Emily Maynard and Jef Holm are officially over and you simply won’t believe the reason why: Because one half of this Bachelorette -based couple was in the relationship for publicity reasons only. We know! This is the first time that’s ever happened in series history! Previous reports alleged that Maynard was miserable in the relationship, turned off by Holm’s reluctance to serve as a father figure to her daughter Ricki. But sources now tell Us Weekly that Holm was simply too ” fame hungry ,” wanting to “go on Dancing with the Stars ” and to attend restaurant openings over spending time with his fiancee and her child. Considering this is the second engagement ring she has given back, the insider adds that Emily is “sad and embarrassed” by how everything fell apart with Jef. But she may get a chance to make it right with someone else! ABC producers reportedly want her back as The Bachelorette . Yes, AGAIN.
Donald Trump may think Robert Pattinson can do better than Kristen Stewart, but the actor apparently disagrees. Rob was photographed leaving a Prince concert with Stewart in Los Angeles last night, as both stars tried to hide their faces in the back of a SVU. But paparazzi cameras were still able to snap a relatively clear picture of Robsten together again. Rumors of a reconciliation have been going strong for weeks now, of course. Both actors are jetting around the globe in promotion of Breaking Dawn 2 , but they found time for each other during the brief period between media appearances. That has to mean something, right?
The Evil Dead Red Band trailer doesn’t hit the web until tomorrow — look for it here — but in the meantime, here’s a little taste of the horror to come. This 36-second amuse bouche doesn’t give up much until the final moments, especially if you’ve seen the ‘leaked’ trailer that had audiences at NY Comic-Con screaming. But it does feature the eternally amusing Bruce Campbell telling that same audience: “We know what you need. You need horror with blood flowing down the street. We know you need it.” As Campbell — who’s a producer of the remake — told me in an interview at Comic-Con, Uruguayan director Fede Alvarez, who also appears in this clip along with actress Jane Levy, has remade Sam Raimi’s horror-comedy classis as a “dead serious” fright film with a bigger budget and better special effects, but, alas, no cameo by Campbell. The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 machine is underway and the film’s on and off-screen couple are headed out on the road – though separately for now. Kristen Stewart headed to Tokyo to talk up the wildly successful conclusion to the vampire franchise, while Robert Pattinson flew Down Under for his whirlwind of engagements in Australia. While Twilight distributor is holding a strict “no-go” as far as questions about the real-life R-Patz/K-Stew drama that gripped segments of the celebrity-fueled chatter world in late summer/early fall, Pattinson did bring her up at a meeting with Oz journalists and more on his final play as Edward Cullen. Media hounds have prognosticated a real-life reconciliation though Pattinson stayed on script, only talking up the vampire finale. He gave Stewart a shout-out for her transformation into a vampire in the series. “Yeah, she was really excited about being a vampire. Everybody else who’d been pretty consistently in the movies, they’d obviously been playing a vampire like every day for ages. And so it’s funny seeing someone suddenly come into it and try and figure out their own version of the physicality and the mentality of it. But her character has a different thing, because she’s supposed to find it really easy. It’s supposed to be a natural progression for her to become a vampire, it’s supposed to be simple. So I guess it was kind of different. ” The previous four Twilight features have grossed over $3.2 billion worldwide and the features have catapulted Pattinson, Stewart, Taylor Lautner and a host of others into stardom (some into stratospheric stardom) though Pattinson gave a careful response when asked if he’d take part in a new series spin-off if the chance should arise. “I don’t say ‘definitely not’ to anything. Just in case.” Pattinson recalled how he almost quit acting before the first Twilight landed in his lap, but naturally the series changed all that. “Yeah, it is very odd. I think that a lot of actors go through the same thing, when you’ve literally gotta be just like ‘Ugh, this is pointless.’ That’s the only time you ever seem to get any jobs – you’ve gotta be at rock bottom! But yeah, it’s funny. I was like fully, fully intending not to do it anymore, and then this came up.” He said earlier this year during an interview with ShortList.com that he felt sort of “useless” playing the same part over and over. “You just run out of ideas,” he quipped. “You don’t know what to do any more. I’m not trying to get away from it. You’re screwing yourself, you’re saying you think your work is shit if you try to get away from it. And I never thought it was. I kind of got to the end of my inspiration. You get to the point where you’re like, ‘I don’t want to do a film for a teen audience any more.'” Post- Twilight promotion, Pattinson will be heading back to Australia for his next project. “My next thing I’m doing in Australia with this guy David Michod who did ‘Animal Kingdom,’ and Guy Pearce,” he told MTV Australia. “That’s going to be fun.” Directed by Bill Condon, Breaking Dawn – Part 2 opens in the U.S. November 16th. Robert Pattinson , for example, will be a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live on November 5; Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on November 8; and Ellen on November 9. Taylor Lautner , meanwhile, will also stop by Leno on October 31; as well as The Today Show , Live with Kelly and Michael and Fallon all on November 9. Finally, Kristen Stewart , who recently landed in Japan to promote the film abroard, will appear with Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan on November 7. Got all that?!? For the first time since her husband admitted to an affair with Kristen Stewart , Liberty Ross has spoken out and directly addressed the scandal that continues to rock Twilight nation. “I believe we’re all on journeys and we’re all given lessons at certain times in our life, Ross says in a video for Style.com. “Sometimes when things seem really bad you have to be able to see the good and learn from it. And move forward as graciously as possible.” Ross and husband Rupert Sanders have reportedly reconciled, although reports claim the model has put in place certain guidelines if the couple is truly to make it. But she only focused on the positive in the video confessional (below). “I have a really good balance. I’m very happy with my life. I’m lucky. I have good people. I have two amazing children. “[This year was] the end of some things and the beginning of something else. Beginnings and ending are always really exciting.” Stewart and Robert Pattinson , many outlets confirm, are also beginning again as a couple. I want to make it clear that I do not like Kristen Stewart or the Twilight marketing teams strategy to cause bullshit conflict and resolution in “real life” in efforts to remind people they still exist and a new movie is about to drop….August she cheats, October they reconcile, November we release movie….bullshit… I also don’t find her hot, which makes all things Kristen Stewart worse….but I do like voyeurism and being a peeping Tom…and the key to Peeping is you take whatever you get…or whatever is half naked across the street while you’re masturbating….. Those out there who might dismiss the final Twilight pic Breaking Dawn Part 2 as just another vampire movie sequel heavy on Bella Swan’s moony-eyed sighs and Edward Cullen’s sparkly undead chest, consider: This new behind-the-scenes featurette peels back the curtain to reveal the massive sets, wire work, and action set pieces Bill Condon wrangled for the highly anticipated franchise-ender — starting with Kristen Stewart going Over The Top with a little arm-wrestling action! I wish the Twilight Saga took Bella on an arm-wrestling tour of bars and truck stops with her newfound vampire strength, but alas. Stewart does, however, get to leap over giant chasms (okay, that’s probably her stunt double but still ) and do a bit of tandem vampire-fu with Robert Pattinson . The clip also features cast mates explaining further for the uninitiated the idea of half-vamp baby Renesmee and why Michael Sheen and his Italo-vampires want her dead.
