As weddings go, yes, there most definitely is one — possibly two, if you believe Robert Pattinson . Kristen Stewart ‘s Bella finally gets her way during the honeymoon . Then there’s the emotion-soaked pregnancy that puts Bella in peril once more, and all the dominoes that are set off for the pair and for Taylor Lautner ‘s Jacob as a result. Pattinson, Stewart and Lautner talked up the first installment of the Twilight finale Thursday ahead of its debut Nov. 18, with a surprise news conference appearance by series author Stephenie Meyer, who shared some tidbits from her stint as producer.

When MTV News’ Josh Horowitz sat down with Kristen Stewart , Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner for “MTV First” and asked the cast questions submitted via Twitter, it was no surprise that the fans wanted to know more. One of the first questions asked was: “Rob and Kristen, was it extremely awkward filming the love scene in the movie? Were you guys laughing a lot throughout?” Both Stewart and Pattinson turned quiet after hearing the question, and the answer was unanimous and definitely a joke. “Super serious,” Pattinson said. “Yeah, me too,” Stewart agreed. The mood was certainly lighthearted and jokey, but Stewart ended up giving the question a serious answer. “Not to give anything away … You’ve been working for so long, and it’s also not real,” Stewart said. “It’s not just human sex. It’s … obviously blown a little bit out of proportion, slightly. It’s kind of like the most important scene in the movie. It’s so weird.” Pattinson agreed and shared his own, let’s say, intimate experiences filming the love scene. “I just ended up thinking purely about vanity things,” Pattinson said. “You’re sitting there in a little g-string. … They give me a big g-string, but it was too small for me. Lady Gaga will sit down with ABC’s Katie Couric for a TV special that will air three weeks from tonight. Its title is short, sweet and holiday-themed: A Very Gaga Thanksgiving. The special promises an intimate look inside the private life of the pop superstar, who will perform eight songs – including ” Marry the Night ,” ” You and I ,” ” The Edge of Glory ,” “White Christmas” and “Lady and the Tramp” with Tony Bennett. The audience: Her own friends and family. “We all know Lady Gaga is a phenomenon. This is a chance to see more of who she is beneath the wild costumes and staged musical numbers,” says Couric . “She will impress you, delight you and surprise you.” The 90-minute special (November 24, 8 p.m. ET) will also feature an interview with Couric, who will sit down at Sacred Heart Catholic School in Manhattan. At Gaga’s alma later, the women will discuss the New Yorker’s music, her relationships, her rise to stardom, her life in the spotlight … and her love of deep-fried turkey and waffles, which she’ll make with the help of chef Art Smith. Before doctors advised Rihanna to cancel her concert in Sweden , the star was seen walking around her hotel, looking happy and strong despite the ailment. The Barbadian has been battling a nasty case of the flu, and has now been forced to call off her second show in as many days this week because of exhaustion. “Sorry Malmo!!! #LOUDtour,” Rihanna tweeted Monday, along with a pic of herself hooked up to IVs. “I am sorry to everyone who was coming out to my show.” “I was so excited to perform for you. Now, Brit is taking the Backstreet Boy on tour with her in South America. By Jocelyn Vena Howie D Photo: MTV News Britney Spears may be the leading lady on the Femme Fatale Tour, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t want to bring some guys along for the ride. Next up, Backstreet Boy Howie D is slated to hit the road with Spears, following in the footsteps of DJ Pauly D and Joe Jonas . The South American tour dates — which kick off November 20, days after Howie releases his solo album Back to Me — were an enticing offer to the pop singer. “I embraced it with open arms,” he told MTV News of the trek, which ends November 28. “She’s such a great, talented person. We’ve known each other for many, many years.” He isn’t lying: Howie and Britney grew up together in the industry, with the Backstreet Boys and Spears two of the figureheads of the late-’90s pop revival. Howie said they’re rooted in the same place, which will lend itself nicely to touring together. “We kind of came out of the same camp, out of the Orlando pop scene with us and ‘NSYNC and Britney,” he recalled. “I feel like we’ve all grown together and have very similar, parallel lives with us and our music, [with] certain moments being very, very hot, certain moments not, and just riding the wave up and down as it’s going. Even [with our] personal lives, having families, having kids. I have a huge respect for her, not only as an artist, but as a person. It’s good to be around people you’ve known and people you’ve grown up with.” So what keeps people coming back for more from the likes of Howie and Britney? He has a theory: “It’s a test of good music being out there,” he said. “We really take pride in making good records, timeless records, and being true to our craft and trying to give our fans what they want … trying to constantly take each record to the next level, push the envelope.” Do you want Howie to tour with Britney in the States? And while the simple action left a big impression on Twilighters, Pattinson later admitted to MTV News that he didn’t even remember filming the now-iconic scene. “I remember seeing that scene and thinking, ‘I don’t remember doing that,’ ” Pattinson recalled. “That’s a little saucy. Well, it happens to be Lautner’s reveal of his very cut abs in “New Moon.” Long before that scene was captured on film, there had been fan chatter about whether a teenage Lautner could beef up enough to keep his part of werewolf Jacob Black in the second installment of the “Twilight Saga.” Determined to prove to naysayers that he had the muscle for the role, Lautner hit the gym and showed that he had the ambition, drive and physical bulk to keep the role. “I have been working out,” Lautner told MTV News in December 2008. “I’ve been working out since the day we stopped filming ‘Twilight.’ I just weighed myself today; put on 19 pounds [and] guaranteeing [director Chris] Weitz 10 more by filming.” All the promises and hard work paid off. The reveal of his admirable physique in the movie remains a fan favorite as our voters revealed.
