Keeping Up With the Kardashians Promo: The Overdose

This Sunday's all-new episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians will not feature any $1 million wagers over expensive marble . There won't be much talk about bikini photos or Instagram selfies or anything innocuous of that nature. Instead, those who watch Keeping Up With the Kardashians online or on television next week ought to be prepared to something far more serious than usual. As previewed below, the next installment of this E! reality series will focus on Lamar Odom's overdose. The incident took place on October 13, as Odom was found passed out in a (legal) brother in Nevada. Since then, Khloe has remained by the side of her estranged husband, rarely leaving his hospital bed and even moving Lamar into a rehab facility near her home in Calabasas. In the emotional moments after Khloe learns of of her Odom's serious health crisis, the 31-year-old star appears completely stunned in the following footage, as the camera zooms in on her pale, expressionless face. “Khloe has been spending every second with Lamar,” Kourtney Kardashian, says in the trailer, while mom Kris Jenner, can be heard off camera, telling her daughter at one point: “I think hearing our voices and having family around might make a difference.” Odom only had a 50% chance of survival in the first few days after his overdose, but he has since overcome the odds and will likely make a full recovery. But it will take a lot of time. Watch the preview now:

Anne Hathaway: Give Jennifer Lawrence a Break, People!

Former “It Girl” Anne Hathaway has taken to Facebook to defend newly-fallen “It Girl” Jennifer Lawrence. Earlier this week, the Joy actress was criticized for scolding a journalist over staring at his phone during an interview with her after she won the award for Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical. The internet got collectively pissed, deeming J. Law rude and out of line because the reporter was clearly foreign and may have been consulting his phone to translate the question. Today, Anne Hathaway swooped in to offer her thoughts on the controversy, writing: “Dear the Internet, It’s become pretty clear that the Jennifer Lawrence ‘scolding’ was taken out of context and that she was dryly joking with a journalist who was indeed using his phone to take photos of her.”  But the Les Miserables actress may have been calling attention to a larger issue. “Let’s not continue the sad but common practice of building people – especially women- up just to viciously tear them down when we perceive them to have misstepped. Jennifer is a beautiful, talented, wildly successful, popular, FOUR TIME OSCAR NOMINATED young woman. Please let us not punish her for these things. Sincerely, A J-Law fan ‪#‎supportstrongwomen‬ ‪#‎imwithher‬ ‪#‎whycantwegiveloveonemorechance‬” The day after the Globes, Mic ran an article entitled “We Have Reached Peak Jennifer Lawrence,” which basically declared Jen’s “It Girl” status as so over. Meaning, after a few years as America’s favorite cool girl for acting quirky, down-to-earth and relatable, J. Law was now a universally-hated bitch due to this one faux pas – even though she may not be to blame. “None of this is Lawrence’s fault,” opined the author, Kevin O’Keeffe. “This is how Hollywood works. Actresses are hot one second and annoying the next. Anne Hathaway, Gwyneth Paltrow and Kate Winslet can empathize.” We can only imagine Anne jumped out of her easy chair and responded with a resounding, “YES!!! Finally, somebody understands me!” Now maybe Annie and Jenny could grab Gwynnie and have a sleepover in which they eat Kit Kats Kourtney Kardashian-style and reminisce about the good ol’ days when they got one million faves on Twitter for posting “Good morning.” And maybe, just maybe, we can try and give these ladies a break.

Lamar Odom ENRAGED at Khloe for Telling Everyone About His Cheating

Earlier this week, Khloe Kardashian gave a tell-all interview with Howard Stern, in which she revealed some VERY personal details about her marriage to Lamar Odom. Specifically, the Kocktails with Khloe star disclosed how Lamar cheated on her for the majority of their marriage and hid texts to his mistresses on his assistant’s phone. “It was disgusting,” she said. Well, Lamar heard the whole thing, and now he’s pissed . ​ Oh, ya think? “Lamar heard the entire interview Khloe did with Howard and was very unhappy about it,” a source told Radar Online. “Didn’t she just go out on another media tour for her book and take credit for saving Lamar’s life?” “Lamar called Khloe and asked her to stop talking about him,” the source said. “He is trying to get on with his life and all Khloe wants to do is dredge up the past.” But Lamarrr , don’t you know Khloe needs to get publicity for her new talk show, which apparently nobody cares about ? According to the source, Khloe told Lamar that she couldn’t help it because people keep asking her about him. And have you EVER heard a Kardashian woman reply with a simple “no comment”?  “Lamar is ready to get out of Los Angeles and go back to Las Vegas, away from Khloe,” the source added.  “Khloe just wants to look like a saint to the rest of the world, but behind close doors she has given Lamar hell, and he’s not going to let her use him for PR any more.” Oh geez, Lamar. Back to Vegas? To be sure, Los Angeles isn’t the holy land but if you’re really trying to get clean from the booze, drugs and hookers, do you think Vegas is really a smart choice? We feel you, though. Your ex airing your dirty laundry to anyone who’ll listen is kind of a low blow. On the other hand, in the words of Adele – another lady who reveals the ugly side of her relationships – “Yeah, but my motto is, then you shouldn’t fuck me over.”

Lady Gaga & Taylor Kinney: See Their Post-Coital Selfie, Covered in Paint

Lady Gaga and fiance Taylor Kinney have painted a colorful picture of their sex life – literally.   The latest cover of V Magazine features the couple in a post-coital selfie they took after doing the horizontal mambo covered in paint atop a giant canvas. Because why be dull? According to Gaga, who guest edited the issue, it was originally Kinney’s idea.  “Since we first met, Taylor’s been drawing and painting all over me,” she wrote in her editor’s letter. “Years ago, when we were secretly living in San Diego and crashing on the floor of a beach shack, we never wore shoes. He told me he wanted to make love to me on a canvas.” Okay, nothing surprises us about Gaga. I mean, the woman wore a meat dress and arrived at the Grammys in a giant egg for crying out loud. But Taylor? We had no idea he was so… artistic. Kinney’s vision was finally realized after Gaga asked him to collaborate on a project with her to raise money and awareness for mental illness. “We made love on the canvas on a Sunday in Chicago,” she said, describing their session. “We made love amidst chaos. We talked about shootings. We made love amidst terrorism. And we talked about how people’s hearts are also suffering all over the world as they watch and witness a swell of violence. We made love amidst violence.” Okeeeeeeey. I can totally picture Gaga reciting these lines in a French accent while wearing a slinky black dress and smoking a hand-rolled joint out of a cigarette holder. Nevertheless, the singer hopes their sex painting will encourage everyone, even in times of tumult, “to love each other wildly, generously, totally, colorfully, without fear and with compassionate hearts.” “We made a galaxy of endless colors with only brief, black holes of emptiness that are then filled by each other,” she continued. It’s unclear where the couple’s masterpiece of colors and black holes will be displayed, but sales from the $50 V issue will go toward Gaga’s Born This Way foundation.

A couple weeks after getting our first look at Lamar Odom in the hospital , we have even more exciting news for fans of the former basketball star: He’s now out of the hospital! View Slideshow: Lamar Odom: A Timeline of Tragedy Us Weekly sources confirm that Khloe Kardashian secretly moved her estranged husband to a private facility on Wednesday, keeping the decision as quiet as possible in order to avoid attention. Odom had initially been in a Las Vegas hospital and then a Los Angeles hospital ever since he fell unconscious in a Nevada brothel on October 13. The private facility, which will serve as a rehab center for the star, is located near Kardashian’s home in Beverly Hills. Odom spent Christmas with his kids – Lamar Odom Jr., 13, and Destiny, 17 – last month, celebrating the occasion from a hospital bed. “Lamar is doing way better. He was so happy the kids were there with him for Christmas and they were so happy to be with him,” an insider told Us Weekly at the time. “The kids were happy … to bring him gifts, all of his favorite things that they wrapped up. They had so much fun. It was very emotional and very happy.” View Slideshow: Lamar Odom: In Thoughts, Prayers of Stars Everywhere Odom has been separated from Kardashian for years. But the official divorce paperwork was never signed and then it was even legally revoked during Odom’s hospital stay in order for Khloe to make any necessary medical decisions as Lamar’s wife. While many took this maneuver as a sign that the stars were rekindling their romance, Khloe is still dating Houston Rockets shooting guard James Harden. Lamar’s life hung in the balance shortly after he was admitted to the hospital in Las Vegas three months ago. But he’s now moving around without a walker and doctors have hope that he may make a full recovery. He still has a long way to go, however. We’re rooting for you, Lamar.

Back To Court: Sherri Shepherd Is Still Fighting Maternity Ruling In $4600 A Month Child Support Case

Sherri Shepherd Appeals Maternity Ruling For Surrogate Baby Even though she’s currently coughing up $4,600 a month for her surrogate child with ex-husband Lamar Sally, Sherri Shepherd still insists that she shares no kinship with the baby . The comedienne is currently appealing the decision made by Pennsylvania Superior Court, deeming her the legal mother of the son she and Lamar had by surrogate mother and donated egg — and ordering her to pay up nearly $5k for the child’s well being. Via E!online : Sherri Shepherd and Lamar Sally’s surrogacy legal battle continues. A judge ruled in April that she is the legal mother of her and Lamar’s baby, Lamar Sally Jr., who was born via surrogate and was already on the way when she and Lamar split up. But now the former The View host is asking the Pennsylvania Supreme court to reverse the decision made by the Superior Court. Shepherd is arguing that the lower court didn’t have a right to declare her the mother, as Pennsylvania law requires parentage to be established by “genetics/biology or by adoption,” according to legal documents obtained by E! News. If you’ll recall, the egg used to create little Lamar Jr. didn’t come from Sherri, and a surrogate carried the baby to term. By that logic, Sherri feels that she was ruled as the child’d mother unfairly. But she says in the meantime, she’s focusing on the child she does claim… Shepherd previously opened up to People about her surrogacy legal battle and the lower court’s decision. “I am appealing the ruling that happened and he gets his settlement every month,” she said of her ex-husband. “He’s happy. There nothing I can do. It’s out of my hands. You move on and I have a son. I have to take care of him so everything is good.” Well the courts have already spoken their piece once…do you think Sherri should keep cutting checks, or is she right to try to have the ruling overturned?
