Relax, 24 million monsters. It’s just a joke. Despite a picture posted to photographer friend Terry Richardson’s blog with the caption “showing off her new engagement ring,” Lady Gaga is single. One can see how confusion might arise, but rest assured, our girl is really not engaged to recent ex Taylor Kinney or anyone else for that matter. Richardson, whose job is apparently to produce viral content like Lindsay Lohan pics or the Kate Upton “Cat Daddy” video, posted the photo on Sunday. The two have been collaborating on a new book of Lady Gaga photos, which is how this image – of her showing off a massive diamond ring – came to be. Gaga and Kinney ( The Vampire Diaries, Chicago Fire ) had been dating for the better part of a year, but reportedly broke up for good a few weeks back. Christian groups in South Korea called on Friday for the pop star to cancel her concert there, saying it’s “pornographic” and pro-homosexuality. South Korea’s government has already bowed to public pressure and banned people under 18 from attending, but certain protesters said that was not enough. “Even adults can’t see her performance which is too homosexual and pornographic,” said Rev. Yoon Jung-hoon, organizer of “Civilians Network against the Lady Gaga Concert.” “Some people can simply accept this as another culture but its impact is huge beyond art and debases religions.” The singer’s hit song “Born This Way” celebrates the empowerment of gay men and women, something that many in South Korea, which is the second most Christian country in Asia after the Philippines, say is an immoral lifestyle. No word if they’ve even heard the Lady Gaga hermaphrodite rumor. The star has been in Seoul for close on a week as she kicks off her Asian “Born this Way” tour. So far, the backlash doesn’t seem to have fazed her. “Nervous for tonight. Hope I make little monsters happy and proud,” she Tweeted a few hours before the concert kicked off. Yoon’s group claims to have collected 5,000 supporters on Facebook against the concert and some have also called for a boycott of the sponsor Hyundai. “The Christian Council of Korea with 12 million Christians and 55,000 churches will take all kinds of measures such as boycotting Hyundai to root out this kind of obscene culture,” the council said in a statement. Yoon said he would attend the concert to “monitor” the much-anticipated performance for homosexual content that could corrupt young people. Have fun with that.

Well, it looks like Lionsgate has picked their pony in the Catching Fire directing race ; I Am Legend director Francis Lawrence has reportedly been offered the job to helm the Hunger Games sequel, which is set to start filming on a tight schedule this August. Lawrence has three features under his belt, in addition to music videos for the likes of J. Lo and Britney Spears; he most recently directed Robert Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon in Water for Elephants (but also made 2005’s Constantine ). Lawrence is said to have gotten the offer over Moneyball ‘s Bennett Miller, who Deadline reports was “very interested” in the gig but wanted to take time to film his Foxcatcher first. So what is there to say about Lionsgate’s choice? At least Lawrence has experience handling visual effects, building devastated but slick near-futuristic worlds, and working with teen heartthrobs. And hey, he won a Grammy (for directing Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance” video)! So there’s that. If Katniss Everdeen finds herself besieged in a techno bathhouse in the Simon Beaufoy-penned sequel, he’ll know what to do. Lady Gaga may be cutting herself off from interviews , but in her last sit-down before that self-imposed time out, the star’s giving us plenty to talk about. Showing her maternal side in a recent chat with Oprah Winfrey (airing tomorrow night on OWN), Gaga says she not only wants kids, but a lot of them. A “soccer team” full of them, to quote the Mother Monster. “Yeah, yeah, I do,” a (relatively) conservatively dressed Gaga, 25, told the talk show host, 58, when asked if she was serious about wanting a large family. “I mean maybe I’m being a bit superfluous [about the soccer team], but I don’t want to have one [child], I want a few,” the Grammy nominee said. Lady Gaga adds that she also wants a husband. Making a gesture to indicate a baby bump, the singer tells Winfrey, “I want to experience that.” But Taylor Kinney is off the hook for now. Don’t expect her to settle down anytime soon. Gaga wants a family – just “not yet,” she says with a smile. For now, she’ll have to settle for 20 million Little Monsters on Twitter.
