Pawn Stars’ Rick Harrison and Deanna Burditt have set a wedding date. On July 21, the 47-year-old reality star will tie the knot with his fiancee. Initially planned for Las Vegas, the wedding will now take place at the Ritz Carlton in Southern California’s Laguna Beach. Expect Rick to be privy to every detail. “She sticking me with all the planning!” he tells People . “It will be a lot of friends and family,” Harrison said. “It started off with about 40 people and it’s well over 100 people now. You know how those things go.” Danny Koker of the History Channel’s Counting Cars will become an ordained minister to marry the couple, and Pawn Stars’ Chumlee is set to be the ring bearer. “I can’t make that up,” he said. “I just had no idea there was so much involved. I just thought you got a cake, had a party, buy a keg. But we’re getting it done.” It’s been a busy few months for Rick, given the Pawn Stars lawsuit , the firing of Olivia Black , and the whole campground trashing thing. Crazy times. It’s happened again. Similar to the fate that befell Kim Kardashian before her split from Kris Humphries – and Kristen Stewart prior to her break-up from Robert Pattinson – Selena Gomez is featured in the new issue of Nylon , gushing over her relationship with Justin Bieber. Which is now over, of course. “I’m having fun,” the 20-year-old said weeks ago when the interview was taped. “At the end of the day, love is such a normal thing, and everyone deals with it. Just because it’s a different lifestyle doesn’t change the meaning of what I’ve been raised on, which is fairy tales.” That fairy tale is now kaput, of course, as sources confirm Gomez and Bieber have split – and this time, it’s for good. The former was even spotted getting close to Luke Bracey a few days ago. Elsewhere in the interview, Gomez touches on Taylor Swift, her new movie and more… On her friendship with Swift : “We both experienced the same things at the same time. But we’ve never once talked about our industry. She just became the person I’d go to for an issue with my family or boyfriend. It’s so hard to trust girls, so I’m lucky to have her.” On her innocence : While filming Spring Breakers , “I had to have someone show me how to hold the cigarette.” On this mature movie role : “I know it isn’t for the younger generation I have following me, but I’m also about to be 21. I felt like it was my little side project that I was super excited about, that would be under the radar.”
Being The Bachelor isn’t what it’s cracked up to be for a guy. Well, it is and it isn’t. There are still 26 women, often bikini-clad, desperate for your attention. Still, Sean Lowe says that’s more taxing than you might think. The 29-year-old Dallas native is just one week into reliving his journey, and says it was more physically and emotionally draining than he ever expected. “It wasn’t an easy decision, because when the producers initially approached me, I was still getting over Emily [Maynard] and that was so emotionally taxing ,” he said. “[But] I felt like I owed it to myself to give it one more chance.” In doing so, Sean Lowe found himself even more drained. On last Monday’s premiere, he met plenty of potential favorites, such as Catherine Giudici , and a familiar face in Kacie Boguskie from Ben’s season. Then there were wild cards. He fended off drunk hairstylist Ashley P., but gave a rose to wedding dress-wearing hopeful Lindsay, among other highlights. “That one took me back. My first reaction was like,’I gotta get out of here. This girl’s crazy'” he told E! of his initial reaction to her exit from the limo. “But after sitting down with her, I realized that she just has a really cool sense of humor and I can appreciate that,” he added, keeping an open mind. Understandably, Jodie Foster’s Golden Globes speech sparked discussion raised a lot of questions Sunday night. Three main points she sought to clarify: She’s NOT retiring from acting, despite strong allusions to doing so. She is extremely close with Mel Gibson and is not ashamed of this. The “coming out” portion of her speech is what it is. In her wide-ranging speech, the Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award winner, 50, acknowledged that she’s gay and seemed to hint at retirement. However, on the latter topic, she told reporters a different story later. “I could never stop acting. You’d have to drag me behind, like, a team of horses,” she said, noting that her broader point was “that people change.” “Change is important. You know, hopefully I’ll be doing different things than I did when I was three years old and six years old and ten years old and 20 years old.” “My work is evolving.” As for the more personal aspects of the speech, in which Foster mentioned her former partner and explained she “came out a million years ago” in private? “The speech kind of speaks for itself. It’s a long career, and not just a career; it’s friendships and relationships. I feel like I’m graduating from something,” she said. “It’s a big moment, and I wanted to say, you know, what’s most in my heart.” Jodie Foster Golden Globes Speech The mother Charlie and Kit, her children with Cydney Bernard, added that she wasn’t worried about regretting her Golden Globes speech the day after. “It’s an expression of who I am and what I’m thinking and feeling,” she said. Foster also raised eyebrows when she not only acknowledged close friend Mel Gibson , but said he “saved her,” in her speech – as Mel looked on tearfully. “I know Mel Gibson extremely well, and he’s somebody that I love and that I have worked with and that I respect, and it’s not difficult to say that,” she said. “You know, it’s very easy to say that. The man that I know is a true and loyal friend; he is considerate, loving,” she said of the controversial actor. As for her social commentary on celebrity and media culture – which manifested itself this summer when she defended Kristen Stewart – she added: “I think it’s important that when people are struggling, that you not run away from them if you love them. Kristen, I mean, I look at the room tonight.” “You know, Kristen Stewart and Claire Danes, Jennifer Lawrence, all these young women that I worked with who basically were child actors like I was.” “I feel in many ways very protective of them, because even though I think I have managed to get through the process relatively sanely, I had my scars.” “I hope to be in some ways a member of their family that’s protecting them.”

I never tire of looking at Kristen Stewart. In the new issue of V Magazine , which features the On The Road actress in a 10-page photo spread,by Inez & Vinoodh and on its cover, writer Sarah Cristobal writes that there is “a slightly feral air” to Stewart’s presence, and that’s exactly what makes her so fascinating to watch on and off screen. I wish On The Road had been a more cohesive movie, and a better showcase for Stewart’s talents post- Twilight Saga , but she clearly has no regrets. The actress tells V that the Walter Salles picture has been “a fucking amazing experience. I would have done anything, I would have played any part.” She adds that the character she did play, Marylou, who was based on Beat icon Neal Cassady’s onetime wife LuAnne Henderson, was “remarkable because she has a tough core. When you are a teenager a year can be crippling to maneuver through, you’re just out there questioning things and so to be completely ok with that and not think that there is anything wrong with you, that’s something I’ve recently understood,” says Stewart, who points out that she’s 22 where “Marylou started this whole thing when she was 15.” As Stewart told Movieline , playing Marylou helped her to be “unabashedly” herself , and she elaborates on that theme a bit with V . After a year in which she weathered a storm of overheated Scarlet Letter -style publicity and issued a public apology for cheating on reported boyfriend and Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders , Stewart tells the publication: “I have realized that you can close yourself off to life if you put walls up, but it’s a difficult thing…people can’t see in and you also can’t see out. So I have gotten quire comfortable with just being unafraid. I keep saying the same thing, its not about being fearless but really just embracing the fears and using them. (..) Attention, Internet users: Instagram has an important message to pass along… In response to uproar over the rumor that a new terms of service agreement would allow the company to sell photos without compensating the subject of said photos, co-founder Kevin Systrom has released a statement. “[The new terms of service] was interpreted by many that we were going to sell your photos to others without any compensation. This is not true,” Systrom says. According to the controversial Instagram agreement: “A business or other entity may pay us to display your username, likeness, photos (along with any associated metadata), and/or actions you take, in connection with paid or sponsored content or promotions, without any compensation to you.” But Systrom assures users: “Instagram users own their content and Instagram does not claim any ownership rights over your photos. Nothing about this has changed. We respect that there are creative artists and hobbyists alike that pour their heart into creating beautiful photos, and we respect that your photos are your photos. Period. “I always want you to feel comfortable sharing your photos on Instagram and we will always work hard to foster and respect our community and go out of our way to support its rights.” Are you now satisfied, readers? Following her affair with Rupert Sanders , Kristen Stewart issued an apology to Robert Pattinson . It seems to have worked, as the couple is back together. Now, the actress is doing the same… to all of us! “It’s not a terrible thing if you’re either loved or hated,” Stewart tells Newsweek in an interview. “But honestly, I don’t care ’cause it doesn’t keep me from doing my shit. And I apologize to everyone for making them so angry. It was not my intention.” Kristen went on to dissect her life and the crazy attention both her role in The Twilight Saga has received, along with the flak from the affair. “It’s a little annoying having to be so compartmentalized,” she says of fame. “But I’m going out a lot more now. I was starting to get closed off and self-conscious, and I’m trudging forth into the world more often.” That’s good to hear. But the real question remains: Robert has accepted Kristen’s apology.
