Warner Bros. TV has officially pulled the plug on The New Adventures of Old Christine . After CBS surprisingly canceled Christine last month, ABC toyed with the idea of reviving the Julia Louis-Dreyfus series but could not afford the license fee. The network opted out of reviving the other hit that CBS canceled unexpectedly, Ghost Whisperer , last week. [ Deadline ]

I admit I didn’t think much of the news last month that French film icon Isabelle Huppert would make a guest appearance on Law & Order: SVU . Leslie Caron and Jeanne Moreau had famously (and with dignity) preceded her on the series, and really, when you’ve won a César Award, a BAFTA Award and two Cannes Film Festival prizes for Best Actress, what else is left career-wise but to join NBC’ s procedural institution for a night? Right? Right. And then I watched the episode.

When Ke$ha performed “Your Love is My Drug” on Saturday Night Live last month, it was awful. Atrocious. Just really, really bad. But the song has been edited and properly mixed and sounds like another fun dance song from this artist in her official music video for it. Shot last month in the California desert, it features live action and animation, as Ke$ha glides through the sand, rides an elephant and dances with a python. All in a day’s work.
