Khloe & Lamar to End After Season 2

Lamar Odom has succeeded where so many before him have failed: at standing up to Kris Jenner. The Kardashian matriarch had reportedly been pressuring her son-in-law to give up professional basketball and dedicate himself fully to the life of a talentless, shameless hack reality TV star. But TMZ now confirms Odom has gone in the opposite direction and will be concluding his series with wife Khloe Kardashian after this season in order to focus on his faltering NBA career. The heretofore solid sixth man was placed on the inactive list by the Dallas Mavericks a few weeks ago after failing to connect with teammates, showing general laziness and falling to career lows in points and rebounds. He’s now intent, though, on reviving his career, with insiders saying he’ll reside full-time in Los Angeles and work out with personal trainers. The most recent episode of Khloe & Lamar earned -65 points from our critic, as it focused on Khloe’s family visiting the struggling couple in Dallas.

Plus 10 for noticing and calling out that nonsense. Khloe just doesn’t how to help her husband get his head in the game and handle the tense situation. Two words: Hand … nevermind. Minus 10 for us on that one. Khadijah and Malika are doing a photo shoot and appear nude. Plus 25 . “I think it’s time for some honest communication.” – Malika. Jaw-dropping analysis! Mavericks Owner Mark Cuban Tells His Side Of The “Lamar Odom Gets Fired From Dallas” Story

Mavericks Owner Mark Cuban Speaks On Firing Lamar Odom So basically Mark Cuban was like “Is you is or is you ain’t a Maverick?”…and Lammy was like — “No, I’m a Kardashian, and I gotta go suck on my wife’s tweet for the cameras now.” Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban , saying he hopes Lamar Odom’s departure is “addition by subtraction,” confirmed that a heated halftime confrontation between the owner and 13-year veteran was the breaking point that prompted the team and player to part ways. During halftime of his final game with the Mavs, Odom and Cuban had the exchange in the visitors locker room Saturday night in Memphis. Cuban confirmed Tuesday evening the crux of the heated halftime confrontation was Cuban questioning Odom’s commitment. Odom, who had played only four minutes in the first half, reacted angrily to the question, shouting “stop playing games” several times. Odom did not take his seat on the bench until after the third quarter began. “Well, yeah,” Cuban said when asked whether that exchange was the final straw. “Just his response to it. Everybody goes through ups and downs. Every player does. We tried to put him in a position to succeed. You guys saw it, saw what we did. It didn’t work. “And I just asked him, does he want to go for it or not? Is he in or is he out? I think he thought we were playing poker. I just didn’t get a commitment. And that was the end.” Cuban admitted Tuesday that Odom’s lack of commitment, which manifested itself in a lack of effort on the floor and habitual tardiness to team meetings, practices and shootarounds despite living across the street from the American Airlines Center, had been an issue all season. Cuban said he tried to turn the situation into a positive “the first 17 times,” but, with the defending NBA champions fighting for a playoff berth, the organization finally lost patience with Odom. “We hope it’s addition by subtraction,” Cuban said. “Just put him in the Tariq Abdul-Wahad category and move on.” Abdul-Wahad, a name uttered with disdain in the Dallas front office, played a total of 18 games for the Mavericks after being acquired in a blockbuster trade from the Denver Nuggets in 2002. Abdul-Wahad was banished from the team, but he remained on the Mavs’ payroll for five seasons. SMH. Sounds like Lammy was acting like a lil beyotch…and seriously though??? How you gonna argue with the OWNER ALL THE TIME and not expect to get canned?? Poor thang. Via ESPN To add insult to…insult. According to TMZ Lamar Odom’s Dallas Mavericks jersey is barely worth the fabric it’s printed on — at least according to the team’s flagship merch store, which is dumping all Odom gear … for dirt cheap. Distributors for the Dallas Mavericks Ultimate Fan Shop tell TMZ, the moment Lamar’s exit was announced they busted out clearance signs … and slashed prices in an effort to unload every last remnant of #7(ironic) merchandise. As you can see by our photo-enhancing skills — the jerseys originally sold for $110 dollars a pop, but then dropped to $89.99. Now, the jerseys are going for a paltry $44.99. All other Odom merchandise was similarly marked down. But it’s not exactly helping sales — we’re told the store has only hocked TWO of the jerseys collector’s items since cutting prices. The End Of The Road: Lamar Kardashian Beefed It Up With Mark Cuban Before Getting Benched For The Rest Of The Season

Lamar Odom Had Locker Room Confrontation With Mavericks Owner Mark Cuban During Last Game Poor Khloe… Turns out Lamar is dumber than we thought. Come to find out, this fool was beefin with Mavericks owner Mark Cuban during the last game before Dallas declared him “inactive! “ Lamar Odom clashed with Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban during halftime of his final game with the team, it was reported today. Odom, who was placed on the team’s inactive list and can be traded after the postseason ends, reportedly got into a dispute with Cuban in between halves of the Mavericks’ 94-89 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies, ESPNDallas.com reported. According to sources, Cuban confronted Odom, asking the reigning Sixth Man of the Year if he was “in or out.” Odom has averaged career lows in points (6.6), rebounds (4.2), assists (1.7), shooting percentage (35.2) and minutes (20.5) after being traded from the Lakers before the season started. Odom was send to the D-League last month. After the altercation, Odom waited until the third quarter had already started to take his seat on the bench. A source told ESPNDallas.com that Odom even coming out for the second half came as a surprise. Page Six reported today that in addition to the poor playing performance, Odom’s family drama and off-court antics led the team to part ways with with 32-year-old forward. “They grew tired of his BS and kicked him to the curb,” an NBA source told Page Six. “[The team] didn’t need someone pouting like a little kid.” Odom was faced with family drama after his father fell ill in February and was involved in a car accident in which is driver struck a motorcyclist which also resulted in the death of a 15-year-old. Despite the reports of locker room and management discord, Odom and Cuban maintained that the parting was a mutual decision. “We thought it was in the best interest of the Dallas Mavericks that we went our separate ways” said team owner Mark Cuban. Odom said in a statement it was a mutual decision: “The Mavericks and I have mutually agreed that it’s in the best interest of both parties for me to step away.” Mark Cuban is not somebody you want to beef with. Lamar Odom Leaves Dallas Mavericks, Effective Immediately; Team Retains NBA Star’s Rights

Lamar Odom’s time as a member of the Dallas Mavericks has come to an end. The NBA star left the team today, ending a short and unsuccessful tenure in Big D. According to ESPN, an agreement reached Sunday allows the two sides to part company immediately, without the Mavericks having to officially release Odom. The unusual move means the struggling 13-year veteran is now off the Dallas roster for the remainder of the season, but rights are retained by the Mavericks. The Mavericks and I have mutually agreed that it’s in the best interest of both parties for me to step away from the team,” Odom said in a statement to ESPN. “I’m sorry that things didn’t work out better for both of us, but wish the Mavs’ organization, my teammates and Dallas fans nothing but continued success.” Sources said Odom’s immediate departure allows the Mavs to list him as inactive, but not cut him, leaving open the possibility that they could still trade Odom. Any team that has Odom on its roster as of June 29 must buy him out by that date for $2.4 million or pay the full $8.2 million Odom is set to earn in 2012-13. The Mavs acquired the 13-year veteran before the season started in what looked like a steal of a deal with the L.A. Lakers. Wishful thinking, it turned out. At the time of the trade, the Mavs were thought to have scored a huge coup – the reigning Sixth Man of the Year to help cushion the loss of Tyson Chandler. That vision never materialized, though, as he struggled terribly. As we saw on last night’s Khloe & Lamar , his head, heart and reality show were always in L.A.
