Email Submit Ingredients 4 cups peeled, sliced peaches 2 cups sugar, divided 1/2 cup water 8 tablespoons butter 1 1/2 cups self-rising flour 1 1/2 cups heavy cream Ground cinnamon Brown Sugar Red velvet Oreo cookies Peach Ice cream to top optional Whip cream optional Directions Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Combine the peaches, 1 cup sugar, and water in a saucepan and mix well. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from the heat Put the butter in a 3-quart baking dish and place in oven to melt Mix remaining 1 cup sugar, flour, and milk slowly to prevent clumping. Pour mixture over melted butter. Do not stir. Spoon fruit on top, gently pouring in syrup. Sprinkle top with ground cinnamon & gram cracker crust, if using. Batter will rise to top during baking. Photo by Meißner/ullstein bild via Getty Images Zero Effs Were Given One woman living in Brooklyn received a maid service from hell when the house cleaners stole her liquor, guzzled down her ice cream and trashed her apartment. One of the maids even passed out drunk on her kitchen floor. Genevieve Snow vented about the whole incident on Facebook writing, “I hired two ladies from Joanna’s Cleaning Service in Brooklyn and they didn’t clean a thing, just drank all my liquor and fu**ed up my home.” According to the New York Post , Snow let the two maids in her house before heading off to work that day, then one of her housemate woke up a few hours later to discover the cleaners eating on the couch. “You know when you are not supposed to be doing something, people jerk up really quickly? They did that,” said Snow’s roommate Kristen Nepomuceno. Nepomuceno then went off to work and when she returned home around 5:30 p.m., that’s when she discovered one of the maids passed out on the floor next to a smashed spice rack. The house was also a mess and the other maid was nowhere to be found. Nepomuceno left the apartment and called the police. When they all arrived back at the scene, the maid was awake, chilling on the couch eating some ice cream. “She is licking ice cream and hammered, beyond hammered. She drank one whole bottle of Broker’s Gin and [most of] a bottle of Kettle,” said Nepomuceno. The NYPD told the New York Post that they sent the drunk woman to a hospital. They weren’t able to charge her with anything, since she didn’t commit any crimes, so they suggested Snow take it up in civil court. Snow says she was left with more than $400 worth of damages. However, when she asked for reimbursement from the cleaning company, she says they tried to explain the chaos with a sob story. Apparently, the woman who passed out in the kitchen had a rough week. “Her husband left her after 19 years marriage, and that day when she was cleaning your apartment she had the phone call that her teenage daughter is pregnant,” Joanna Oltuszewska, a contact for the business, wrote in a response email to Snow. “She couldn’t stop her emotions and that’s why she used the alcohol, thats never happened before.” To make matters even worse, Snow says she’s used the Brooklyn-based Joanna Cleaning Service on certain occasions since 2013. However, when she posted about her recent bad experience on Yelp, a woman identifying herself as Joanna Sokolowska reached out to Snow and said her company, Joanna Cleaning Service, hadn’t cleaned Snow’s home since 2017. Sokolowska says Snow must have been conned by Oltuszewska, who was a former employee of the cleaning service, but got fired back in 2013. Oltuszewska reportedly set up a rival company called Joanna’s Cleaning after she got the boot. Snow is now trying to figure out who she should bill (and sue) for her damages. “If there really are two Joanna’s Cleaning Services, I want to know who owns both of them and where they are registered,” Snow said. “The end goal is finding an address to sue the business.” Smh. What a mess.

After spooning out coconut oil in a bowl and heating it up in the microwave for about 15-30 seconds (or, stick jar in bowl of warm water until melted), massage the coconut oil into your scalp. If the coconut oil is hot, wait until it’s warm to proceed. Work your way downward from your scalp, rubbing the coconut oil into your hair and all the way to your ends. Place hair in a plastic cap and let sit for about a hour to let the oil soak in. Proceed to wash your hair as normal, 2-3 times or until hair no longer feels oily. During your last wash, rinse with cool water to lock in moisture, make silky and help eliminate frizz.
Tori Spelling has had problems these past few years. In fact, she’s had just about every kind of problem you can think of — and she appears to be hell-bent on making all of them worse. Tori has gone bankrupt and she seems intent on spending her way into an even deeper hole. Tori has nearly divorced Dean McDermott but has opted instead to tough it out, despite allegations of infidelity, pyramid schemes, and generally being a colossal d-bag. At one point, Tori even fell down at a Benihana and burned her hand on a grill. Like we said, think of a problem that’s not “not being born to a life of unimaginable privilege” and Tori has experienced it. So perhaps it should come as no surprise that the mother of five appears to be hitting the bottle a bit these days. Or so her fans think. According to Radar Online, Tori uploaded an Instagram story over the weekend in which she appeared to be heavily intoxicated — in the presence of her kids. It seems Spelling was hanging out at the home of her friend, Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles star Josh Flagg, when she posted the slurry video to her page “Josh has chosen to watch one of my movies, Troop Beverly Hills , so I’m going to walk in the kitchen and see what’s up!” she told the camera at one point. “Are you really doing a fridge tour?” Tori’s confused 11-year-old son Liam asked. And it seems the former reality star’s followers were just as perplexed by her behavior. “Are you drunk?” asked one commenter. “Yo, you been drinking girl?” another remarked. “Are you hammered?” a third commented. Tori didn’t reply, but a second Instagram clip may have answered those questions. In the video, Tori could be seen screaming while rolling around with her kids on Flagg’s bed. The stories were quickly deleted, but it seems fans have yet to forget Tori’s tipsy upload. She posted a new story today, and many of the comments had to do with her boozy weekend. “Not drunk today?” a fan commented on Tori’s latest IG story. That’s the internet in 2018 for you. Our significant others become our routine–our days, our hours, our lunches, our mornings, and one day, after many bad days, that partner becomes a habit we must force ourselves to break. The familiarity of this painful cycle was perfectly captured in the season 2 finale of HBO’s hit show ‘Insecure.’ We were willing companions on the Issa & Lawrence relationship ride and then, abruptly, the gears of the rollercoaster track stopped mid-way uphill. Apologies and fantasy sequences wrapped up their fictional romance with a bow, yet somehow, we want more from their union. Show creator Issa Rae’s decision to not bring Lawrence along for season 3 is a profound and necessary character development choice. Issa literally set her past on fire (RIP to that apartment) and is actively making moves to incorporate Daniel (Y’Lan Noel) into her permanent ho-tation. Despite the audience’s devout worship of #LawrenceHive, where would his character fit into Issa’s refreshed life plot? And lest us not forget, Issa is the focal point of this show. No matter how wrapped up we get in the storylines of Molly, Dro, etc, they are all orbiting planets in the Issa universe. I respect the creative decision to keep the focus on Issa as a woman versus her ancillary (and rotating) male counterparts. Lawrence was not a co-star in this story, and we ultimately have to respect Issa’s fictional ex fading into the background just like our own exes would (or should!) “We want to stay as true to life as possible. They had a great conversation at the end of season two and it was just about like, hey, she’s moving on Daniel, sometimes we have those conversations,” Rae told Vulture . “You never see the exes again. And it’s okay! Research shows that frequent contact wth an ex is associated with decreased satisfaction with your current partner over time. Studies even correlate people who stay in contact with their exes with psychopathic personality disorders such as narcissism. Psychology aside, two things literally cannot occupy the same space at the same time, that includes the past and present. Even though most exes do the ‘make up to break up’ dance for years, maybe there is a lesson to be gleaned from Issa’s decisiveness.
