HipHollywood has learned that the couple is expecting a boy. Miranda was overheard telling friends that she was with child while accompanying Howard to a special screening in NYC Monday night for his upcoming Fox TV series, Empire. Miranda is Howard’s third wife and this will be their first child. The couple got married in 2013 after Howard split from his second wife, Michelle Ghent. Howard has three children from his first wife, Lori McCommas. HipHollywood has reached out to Howards reps, they have no comment at this time. Joseline showed up to ATL Live On the Park event dressed in very unmaternal attire. The mother to be of a baby boy also gushed to the mag about motherhood and explained why she chose fine azz actor/photographer Lance Gross to direct her shoot. ELLE.com reports: What kind of celebrity mom will you be? Would you take your son to award shows or fashion shows? I just plan to play it by ear. Everybody has their normal. And sometimes, award shows are a part of that. I have girlfriends who have that experience, and they’ll say ‘You know, I just really didn’t want to be without my child today.’ And it’s just that simple. It’s about finding your normal, whatever that may be. Tell us about your photo shoot with Lance Gross. What was the experience like? What was your vision for the shoot? I had a chance to work with Lance Gross during a video shoot for the [“Here I Am”] album, and I remember looking at his Instagram page, and seeing all these crazy hot photos. I texted him, and he said he’s really been into [photography]. So we had been planning for a year to shoot and of course, I got pregnant and thought I’ll have Lance shoot the photos for my pregnancy. Lance and I had all these great ideas and we just put our heads together to execute the looks. It was a lot of fun. Some pregnant women get flack for nude photos. Why was it important to you to include those in the shoot? I don’t know why they would get flack. It’s really—I won’t say amazing—it’s Godmazing [laughs] watching your body carry a human. I took a birthing class and I was amazed by all the things this woman was saying to me about birthing and what the body does naturally. Why wouldn’t you want to celebrate that? Lance has been in a relationship with girlfriend Rebecca Jefferson for a little over 2 years now and word on the street is that they’re ready to make it official while also preparing to become first-time parents. via Hip Hollywood Congratulations are in order for actor Lance Gross and celebrity stylist, Rebecca Jefferson. HipHollywood has learned that the two are engaged and expecting their first child together. A source tells HipHollywood exclusively that the actor popped the question in Mexico sometime last year. Jefferson is due this fall, but the sex of the couple’s first child is not known. Hoodbooger : Noun, Being a pregnant chick named Miata while stabbing your boyfriend to death Pregnant Chicago Woman Fatally Stabs Boyfriend For Not Buying Her Gifts Via ChicagoTribune A judge set bail today at $1 million for a pregnant woman accused of fatally stabbing her boyfriend at their Southwest Side home after they fought because the man didn’t’ buy anything for her at a shopping mall. Judge Maria Kuriakos Ciesil set the bail for Miata Phelan, 24, of the 6800 block of South Talman Avenue, who is charged with first-degree murder. The visibly pregnant Phelan, who appeared in court today wearing pink sweat pants with black stripes, a pink top, and black leather jacket, allegedly plunged a knife into Larry Martin’s left flank on April 30, prosecutors said. Martin, 28, is the father of her unborn child and they lived together. How did it all pop off? Well… Before the stabbing happened, Phelan, Martin, Martin’s 8-year-old son and 25-year-old cousin, a man, went shopping at a shopping mall. On the way home, Phelan accused Martin of being selfish because he bought things for his cousin and son but not for her, Asst. State’s Attorney Glen Runk said. Court records show Phelan turned 24 on May 1. Runk said Phelan struck Martin while he was driving, almost causing an accident, and after Phelan drove to Martin’s mother’s home to drop off shoes for Martin’s brother, she kicked and scratched Martin before driving away in his car, leaving Martin, his 8-year-old and Martin’s cousin outside. The three walked to the couple’s nearby apartment and when Phelan arrived about the same time, she and Martin began arguing again and she locked the three outside, Runk said. Martin banged on the door until she opened it and once inside, Phelan stabbed Martin in his side with a knife, Runk said. According to witeness report, Phelan said: “This is what you get for messing with me,’’ Runk said, quoting Phelan. “I hope you die, mother f—–,” Naturally, this type of thing will spark outrage toward the the murderous soon-to-be-mom, but she just threw away her life for nothing. Asst. Public Defender Lisa Brean said Phelan is a life-long resident of Chicago, who is eight classes away from receiving a bachelor’s degree in public relations from Columbia College in Chicago. Brean said she is pregnant with the victim’s child and surrendered herself to police. Florida Woman Jailed For Shooting Pregnant Friend Over Facebook Fight According to NY Daily News reports : A neighborhood in Florida is stunned that anyone would shoot a 6-month-pregnant woman in the stomach — killing the unborn baby inside. Let alone the victim’s close friend. Virginia Wyche, 35, also known as “Tweety Bird” around town, is accused of turning the gun on her pal Markeisha Brooks, 23, in the streets of Jacksonville Wednesday. “They were arguing out front, something about Facebook. I walked out and just heard a pop,” local man Christopher Cash told station WAWS. Cash shot footage of Brooks slouched in a chair, clutching her stomach, just moments after the shot rang out. Markeisha was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. Her family said she survived. The video shows an officer arresting Wyche at the scene. She appeared in court Thursday morning and is being held on a $1 million bond, authorities said. The suspect’s mother, Lillian Jordan, said the news is difficult to bear especially because she was “not raised like this.” “Somebody had to provoke my child … to do what she (did),” Jordan told WJXT Jacksonville. The suspect and victim had been arguing on Facebook the night before the shooting. Damn, thank God Brooks survived but that is terrible that her unborn child died.
