Yes, Khloe Kardashian is featured on the latest cover of People Magazine. Yes, she opens up to that magazine about Lamar Odom, about her past with the former basketball star and her future as he looks to recover from a significant health scare. But, no, Khloe wants to make very clear: She did NOT jump at some opportunity to exploit Odom’s situation for fame, money or publicity. In a series of Twitter messages, Khloe addresses those who have criticized her for talking to the press during this difficult time, telling them to basically zip it. Because they are utterly clueless. “I want to make this VERY clear…My People cover, I shot and interviewed for PRIOR to all the events that happened,” Khloé wrote. “It was contracted press for my book that I wrote months and months ago. Timing is what it is.” It is true that Kardashian is coming out with a self-help memoir on November 3. It is titled “Strong Looks Better Naked” and she canceled a scheduled book tour due to events surrounding Odom. “Shame on you all for thinking the worst of me. It’s been a tough few weeks. I don’t need your f–ked up energy!” Khloe added. “Know the facts before you throw stones. With reports claiming that Lamar’s condition is still very touch and go , with multiple surgeries and kidney dialysis needed, family friends say Rob is eager to help any way he can. In a special report from The Doctors , an insider close to the family reveals that though Rob has no idea if he would even be a match at the moment, he is willing to take whatever tests and undergo any procedures it takes to determine this for sure and help his “brother” Lamar: Aww, nice right? It’s not exactly shocking that Lamar Odom had cocaine in his system when he nearly died from an overdose at a Nevada brothel. Most of us assumed as much, but didn’t know for sure. Until now: News media and fans alike were only speculating about the cause of Odom’s twelve strokes before the newly-released toxicology report. That report could spell trouble for Lamar, too. TMZ is reporting that Odom tested positive for cocaine according to lab results that were just turned over to law enforcement today. Nye County sheriff Sharon Wehrly previously said she plans to prosecute if there is evidence that Lamar was using illegal drugs on the night he OD’d. Yes, you may not expect it from the state that’s home Sin City and legal prostitution, but Nevada has some pretty tough drug laws. As a result, the 35-year-old athlete may find himself forced to go before a judge once he’s able to leave a Los Angeles hospital. Lamar Odom Still Fighting For His Health In LA Hospital While reports are largely rejoicing over Lamar’s miraculous recovery after his ill-fated bender in a Las Vegas brothel …a new report is claiming that his condition remains extremely serious. Despite the great strides he made in the last few days, the former baller still has a long road to travel, and wife Khloe has apparently been keeping his progress under wraps while she privately deals with his recovery. Via Us Weekly : Lamar Odom still needs all the good vibes he can get. Despite recent improvements — his aunt said on Thursday, Oct. 22, that he’s begun to “flourish both mentally and physically” — a source tells Us Weekly that there are a lot of unknown variables in the former NBA star’s recovery. “Lamar is not out of the woods,” the source shares. “I think it’s still really touch-and-go. Khloe [Kardashian] is not really responding to friends who’ve reached out; I think she’s just in a bubble with her family right now.” Indeed, the insider says the whole Kardashian-Jenner clan has been affected by Odom’s scare. Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are officially giving their marriage another try! TMZ is reporting that a lawyer for Khloe went to court today to inform a judge that the couple would like to halt divorce proceedings and withdraw documents they’d already signed, as they now plan to stay married. The decision was obviously spurred at least in part by the overdose that nearly killed Odom last week, Khloe has been by Lamar’s bedside ever since he was hospitalized in Nevada on October 13. Earlier this week, she paid for Odom to be transferred to an LA hospital so that she could better care for him. Even with Khloe’s obvious concern and affection for Odom, the couple’s decision to remain married comes as a major shock. After all, Khloe was in a serious relationship with NBA star James Harden at the time of Odom’s overdose. Now, it seems the rumors that Khloe has dumped Harden in order to rekindle her romance with Odom are true. We know difficult circumstances sometimes bring people closer together, but Khloe and Lamar (who separated way back in 2013) might be moving just a tad too quickly. Of course, the Kardashians aren’t exactly known for taking their time and making level-headed decisions when it comes to men. Anyway, congrats to the happy couple!
