It’s been years since the movies were the best place to see nudies, but there were some hopeful signs for skin fans in 2011: namely, the success of the NC-17 sex-addiction drama Shame and the super-nude fairytale Sleeping Beauty . Yet, on the one hand we seem to be entering a renaissance for R-rated dramas (and comedies!) but on the other… CGI boobs . See Skin Central’s picks for the top 5 movie nude scenes of 2011 after the jump!
We never even knew that Kirsten Dunst was hot before seeing her in this video clip from the movie All Good Things completely nude getting into the shower. Continue reading →
‘Jack and Jill’ and ‘J. Edgar’ make the top 5, as does the irrepressible ‘Puss in Boots.’ By Ryan J. Downey Henry Cavill in “Immortals” Photo: Relativity Media The folks at Relativity Media must be feeling as powerful as Olympian warriors. The small distributor celebrated its biggest movie debut ever over the weekend as “Immortals” topped the box office with a better-than-expected $32 million. With future Superman Henry Cavill leading the cast, the 3-D epic set in ancient Greece successfully fended off the latest new releases from Adam Sandler and Leonardo DiCaprio. Sandler’s “Jack and Jill,” in which the comedian plays dual roles as a twin brother and sister, was #2 with a $26 million debut. The film’s opening was less than that of his “Just Go With It” from earlier this year and most Sandler comedies in general. The broad comedy had a reported $79 million production budget. The “Jack and Jill” opening weekend number was barely enough to beat last weekend’s #1 movie, “Puss in Boots,” which was #3 this weekend with $25.5 million for a $108.8 million total. DiCaprio’s “J. Edgar” opened at #5 with $11.5 million. The Clint Eastwood-directed biopic played on significantly fewer screens than “Immortals” or “Jack and Jill.” None of the weekend’s new wide releases have been well-received by film critics, with “Jack and Jill” suffering the worst fate of the three. The film sat with a paltry 3 percent on Rotten Tomatoes ‘ Tomatometer at press time. “Tower Heist” dropped 49 percent in ticket sales during its second weekend of release, landing at #4. The caper comedy was directed by Brett Ratner, who made headlines last week when he stepped away from producing the 2012 Academy Awards broadcast following his use of a distasteful homophobic slur at a “Tower Heist” Q&A. “Tower Heist” star Eddie Murphy also stepped down as Oscar host shortly thereafter. The caper comedy made $13.2 million over the weekend for a $43.9 million total. Filmmaker Lars von Trier’s “Melancholia” earned $265,000 in just 19 locations. The dark and fantastical film has enjoyed impressive reviews from film critics (with Kirsten Dunst’s performance figuring prominently) and had been available on iTunes for some time already. Next weekend’s new releases include director Alexander Payne’s “The Descendants,” with George Clooney in a role that has already generated Oscar buzz, and a little movie called “Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1.” Check out everything we’ve got on “Immortals” and “J. Edgar.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com . Related Photos ‘Immortals’ Key Scenes
But Stellan is ‘such a douche bag’ in the Lars von Trier movie, Alexander laughs to MTV News. By Amy Wilkinson Alexander and Stellan Skarsg&#aring;rd Photo: Jeff Vespa/Getty Images ” Melancholia ” certainly isn’t the first film to contemplate the end of the world as we know it, but the dreamy drama from writer/director Lars von Trier does boast its own noteworthy debut: the teaming of father/son duo Stellan and Alexander Skarsg&#aring;rd In the movie, out Friday (November 11) in New York and L.A., Alexander plays mild-mannered Michael, the man who marries Kirsten Dunst ‘s slightly unhinged Justine. Father Stellan plays Justine’s boss and Michael’s best man, Jack – a role that required the elder Skarsg&#aring;rd to act out some less than savory behavior. “He’s such a douche bag in the movie,” Alexander said with a grin. “Your dad’s a douche bag?” Dunst answered, laughing. “Well, he is,” Alexander confirmed. “What I thought was interesting about Michael was that he’d pick this guy as his best man at his wedding. This is not his best friend. It’s his wife’s boss, and he does it just to kind of help his wife in his career. It says a lot about Michael.” (Not to mention the trajectory of their love affair.) Despite Jack’s unpleasant demeanor, working with dad Stellan was an experience Alexander truly cherished. “It was awesome,” he enthused. “We’ve never worked together before. He’s one of my best friends. I love hanging out with him. Being able to hang out for two months – we shot in [our home country of] Sweden, and I thought it was great that he wasn’t my dad.” “They’re really cute together as father and son,” Dunst chimed in. “They’re like bros.” “He’s pretty rad. He’s a cool cat,” Alexander said. Check out everything we’ve got on “Melancholia.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com .
Nude in theaters, Kirsten Dunst goes full frontal in Melancholia. On Blu-Ray, Angelina Jolie goes unrated, naked, and lesbo in Gia while Isabella Rossellini shows black wool in Blue Velvet.
The fun thing about Kirsten Dunst is not that she looks like an 80s hooker about to have a heroin overdose at a Rock concert…..it’s that GETS NAKED IN MOVIES NOW ….I mean when she was at her peak of celebrity, before being forced to take on nude roles to pay the bills and regain respect as an action…I’m talking Bring it on Days….seeing her naked seemed like it would never happen…but it did…and I’m glad it did….but not as glad as I am about her VAGINA FLASH she gave us…. Now get ready for her TOPLESS IN MELANCHLOIA
Usually it’s their mutual director pal Lars Von Trier publicly putting his foot in this mouth , but in a recent interview Melancholia star Kirsten Dunst had a bit of a Von Diss for her fellow Von Leading Lady, Charlotte Gainsbourg . Explaining her motivations for taking the Melancholia role, Kirsten referenced Von Trier’s earlier flick, Antichrist , where Charlotte does some pretty shocking things involving rusty scissors and her own genitals: “That kind of film is harder for someone like me to get away with. I’m more in the public eye than Charlotte,” Dunst told The Guardian UK . “It’s something about Charlotte’s body, too. You couldn’t have someone like me, with big breasts, in that film. Charlotte’s thin and her breasts are small and that’s easier to watch somehow. For someone like me to do that film – it would almost be ridiculously shocking.” Ladies, ladies, let’s be fair. Big boobs, small boobs, as long as we’ve got boobs, it’s all good. Now put those scissors down! See what all the fuss is about with Charlotte Gainsbourg nude in Antichrist (2009)- if you dare!
“Well yeah, you could see my face. I was choking, because I’m watching a friend having a meltdown. And what he’s saying is horrendous in a roomful of press. He was asked an inappropriate question [about his family] and his response was to make a joke about it. But no one laughed and he just kept unravelling.” Kirsten Dunst told her side of the Lars von Trier Cannes controversy to The Guardian recently, wondering why none of her fellow Melancholia co-stars stepped in to stop their director from shoving his foot squarely into his own mouth.
