for girlfriend and fellow Disney star Demi Lovato ‘s taste in heavy metal. Lovato, appearing on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” Monday night, said she was tired after going to see a Maylene and the Sons of Disaster concert the previous night. When asked if boyfriend Joe shared her fondness for “hard-core Southern rock metal band,” Lovato said, “No, we’ve talked about it. … I played it for him and he’s like, ‘Whoa that’s crazy.’ ” While they might not agree on what kind of music to listen to (Jonas has admitted to being a big fan of indie rock band Vampire Weekend ), not surprisingly, they haven’t even broached the subject of starting a family. “You know, it’s a little early to talk about that,” Lovato told Kimmel. All joking aside, the couple will appear on “American Idol” this week, where they will sing their duet, “Make a Wave,” from the new Disneynature flick “Oceans.” (Jonas appeared on “Idol” earlier this season as a guest judge .) “Yes we’re doing a duet. I’m afraid of Simon, so I’m good [about not being judged by him while on the show]. … The song’s coming out and it’s great,” she explained. “It’s not about being in love. It’s whatever you interpret it to be.” Lovato currently stars on the Disney series “Sonny With a Chance,” but she got her big start in entertainment alongside a certain big purple dinosaur. “I was on the ‘Barney’ show for about two seasons. I don’t [keep in touch]. You realize he’s kind of a dinosaur,” she joked to Kimmel. Related Artists Demi Lovato Joe Jonas

Justin Bieber Meets Crying 3-Year-Old Fan For ‘Jimmy Kimmel’

‘Cody rules,’ Bieber tweets about his encounter with the YouTube celeb. By Jocelyn Vena Justin Bieber Photo: Getty Images Monday (March 1) is Justin Bieber’s 16th birthday, but before he opened his own presents, he gave a huge gift to one of his youngest, but most enthusiastic, fans. Last week, 3-year-old Cody became an Internet sensation when her sister posted a video of her crying over the teen heartthrob on YouTube. In a pretaped segment for Monday night’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” Bieber came face to face with the toddler. And in a fortunate turn of events, the encounter didn’t make Cody cry at all. Bieber posted a photo of their meeting and wrote, “Makin faces with Cody, Ciera, and @chynanny325 !! Awesome family and Cody isn’t crying..haha. Happy to surprise them.” He later tweeted about how much he loved meeting his little fan. “I met Cody. She is even cuter in person,” he wrote in response to Perez Hilton. And he wrote to Joe Jonas that the meeting occurred last Thursday. “Yep, Cody rules. Actually met her yesterday.” Cody’s older sister, Cheyenne, also wrote about the meeting on the Twitter account she started in response to Cody’s fame. “Hey guys watch us meet Justin on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ on Monday night…At midnight… He kissed me BTW… ahhh.” Related Videos 2010 Winter Olympics: From The Athletes’ Perspectives Related Artists Justin Bieber
