Lamar Odom Hospitalized In Nevada Lamar Odom has been fighting demons for the better part of the last two years, but seems to have gone even further off the rails since his divorce from Khloe Kardashian was finalized. Now, things seem to have come to a tragic head for the former baller, as it was just revealed that he was discovered unresponsive in the midst of a multi-day bender inside a Nevada whore house. Via TMZ : Lamar Odom is fighting for his life after falling into unconsciousness at Dennis Hoff’s Love Ranch South in Pahrump, Nevada … TMZ Sports has learned. Sources at the Love Ranch tell us … 35-year-old Odom arrived at the Ranch Saturday and was partying with the girls for days. A source at the Ranch said Lamar was taking an herbal substitute for Viagra. On Tuesday afternoon, someone went into Odom’s room and found him unconscious. The person rolled the former NBA star over and saw fluid streaming out of his mouth. An ambulance took Lamar to Pahrump hospital, where doctors intubated him … an indication he could not breathe on his own. We’re told Lamar is being airlifted from the hospital to Las Vegas for more treatment. Yikes. Hopefully Lamar will pull through and learn something from all this. Sherri Shepherd’s Surrogate Trashes The Comedian For Abandoning Her Baby Jessica Bartholomew, the surrogate mother that carried Sherri Shepherd and Lamar Sally’s much embattled young son, Lamar Jr. is speaking out against Sherri and the financial and emotional turmoil she says she faced when the comedian decided she wanted nothing to do with her ex-husband Lamar or their unborn child. Jessica, who revealed to Daily Mail that she had gone through with surrogacy for another couple before said the drama surrounding carrying this child and the financial hit rather than gain she took from trying to do a good deed has turned her off from completing a surrogacy ever again. “I will never help another mother have a baby. Sherri put me and my family through so much emotionally and almost ruined me financially so I will never trust anyone to go through that again. I wanted to help her because she couldn’t have a child of her own and it was supposed to be a beautiful thing. But it turned out to be a nightmare.” Jessica says she entered the agreement thinking that the couple wanted a child, but was unable. But with Sherri recently revealing that she only initially agreed to creating the baby to save her failing marriage, she says she never would have signed up. “If I had known this was Sherri’s attempt to save her marriage, there is no way I would have agreed to this surrogacy. Since when has a baby saved a marriage? Never. We talked for quite a while and by the time we finished we had agreed to go into this contract. Sherri said she really wanted to have a child with Lamar because it would make their family complete. They already had Jeffrey [who is 10] her son from a previous marriage and Lamar loved him unconditionally, but Lamar did not have any children and she wanted him to have that experience. They were hoping for another boy. We used Lamar’s sperm and an anonymous egg donor. I received $25,000 to be the surrogate. But ironically, because of a medically induced medical condition I was out of work from May until October so I really didn’t make any money on this arrangement, I actually went into a hole.” But the hole only dug deeper once the baby arrived. With Sherri refusing to have anything to do with Lamar Jr. once he was born, the state sought money from the only mother they had on record for the child — Jessica. “Lamar needed to get healthcare for the baby so he went through government assistance and they automatically go after the other parent to collect support and since I was the birth mother and Sherri was denying any responsibility they came after me. That was so hard on me because I have two other children, I’m a waitress and going to school to finish my nursing degree. I could not afford to take care of Sherri’s baby too, but if I didn’t they were going to garnish my wages.” Jessica says she can’t believe that Sherri allowed all of this to happen to her when she stepped in to help Sherri with what she thought was a need in her life. She also says that Sherri is so bitter against Lamar that she is seeking to stop him from having any more children with the donor eggs they selected. “And there is another embryo if Lamar ever wants to give LJ a little brother but even though Sherri would not be responsible for that child she is fighting tooth and nail to get that embryo destroyed.” What a mess. It isn’t really fair that she had to come up off all that cash and she definitely has a right to be pissed about it…but honestly at this point nothing else that goes on with that family is any of her business anymore, right??
