We’ve seen supermarket tabloids claim Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were an item. We’ve heard from Twilight Saga co-stars that have hinted there’s a romance between this pair. Earlier this week, Robert himself said he and Kristen were ” together .” But this is a first: A British politician has ratted out the pair! Council member Nicolas Clark was in London pub Tuesday when he spotted Pattinson and Stewart getting cozy together. Then, the guy actually Tweeted about it: “In The Marquis of Granby with Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart,” he wrote, later adding: “From what I saw just a couple of kisses on lips. R+K were acting like a couple.” Is this really what we’ve come to? Politicians are using Twitter to publicize private moments between movie stars?!? We’re not sure how parliamentary procedure works, but can the citizens of England impeach this moron?

Though some people question the validity of the source, it now seems official: Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are a couple. The former Twilight Saga star stated this in simple terms to The Sun over the weekend. With that in mind, Stewart’s recent praise of Robert’s performance in Remember Me can be seen as a girlfriend supporting her man. Isn’t that sweet? “I’ve seen the movie, I’m going to just say… He’s really good in the movie.” Stewart told MTV News. “It’s like, he’s everything I know he is. I know he can do any film.” Kristen continued: “Not everybody can play every part. He is really strong in the movie. Maybe people won’t really expect that – he’s quite bold, which is great.” To that sentence, she then added… in bed! Okay, fine. We added that. We’re just excited that Robsten is out in the open now and psyched to go see Remember Me . Will you be lining up for this March 12 release?

We are together, yes. With those words, spoken at this Sunday night’s BAFTA Awards in London, Robert Pattinson took attention away from his matted hair and placed it squarely back on his relationship with Kristen Stewart. After months of rumors, speculation, innuendo and ridiculous tabloid cover stories , Pattinson spoke publicly for the first time about he and his Twilight Saga co-star. He told Great Britain’s The Sun that he and Kristen have a difficult time dating in the spotlight – but, yes, they are dating. “It is extremely difficult but we are together, yes,” Robert said . “We can’t arrive at the same time because of the fans. It goes crazy. This was supposed to be a public appearance as a couple, but it’s impossible. We are here together and it’s a public event, but it’s not easy. “We have to do all this stuff to avoid attention.” There you have it, folks. There’s been little doubt for a very long time now, but Robsten has been made official. Perhaps the paparazzi can now leave these two alone and let them enjoy their relationship. ROBSTEN LIVES!!!

It seems that stringy greasiness does not work in anyone's favor – not even the genetically blessed. Perhaps it's just a gesture of solidarity until K.
