Chris Paul just needs to kick David Stern in the nards and not play this season. After killing the Chris Paul trade to the LA Lakers for “basketball reasons”, the NBA has killed a trade that would send him to the Clippers. This is just getting insane. According to reports, the Clippers’ package for the Hornets’ superstar wasn’t enough, therefore nixing the second proposed Paul trade to Los Angeles over the last few days. The Clippers’ package was supposed to feature high-scorer Eric Gordon, center Chris Kaman and second-year forward Al-Farouq Aminu, with possibly an unprotected first-round draft pick from Minnesota for this coming draft going to the Hornets. But that still did not satisfy the league and the Clippers reportedly pulled out because it did not want to surrender any more assets. The deal would have been huge for the Staples Center’s No. 2 tenants, since Paul would have been able to join forces with Blake Griffin, a budding superstar and last year’s runaway winner inthe Rookie of the Year sweepstakes As you can imagine, Twitter is in another outrage based on this turn of events. I have loved and believed in Justin Bieber for so long. He’s made me cry from happiness and given me hope when I was completely bummed out on whatever I was going through in life. It’s not just that he’s famous and completely and utter hotty, it’s the fact that he has so much in him that attracts you to want him. My biggest wish is to meet him one day, actually have a conversation and hang out. So that I can find his faults and he can see what I can be like instead of seeing me as some crazy fan. Hey, my name’s Natasha. No, I didn’t meet Justin Bieber, although I did meet Scooter Braun. I tried getting a concert ticket to see Justin Bieber but they sold out so quickly I never had the change to buy one. I had to try everything I could to get my hands on a ticket. I registered into competitions, I searched eBay, I asked friends and then one night a friend had two! She was selling them last minute because she had extras. I told my parents, they said yes but when I got back to her, she had already sold them. I didn’t win any of the contests and was left devastated and crying. My dad suggested we go to the entertainment centre the night of Bieb’s concert to see if anybody had a ticket they were selling. We got ready and went. I was stressing and honestly didn’t have much hope at all. We probably stayed there for about 2 hours, but when it got to 7:30pm I decided it was probably time to give up. I sat down and tried not to cry or stress anymore but a second later a guy appears. He just looked like an ordinary guy that was taking his daughter in or something. He said, ”Hey, do you have a ticket?” ”Um, nope..” (I wasn’t sure who he was and didn’t exactly know why he was talking to me) Then he said, “Never say never right?” ”Hah.. yeah, just seeing if we can find some last minute tickets” He then waved over to a guy in a hoodie who came over . As soon as he took off his hoodie and I could see his face, I knew who he was. Scooter Braun , was standing right infront of me, I WAS GOING CRAZY, but I didn’t show it haha. The guy said, “This is Scooter Braun” and I was like, ”I KNOW!!!!” All of a sudden, Scooter Braun handed me the ticket. I blurted out, ”OMG REALLY!? ARGH! CAN I HUG YOU”, but without a reply, I still jumped up and hugged him. He told me to quickly hurry because the concert had already started but Justin hadn’t come out yet. It was the last ticket he had, so my dad just waited in the car. I explained exactly what happened to my dad and told him I’d call him after the concert, hugged him and went in. Scooter said, “It’s just like you’re in the movie!” The other guy who talked to me first turned out to be Justin Bieber’s drum tech. I had a bit of a conversation with him about how there time has been in Brisbane and whatever I could really talk about since I was so excited and trying not to cry and go crazy. Scooter led me to a door into the concert, we took a quick photo and then the drum tech guy took me to my seat. I was four rows from the stage, dead set centre on the floor. It was amazing, I thought I would have just gotten some seat up high far away, but it was the best seat anyone could ask for . That night was one of my most beloved memories ever. It was the best experience and just AHHH. Justin was of course amazing and I was singing, dancing and jumping around the whole time. My name is Rachael Dornauf, I’m from Melbourne Australia and I never thought that I’d be writing my own Bieber experience. It all started when I was in L.A and I had tickets for his concert at the Staples Center. I was so excited that I was actually going to be 12 rows away from Justin and thought that nothing could ever be better then this. The concert was amazing, Jaden, Willow Smith, Sean kingston, Usher, and all the opening acts were there! The next night, we went to the Lakers game and all I could think of was how much I just wanted to see Justin again. Then I see this kid down the bottom doing the Bieb hair flip. I was like OMG it’s Justin with Jaden Smith! I couldn’t help but watch him the whole game instead of the Lakers! Then Justin’s tickets went on sale in Australia. I managed to snap up 2 VIP tickets for the first night. I screamed and cried of excitement! A month or two later, mum surprised me with 2 more VIP tickets for the next night in the exact same spot. I couldn’t believe it. I was the luckiest girl in the world! At the concert, Kenny walked by and he gave me a high five and then Alfredo walked past and I was like, “HEYYY ALFREDO” and he started laughing, and we started talking about his camera. When Justin came out on stage, he actually stared at me! I even recorded it. I thought it was the best night of my life until the next night. My brother rings up and says 4 hours before the concert, “Get ready in half an hour. We have to take you early or else you won’t be able to get there”. I was like okay?? and started rushing like a mad person to get ready! Then my sister rang and was like, “Are you getting ready? Make sure you do your hair good and dress good”. I was like, “You seriously want me to get ready and dress good in 20 minutes?”. Then she said, “Well you better, you’re meeting Justin” . I was literally speechless for like 2 minutes, I kept telling her over and over you can’t make jokes like that! Turns out my mum brought me a early birthday present from Pencils Of Promise! When we got there, I walked around the corner and Justin was there. He just looked like he was just a wax figure from Madam Tussauds. My heart was pounding out of my chest and it just felt like I was in a dream. I was like, “Omg” and he said, “Hey whats up, how are you?”. His voice is so sexy! He hugged me and I didnt want to let go! We got our photo taken. We then said goodbye and stuff and I started to walk of and I was like, “Oh wait, I forgot to give him my letter”. I handed it to him and he was like, “Awww thank you” and put it in his back pocket . I couldn’t stop smiling. Justin must have recognized me because he smiled and pointed at me. Then during ‘Eenie Meenie’, he stopped right infront of me bent down and sang to me which seemed like forever right in my eyes . Dan threw a guitar pick at Kenny like a meter away from me. I was like “Kenny!” and he walked over and handed it to me! When I thought things couldn’t get any better, at the end of the concert when they were packing up and stuff, Dan ran back on stage grabbed the setlist comes running towards me and points right at me and bent down, smiled and handed me the set list! It definitely was the most amazing thing that ever happened in my life and it all still feels like a dream! I never felt so lucky. After popping all that yang about how he wanted Laura Govan to get some reality TV checks so he could cut back on child support , Gilbert Arenas has had a change of heart. So now he’s borrowing a page out of the Dwight Howard/Chris Bosh book of Baby Mama Handling. According to reports, he has filed a lawsuit to stop Laura Govan from exploiting his image. The Orlando Magic guard has asked a judge to pull the plug on VH1′s “Basketball Wives: LA” before it even airs because the show stars Laura Govan, the mother of his four children. In his lawsuit, Arenas charged that “the very presence of defendent Govan and the title of the show is an obvious reference to [Arenas].” Even though Arenas will not be mentioned on the show, his name was used in a press release to promote “Basketball Wives: LA.” Not only does Arenas not want the show to air, he also wants money from Govan. Arenas isn’t the only Magic player with an ex on “Basketball Wives.” The mother of Dwight Howard’s son, Royce Reed, a former Magic and Miami Heat dancer, stars on the Florida version, which is currently in its third season. Howard has successfully blocked Reed from mentioning him or their child on-air. “Basketball Wives: LA” is set to air August 29 and will also star Kimsha Artest (wife of the Lakers’ Ron Artest), Govan’s sister Gloria Govan (fiancee of the Lakers’ Matt Barnes) and Jackie Christie (wife of former Clippers player Doug Christie).
