Well, an Ethan Hawke-lead horror thriller with a ridiculous premise becomes the number one movie in America. The Purge won the weekend, earning $36.38 million. It’s tough work being the $125,000 vehicle of Kylie Jenner. Fortunately, the 15-year old – who is learning how to drive on this season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians – is there for the Mercedes-Benz G-Class SUV, Tweeting last week that she was taking it for a “spa day.” “giving the G wagon a spa day! Follow @spinimaging to see her new look,” Jenner wrote, including a picture of the car and, of course, making serious money by mentioning the handle of Spin Imaging in Long Beach. After getting the SUV back, Kylie added: “Thank you @spinimaging for matting my G!! I can’t stop staring at it.” So, to recap: Kylie Jenner does not yet have a license. But she does own a $125,000 car. And she just banked thousands of dollars by referencing a service shop on Twitter via an advertising deal with that company. Could anything sum this family up any better?

Peep the quotes below: Glamour: Your family leads such a public life. Is that a good thing? Kylie: Our family is closer because of the show. And when we are older, we’ ll have the memories on tape. If some of those moments hadn’t been filmed, I wouldn’t remember them! Kendall: We appreciate everything that we have, but we don’t remember what it’s like to be normal kids who aren’t harassed by the paparazzi. I hate that. We’re underage girls. She’s our peacemaker. Kourtney keeps us down-to-earth. Kylie: Kim teaches us how to deal with the spotlight. Glamour: Between your brothers—Brody, Brandon, Burt, and Rob—and your sisters’ partners, Lamar, Scott, and Kanye, there are a lot of men in your lives. Are they protective? Kylie: Rob checks on me at least three times a day, and Lamar wants to meet any guy we’re talking to. Just yesterday Scott was going over the kind of guy I should date. Glamour: We have to ask: Do you ever think about the fact that your last name isn’t Kardashian? Kendall: We’re full-throttle Jenners! We don’t have any desire to be Kardashians. Kylie: All that matters is that we’re a family. We guess there are a lot of benefits to being Kendall and Kylie and not being Kardashians — like for example, they’re not hairy Armenians like Kim. Riiiiiiiight??? We almost felt bad for Kendall for a brief moment as she lamented the trials of Instagram haters and being followed by the paparazzi. MTV News got the chance to hang out with the reality show princesses and Seventeen magazine fashionistas on Robertson Boulevard in sunny Los Angeles, where they dished all about cool summer styles and what they wear when the weather gets boiling hot. They picked out some of their choice looks at L.A. staples Alice + Olivia and Kitson. “Some of the big trends for summer? I love colored shorts and I think those are coming back, just bright things,” Kendall shared. “I have so many bright-colored jeans now.” Kylie agreed about the color trend for this summer, adding that “color blocking, just a bunch of patterns and crazy stuff” top her favorite-looks list. “Jumpers are just, like, amazing for summer,” she said. “So easy. You can throw it on, go to the mall, who knows?” Meanwhile, Kendall weighed in on her other must-haves. “These shorts [are] so cool,” she said. “The pattern, the American flag, and just how they’re different [and] no one really has them. I think that’s sick for summer.” Another sick piece? “I love mullet dresses,” she said of dresses with a high-low hemline. “I think they are so cute. They show off your legs.” Kylie, who chooses Blake Lively as her fashionista of choice, had a preppier pick for her summer go-to staple. “Also for the summer [are] collared shirts. You can get the craziest collared shirts and put them with simple jeans … and it’s so cute and classy, and it’s such a great look.” Lively may be Kylie’s favorite style icon, but Kendall kept her pick in the family. ” My sister Kourtney , she’s been wearing lots of bright colors ’cause she’s so cute and little and pregnant,” she raved about her big sister.
