Reese Witherspoon finds Robert Pattinson ” amazing and wonderful .” Then why was the actress disgusted by a sex scene between the pair while shooting Water for Elephants ? We’ll let her explain… “Rob possibly had the most hideous horrible cold of any co-star I’ve ever had to do a love scene with ever in my entire life,” Witherspoon told In Touch Weekly . “He was literally snorting and snotting through every second of it… I’m talking green, infectious, disgusting. I’m not kidding!”
Britney Spears has just released an alternate version of her music video for “Till The World Ends,” and this one is light on apocalypse, heavy on Britney. Focused almost exclusively on the pop star’s dance moves and less on the original’s crazy special effects, it’s a more traditional music video in a sense. No end-of-the-world shots, doomsday references or general craziness here. Just dancing, partying and a sprinkler system. In other words … NICE! Britney Spears – DANCE Till The World Ends Check out the original version after the jump and see which of the two you like better. Videos aside, it’s one of her catchier tunes in years, right? Kobe Bryant was fined a whopping $100,000 for calling NBA ref Bennie Adams a f*****g f****t the other night, a penalty he plans to appeal. While trying to get the fine reduced is standard protocol, the L.A. Lakers star says the utterance was NOT standard for him, nor should it be. The NBA great called the president of the Human Rights Campaign, a gay rights organization, and apologized for using the gay slur last night. Kobe Bryant Curses at Ref Joe Solmonese said this after speaking with Bryant: “I applaud Kobe for his swift apology. We had a very sincere conversation in which he expressed his heartfelt regret for the hurt his words caused.” “He told me that it’s never OK to degrade or tease, and he understands how his words could give the impression that this is appropriate. At the end of a difficult day, I applaud Kobe for coming forward and taking responsibility for his actions.” Kobe also told ESPN that his concern is that for those who look up to him “not to take what was said as a message of hate or a license to degrade, or to embarrass or tease, because that’s something I don’t wanna see have happen.”
Another week, another major dose of Teen Mom drama – times two. Teen Mom 2’s Leah Messer and Corey Simms – parents of 16-month-old twins Aleeah and Aliannah – just got married in October. But after myriad problems and months of fighting constantly, the pair have finally separated – perhaps for good. “Corey is going to file for divorce,” a close friend said . TRUE OR FALSE : Considering the source(s), you never know . The accounts of these two celebrity gossip publications differ, but the point is that Corey left her. In Touch claims he took money for the twins and bought a truck! OK! also hints at money problems between them, but another final straw . Fed up with Leah’s obsession with buying a better house, Corey Simms left her. Meanwhile, Corey is bunking with his own mother, rent-free. There you have it. “He and Leah have been living apart for two weeks, and he’s been very happy,” the pal adds. If that’s true, well … it’s very sad for everyone. Poor little tykes.
So much for Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart taking a break . Their days on the set of Breaking Dawn may be coming to an end now that the film is nearing the end of production, but the two are closer than ever in real life. Case in point? The “promise ring” Rob just offered his lady love! “The ring is rose-cut diamonds set in rose gold,” says a friend of the rock, which reportedly set him back $17K. “It’s a very feminine piece of jewelry. Very old.” BENDED KNEE : How long until Rob gets down on one for real? The one thing we don’t buy about this story? Kristen Stewart is kind of a tomboy. It’s hard to imagine her wearing diamonds (even from Robert Pattinson). Still, sources say he’s ready, willing and able to take it to the next level! “Rob is more mature than Kristen and and he’s ready to settle down,” says an insider. So is marriage next for one of Hollywood’s hottest young couples? We can only hope, THG readers. We can only hope.
When the news about Home Premiere — the DirecTV service that will allow subscribers to watch relatively new movies in their homes 60 days after release for the totally reasonable price of $30 — leaked during CinemaCon two weeks ago, the National Association of Theater Owners was predictably upset: “[We] repeatedly, publicly and privately, raised concerns and questions about the wisdom [of early on-demand movies],” said the group in a statement . “These studios have made their decision in what they no doubt perceive to be their best interests. Theater owners will do the same.” So they have — and now it affects you.
Next! Hugh Jackman has followed in the footsteps of Viggo Mortensen and won’t star in Snow White and the Huntsman opposite Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron — TheWrap reports that negotiations between Jackman and Universal broke down. Somewhere, The Brothers Grimm: Snow White is smiling arrogantly. [ Wrap ]
