He’s ditched the downtown apartment and has moved back to the Valley to be closer to Khloe, however, “he hasn’t moved back in with Khloe and has no plans to…yet.” The only thing that will save Lamar is if he gets signed to a major basketball team. According to TMZ Deion Sanders has been 86′ed from the school he co-founded in Texas … after admitting he got into a physical altercation with a head official, TMZ has learned. A rep for the Prime Prep Academy says the school is cutting ties with Deion — who was an “ambassador and employee of the school” — after deciding they can no longer have a professional relationship with him following allegations he choke slammed PPA honcho Kevin Jefferson. Deion says he didn’t assault the guy … but acknowledges they “locked up” after Deion learned some of the student athletes at the school were not doing well in the classroom. In a statement, the school would not explain the specific reason they want to cut ties with Sanders, but acknowledge the positive things he did for the place saying, “ “Deion’s positive contribution is appreciated and regarded as a laudable example. The school family wishes Mr. Sanders much success in his future endeavors.” Deion previously griped that he was angry about the quality of the education at PPA — but school officials insist they have “complete confidence” in their programs. The decision left Destiny, 13, and Lamar Jr., 10, “disappointed and saddened,” a source close to the children told RadarOnline.com. “The kids had expected to see their father this weekend,” the insider revealed. “They were shattered that the visit was canceled. It was to be the first time Destiny and Lamar Jr. had spent anytime with their father since the cheating and drug allegations surfaced. “In the past, when things were normal, Lamar would call and video chat with the kids on a very regular basis. Khloe even actually organized numerous visits for the kids to come to Los Angeles.” Odom, 33, has not seen the children in months, the insider added. “What made Lamar’s decision to cancel his trip all the more hard was that Destiny and Lamar Jr. know exactly what is going on with their dad because they have been teased at school,” the source added. As for why Odom chose to cancel his trip, one source suggested: “Lamar started partying several hours before his flight was scheduled to take off. Yes, the 17-year old daughter of Eminem – who was name-dropped multiple times in many of the rapper’s early hits – received this honor from her classmates while her dad watched from afar, holed up inside a school building in order to avoid making a scene. An 11-year-old Florida girl was sent home from school with a letter informing her parents that she’s overweight, a controversial practice by any measure. But wait until you hear what she actually weighs … School Letter Says 11-Year-Old is Fat The girl is 5’5″ and tips the scales at 124 pounds. While that sounds like the definition of normal, the county health department came to Lily Grasso’s middle school in Naples, Fla., to screen the kids. Since Lily’s BMI registered at 22, she was put into the “overweight” category and a (pejoratively nicknamed) ” fat letter ” was sent out, enraging her mom. While the letter’s intent is clearly coming from the right, anti-obesity place, one wonders if this is only compounding kids’ self-esteem and body issues. In this case, with a girl like Lily who isn’t anyone’s definition of overweight, will she develop a complex over being told she’s fat in such an official way? As her mom, Kristen, asked, should a test like this be done by a doctor, rather than a school? Should a school go further than promoting diet and exercise?
