Khloe Kardashian to Lamar Odom: You Almost DIED!!!

Back in October, Lamar Odom overdosed on a cocktail of drugs while partying at a brothel in Nevada. The incident nearly cost Odom his life, and he was comatose by the time he arrived at a nearby hospital. Miraculously, Odom eventually emerged from his coma and began the slow process of recovering. Khloe Kardashian has offered several encouraging updates, but she concedes there's a good chance that Odom will never be quite the same again Kourtney Kardashian stopped by Ellen DeGeneres' show recently, and she FaceTimed Khloe during her interview so that the two of them could fill fans in on the latest about Lamar. Kourtney and Khloe both described Odom as “good,” but Khloe elaborated that the former NBA star's “short term memory is not so great.” Odom was released from the hospital  earlier this month, and he's apparently visited Khloe and the rest of the Kardashian clan several times since. While the news was mostly encouraging, Khloe was honest about Lamar's mental state, admitting that he still doesn't fully understand what happened to him: “And every day he’ll ask me, 'So what happened to me?'” Khloe explains. “Like today specifically, he was like, 'How many tubes did I have in me again?' And I’m like, ‘I don’t know what’s too serious to tell you,’ but I’m honest.” “I’m like, ‘Well just a lot, I didn’t count, I don’t know.’ But it’s good that he wants to know these answers. Before he didn’t want to know he wasn’t ready to know. So it’s great that he’s at the point that he’s ready to know everything that happened.” Khloe has long had a reputation as the “realest” Kardashian, and it seems she's maintaining her remarkably honest relationship with fans throughout the difficult process of helping Lamar recuperate. Khloe Kardashian: So Relieved Lamar Odom Can Walk!

Lamar Odom is on the mend, and Khloe Kardashian is very relieved, she said in one of her 4,295 interviews over the past few weeks. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Revenge Body and  Kocktails With Khloe star says her husband is doing “great” in recent days. As we reported last week, Lamar is out of the hospital after three months, and “ it’s such a relief ,” she said on Live with Kelly and Michael . “It was terrifying and scary … no one knew what was going to happen.” Khloe confirmed that Lamar has been transferred to a private facility near her Calabasas, Calif., home, following his near-fatal overdose. She says his NBA training may have helped him survive, and recover: “I really think having so many years of working out every single day – he wasn’t even walking three weeks ago, and now he’s walking.” “We were able to leave the hospital – he was able to walk out of the hospital. And it was such a great thing. You get strolled on in there.” “He didn’t really even know where he was, and he [was] able to walk out on his own. So I’m happy for him and how he’s trying.” Odom, Kardashian says, has been “really making great strides. And that’s a testament to his own will and desire to get better.” That’s not to say everything has been smooth sailing, by a long shot. She’s still dating NBA star James Harden, reportedly much to the chagrin of Odom, who is pining for her and hoped they would reconcile. Fat chance of that, from everything we’ve read and heard of late. Earlier in the week, Kardashian told Howard Stern about Lamar’s prolific, disgusting cheating habits during their four-year marriage. ”Lamar was so great at making me feel like I was the only one and I was this princess. I never speculated about his cheating,” she said. “He was so good,” she lamented. “Nothing was on his cellphones.” The baller is said to be royally furious at Khloe for talking about this publicly, but really, what does he expect at this point, considering: He clearly chose various drugs and mistresses over his marriage; He married Khloe Kardashian. MTV Apologizes For Racist Eva Longoria-America Ferrera Tweet

There was plenty of controversy to be stirred by the 2016 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday night. Eva Longoria and America Ferrera Present at the Golden Globes Like when Ricky Gervais confronted Mel Gibson about that whole “sugar tits” thing. Or when Leonardo DiCaprio possibly threw some shade at Lady Gaga . Or, heck, pretty much any time Gervais opened his mouth during his opening monlogue. At one point during the ceremony, meanwhile, MTV Australia decided to get in on the scandalous act. It all started when Eva Longoria and America Ferrera came out to present the award for Best TV Actor in a Drama. The actresses engaged in a very well-received bit about Latina stereotypes, an exchange likely inspired by the Golden Globes’ own mistake when the show’s Twitter account referred to Ferrera as “Gina Rodriguez” when she announced the nominations back in November. Woman Goes Viral with Explanation of Apartment Fire

Let us be clear: We do not think that apartment buildings catching on fire is a good source of comedic material. There's almost nothing funny about what happened to an apartment complex recently  in Tulsa, Oklahoma, considering the fire that engulfed this building left over 100 people without power or heat. Still, for those who like to find a silver lining whenever possible, we direct you to the video below. It features a woman named Michelle Dobyne. She had an apartment in said complex and she is explaining to Oklahoma News on 6 just what happened and how she's standing there safely. “Aw, man, the building is on fire,” Dobyne said on live TV, explaining how she was told about the impending disaster and adding: “I said 'No, what?' I got my three kids and we bounced out. Nuh-uh, we ain't gon be in no fire. Not today.” Damn straight, Michelle! You tell 'em! The following footage is reminding many of Kimberly “Sweet Brown” Wilkins, who went viral in 2012 after she recounted her experience with a fire, which turned into a full-blown meme with the line, “ain't nobody got time for that.” So keep your eye on Michelle Dobyne, people. She may be coming once again to a computer screen near you.

Lamar Odom Will NOT Be Charged With Drug Possession!

The good news just keeps coming for Lamar Odom. Last week, Odom was released from the hospital after months of treatment following a near-fatal overdose back in November. Now, the former NBA star has one less problem to deal with, as TMZ is reporting that Odom will not face criminal charges for possession of cocaine and other controlled substances.  That may sound like a foregone conclusion, but there was a time when it really looked as though Odom might be in hot water for his activities at the Love Ranch brothel in the days leading up to his overdose. Authorities in Nye County, Nevada stated their intention to press charges against Odom , and some expected prosecutors to try and make an example of the 36-year-old. (As one of the few places in the country where prostitution is legal, Nye County reportedly receives more than its share of big-spending law-breakers.) Earlier today, however, the Nye County DA’s office announced that it will not file charges. It’s unlikely that they would’ve been able to make much of a case against Odom, but we’re sure he’s relieved that he won’t have to go to court.
