That’s right, folks, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are inviting A-list guests such as Katy Perry and Charlize Theron to their upcoming nuptials, which the latest issue of OK! Weekly dubs the Wedding of the Year in a cover story that can only be described as… existing. Clearly wanting to show up Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth , the magazine’s totally not made up insider says Pattinson is penning a song for Stewart and “plans to perform it for her on the vintage Fender guitar she bought him for Christmas last year” during their reception. Where might the event take place? Brazil, claims the source, adding that “Rob and Kristen want their wedding to be beautiful and meaningful – but not so over planned that it chokes all the joy out of it.” Well, sure. That would ruin any imaginary wedding.
If Catherine Hardwicke had her way, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart might never have gotten together. For real! While it’s nearly impossible now to imagine R. Patt without his K. Stew – just watch this adorable video of Robsten cuddling and kissing ! – the Twilight director tells Elle Magazine that she noticed chemistry right away between the potential co-stars… and feared its consequences. “Rob and Kristen sat down at the table and did the biology scene,” Hardwicke said of Pattinson’s audition. “I felt the sparks. I could see the attraction. Kristen was very vocal – she knew she had the strongest connection with Rob. I said, ‘Let me have a day to see if it translates to the screen.'” We all know it did, of course. But Robert was 21 at the time and Kristen only 17, which led Hardwicke to warn her handsome leading man: ‘She’s underage, don’t even think about it! It’s a law in our country.'” Fortunately, Pattinson and Stewart evaded the police until the latter turned 18 and have been happily dating ever since.

By Kara Warner Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson in “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1” Photo: Summit Entertainment Full disclosure about my love for “Twilight”: I don’t so much love the books and movies as much as I completely and totally adore the franchise’s loyal, enthusiastic, entertaining fans. Really it’s their passion and dedication that keeps me interested in the whole thing as we inch closer and closer to the release of the final film, “Breaking Dawn – Part 2.” That’s why I’ve decided to dedicate this week’s “Twilight” Tuesday to one of the many groups of fans with whom I’ve become acquainted with over the last few years, Kristen Stewart’s Hot Bodyguard , more specifically, the three lovely ladies who birthed the creative and entertaining concept: Lynsey Jacob, Sarah Morrill and Jennifer Kelley. “Kristen Stewart’s Hot Bodyguard” is a Facebook group dedicated to, you guessed it, Kristen Stewart ‘s hot bodyguard. The origin of their popular group (3,000 members and growing!) can be traced to first glimpses of said bodyguard during the “Eclipse” press tour, followed by an in-person encounter at Stewart’s NYC promotion for “Welcome to the Rileys,” and then an excellent bit of brainstorming during a walk to the subway that begot the term “HBG” (Hot Bodyguard) and the Facebook page. Since then, the ladies have kept close tabs on their man via photos, fellow fans and making the occasional trip to a major event. (I was lucky enough to meet Jacob, Morrill and Kelley at such an event, last year’s “Breaking Dawn – Part 1” premiere. “The goal is always to get a wave,” Jacob told MTV News of the most memorable aspects of their HBG sightings. “It’s exciting. Another one that always cracks me up is watching all of the tweets about HBG when there’s an event going on. When he wasn’t at the Kids’ Choice Awards, people were freaking out. And these tweets are from around the world! Half the time it’s in another language.” “I actually really enjoy making graphics and fun little [themed] pictures for the page,” Morrill added. “I also designed the shirts that we made for the ‘Breaking Dawn’ premiere last year and have already started working on some ideas for this year’s shirts and other swag. Other than that, it’s always cool to see how excited the fans get when we post new pictures or videos of HBG, especially because I’m just as excited to see them as they are! We will be representing Team HBG to its fullest at the ‘Breaking Dawn -Part 2’ premiere in L.A. in November and are excited to meet new fans and see some old ones from the premiere last year.” One thing to point out about these ladies is that they don’t take themselves too seriously. Yes, they are dedicated fans, but they also just want to continue to have fun with the concept. “When Stephenie Meyer grabbed a hold of our HBG heads on a stick and took photos with them, that was so cool,” Jacobs recalled of the author embracing their “fan art” at last year’s premiere. “We were always worried that people would think we were crazy instead of just creative fans, but overall, the page and the whole concept has been really well-received.” “My dream for the group is for it to continue for as long as possible, maybe even until a gray-haired HBG is beating away the paparazzi with his cane in order to protect Kristen,” Morrill joked. “Truthfully, when we started this page a year and half ago, we never could have imagined what it would become. People around the world now refer to Kristen Stewart’s bodyguard as “HBG.” We did that. Stephenie Meyer knows who we are. Kristen mentioned our page in an article for British GQ last year. The awesome folks at MTV think we’re cool. It really doesn’t get much better than that! ‘MTV First: Snow White & the Huntsman’ debuts new clip and cast interview Tuesday night at 7:56 p.m. on MTV and MTV.com. By Josh Horowitz Kristen Stewart Photo: MTV News At a time when it seems like virtually every movie at the multiplex is based on a fairy tale, comic book or best-selling YA novel, “Snow White & the Huntsman” checks off all the boxes even if it’s none of the above as well. Confusing? Well, the cast is clearly borne of past successful franchises, namely Kristen Stewart (have you heard of her?) coming off of “Twilight” and Chris Hemsworth dropping his Thor hammer in favor of an ax this go-round. And of course the film is inspired by one of the most cherished fairy tales of our youth. But look more closely at “SWATH” (as fans have quickly taken to calling it) and the film clearly owes more to Tolkien than to Walt Disney. And I think that’s why we’re all excited for its June 1 release. I know that’s the case for me. It doesn’t hurt that Charlize Theron looks to be chewing some scenery in a fun way with a diabolical take on the evil queen (much more fetching than the one in the cartoon of my youth, as I recall). Tuesday night (at 7:56 p.m. on MTV & MTV.com to be precise) we’re debuting “MTV First: Snow White & the Huntsman.” As usual, we’ll be debuting a never-before-seen clip, and I’ll be sitting down with the cast (Stewart, Hemsworth, Theron and Sam Claflin, who portrays the prince in the tale) for a 30-minute interview. We taped the special a little while back, which means I can share something fun and exciting with you: Kristen Stewart’s very first participation in “After Hours.” And what better franchise to start her off on than “The Yes/No Show”? [EMBED YES/NO SHOW] There’s a lot more where that came from on the full show Tuesday night, including tons of insight into the filming, the actors’ takes on their iconic characters, Chris and Kristen’s weapons technique and a near-breakup fight between Kristen and me. A Second Look I got a chance to see “Avengers” for the second time over the weekend, this time in good old 2-D (and I’d recommend seeing it this way, by the way). And by gosh, I might have enjoyed it more the second time around. I have a bunch of conflicting feelings about the movie. After my first viewing, I was pretty convinced that while I had a great time watching it, it’s less satisfying to me than most of the previous films. If we’re looking at the recent bevy of Marvel flicks, “Captain America” is my favorite, delivering the most full-bodied experience (i.e., it’s got the cool stunts and humor but it’s also got a great character arc at its core). But a funny thing happened as “Avengers” rolled the second time around: I let go of my hang-ups with the story (er, there isn’t much of one) and I let myself fully geek out for two hours at what Joss Whedon and company expertly did: create the purest fanboy-friendly film ever made.
