Lady Gaga And Producer Drop Lawsuits Against Each Other

Rob Fusari initially sought $30.5 million arguing the ‘Fame’ singer owed success, in part, to him. By Kelley L. Carter Lady Gaga Photo: George Napolitano/ WireImage The romance is over, and so is the legal action. Lady Gaga and a former boyfriend/music producer Rob Fusari have both dismissed lawsuits filed against each other . The Associated Press reports that court papers filed this week show that Gaga and Fusari have both agreed to drop the dueling suits. Fusari originally filed in March in New York and said he wanted $30.5 million, but the AP reported that it was still unclear on Friday (September 10) whether the two made any financial deal in dismissing both suits. Fusari’s beef with Gaga was that he had helped to launch the pop star’s career, but hadn’t been properly compensated for his effort in the aftermath of their failed relationship. Fusari — who has also worked on Will Smith’s “Wild Wild West” movie theme and Destiny’s Child’s “Bootylicious” — teamed up with the singer back in March 2006. He said it was he who persuaded her to trade in her rock style for dance beats. Fusari and Gaga co-wrote songs such as “Paparazzi” and “Beautiful, Dirty, Rich,” which would appear on her debut album, The Fame, and in the initial lawsuit, he claimed that he transformed the singer born Stefani Germanotta into Lady Gaga, a name adapted from Queen’s “Radio Ga Ga.” Per the lawsuit, Lady Gaga and Fusari’s relationship turned romantic and then became a business partnership in May 2006, when they created a joint venture called Team Love Child, LLC, to promote her career. Fusari’s share was 20 percent, according the agreement. Gaga may have been compelled to drop the suit to focus on her current success: She’s up for an astounding 13 Moonmen at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards , airing live on Sunday at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Jessica Alba Needs to Go Back to Pregnancy of the Day

Jessica Alba needs to go back to babymaking, at least that will give her something she can pretend to be proud of, you know minor purpose in her life, cuz based on this recent publicity tour for Machete, she’s totally fuckin’ done. Irrelevant and hated by all men for ruining herself with that whole hole in condom trick that brought her a kid that will never let her man Cash Warren leave her…. Remember, with irrelevance comes sex tapes….not that you want to see the mangled mom pussy, but I know I do….for reasons deeper than seeing a mangled mom pussy….and those reasons are that she had a no-nudity clause and I need to be reminded that when push comes to shove, all women are whores….even mothers trying to get noticed again….

Sophie Turner’s Ridiculous Ass in a See Thru Dress of the Day

My relationship with Sophie Turner has been going on since the beginning of her career in America, or 3-5 months for those of you who still haven’t heard about her. She threatened to sue me for calling her a pornstar cuz she has done everything in her power to look like a pornstar, from fake tits, to fake ass, to ideally a fake pussy, so you don’t have to get your dick dirty when you pay her the 400 dollars to fuck her on camera….unfortunately she didn’t use a Lawyer for the lawsuit, but instead her PR person, who wasn’t even smart enough to sign off as a fake lawyer, making the whole cry for fame kinda funny…. It’s like she’s an aspiring Shauna Sand…. The most fun fact about Shauna Sand impersonator Sophie Turner is that a model she worked with sent me this email last month that I never bothered with, but it is relevant today: Hey, I see that u really hate sophie turner! So let me tell u more about this pornstar-bitch-whore or whatever u wanna call her!!!! She is married and has a child! She just claims to be a fucking single! And she is not 26 years old! HAHA that’s so funny! I TELL U she is 29 years old! She was born 1981! Or yeah and by the way she puts paddings in her butt to make it look bigger….! That bitch is just ridiculous! Oh shit…Scandal…here she is in a see through dress…showing off her ass….and plastic surgery hacked up whore face…Goodtimes…

New Evidence Of Controlled Demolition On 9/11

(There are several videos click the link above to see them all) The International Center for 9/11 Studies has secured the release of hundreds of hours of video footage and tens of thousands of photographs used by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) for its investigation of the collapse of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7. This material is being released to the Center under the Freedom of Information Act, in response to a lawsuit the Center filed against NIST. The Center filed a FOIA Request with NIST on January 26, 2009, seeking production of “all of the photographs and videos collected, reviewed, cited or in any other way used by NIST during its investigation of the World Trade Center building collapses.” Following several unsuccessful attempts to get NIST to even acknowledge receipt of the Request, the Center was forced to file a lawsuit on May 28, 2009. Shortly after the lawsuit was filed, the Request was assigned a reference number, and NIST began periodically releasing batches of responsive records. To date, the Center has received over 300 DVDs and several external hard disk drives that contain responsive records – more than 3 terabytes of data so far – and NIST has indicated that additional records will be released in the future. We are currently looking at the best ways to distribute these materials to interested researchers and journalists around the world. It has taken NIST more than 8 months so far to produce a partial archive of photographs and videos in their possession, but we hope to be more efficient in our efforts. Because of the huge volume of data, we are working on a wiki-style website to facilitate review and discussion of any interesting items that are discovered by researchers. Justin Keogh, our Chief Technical Officer, is preparing the website and materials for release. The first batch of materials we are releasing is a group of video clips sent to us on an external hard disk drive labeled “NIST WTC Investigation Cumulus Video Clips.” We believe NIST entered these clips into a searchable database called the Cumulus database, and used them as the basis for the investigation and reports. Researchers may be interested to see which video clips NIST determined were important to its investigation, and compare these clips to the raw footage we release at a later date. Justin will be posting more details about the data release in the next week or two. Any questions about the FOIA Request, lawsuit, or data release should be submitted via the Contact Us page at the Center’s website: http://www.ic911studies.org/Contact_Us.html Although the Center has extremely limited resources with which it can review this mountain of data, several interesting items have already been discovered. Below are five items the Center has uncovered so far. The items below have not been altered from the original provided by NIST, except in three cases where a short section of footage was extracted from a much longer video. Otherwise, no alterations have been made to the video or audio. For the best viewing experience, you should watch all of the videos below in the highest resolution available. We will supplement the list below in the coming days and weeks. 1. Video Footage of Explosion Before Collapse In the video below, at about the 0:59 mark, a high-pressure explosion occurs in one of the Twin Towers, below the impact zone, while the building is still standing. In the final report on the collapse of the Twin Towers issued by NIST, it appears to attempt an explanation for this explosion by suggesting it is a smoke puff resulting from a pressure pulse inside the building, perhaps from a collapsing wall or ceiling, or sudden opening of a door. (See NCSTAR1-5A, p. 52) However, as can be seen from the screen capture below, it isn’t merely smoke and dust being ejected. There appears to be a massive object being ejected along with the explosion. 2. Audio Evidence of Explosions During Collapse Several videos released to the Center have clear audio tracks that contain distinct sounds of explosions occurring at the World Trade Center. These audio tracks provide support to the many eyewitness statements referring to explosions occurring when the buildings collapsed. Explosions can be heard at the initiation of the South Tower collapse in the following two videos. The explosions are clear enough at normal volumes, but turning your speaker volume up a bit can help provide a full appreciation of the sound. added by: im1mjrpain

ASU denies claims made by student | The Augusta Chronicle

Augusta State University officials said it's not a graduate student's religious beliefs, but her refusal to work toward being able to counsel homosexual clients that is threatening her standing in the school's counseling program, according to court documents filed Monday. The filing states that Jennifer Keeton must demonstrate her ability to counsel all clients, including the homosexual and transgender population, in order to graduate. The response is the school's first legal answer since Keeton filed a lawsuit July 21 alleging that she was facing expulsion from the counseling program based on her religious beliefs and her refusal to complete “a thought-reform remediation plan.” In an e-mail cited in the suit, ASU assistant professor Dr. Paulette Schenck told Keeton “the faculty did not expect (her) to change (her) personal beliefs and values.” “(T)he unethical part (was) applying your own personal beliefs and values on other people and not truly accepting that others can have different beliefs and values that are equally valid as your own.” Keeton is a graduate student in ASU's K-12 school counseling program, which requires students to adhere to a neutral code of ethics. The university's response explains that ASU professors asked Keeton to complete a remediation plan after she wrote in a term paper regarding the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender, or GLBT, community that “it would be hard (for her) to work with this population.” Keeton also told fellow student Justin C. Earnest that she would tell gay clients “their behavior is morally wrong and then help the client change that behavior,” according to an affidavit by Earnest included in the school's filing. The remediation plan required Keeton to attend counseling workshops, read counseling journals regarding the GLBT community, increase her exposure to the gay population and write reflections on what she was learning. The university's legal filings did not directly address Keeton's contention that she was told to attend a gay pride parade as part of the remediation plan. Members of ASU's faculty also were concerned with Keeton's support of conversion therapy for homosexuals, which the American Counseling Association's ethics committee has concluded “may harm clients.” In her lawsuit, Keeton said the remediation plan “subjects her to aggressive ideological instruction” and asks that she “change her beliefs.” Keeton said she would like to continue her education in the counseling program without fear that the school “will punish her for her religious views” and her “unwillingness to change or abandon those views.” But university officials said if they exempted Keeton from counseling homosexual clients, they would also have to exempt those opposed to war from counseling soldiers. “The same curriculum would require an atheist student counselor to competently counsel a deeply religious client,” the filing said. “A staunch feminist student counselor is required to competently counsel clients from male dominated cultures … the common thread being that all counselors are required to keep separate their own belief system from the counseling relationship.” The suit also points to a U.S. District Court judge's recent opinion in a similar case, Ward v. Wilbanks. In the July 2010 ruling, a judge upheld Eastern Michigan University's decision to dismiss a student who refused to counsel a homosexual student or participate in a remediation plan. University officials said that if the court moves forward with Keeton's case it could affect the school's accreditation and other students' degrees. What's Next? Jennifer Keeton has asked the federal court to force the college to drop its requirement that she complete the remediation plan. The U.S. District Court in Augusta scheduled a hearing on her request for a preliminary injunction at 9 a.m. Wednesday. added by: toyotabedzrock

Vampire Weekend ‘Look Forward’ To Resolving Contra Lawsuit, Label Says

Frontman Ezra Koenig calls album-cover suit ‘a little frustrating.’ By James Montgomery Kirsten Kennis featured on the Vampire Weekend’s album “Contra” Photo: XL Recordings Last week, Ann Kirsten Kennis — the cover star of Vampire Weekend’s Contra album — filed suit against the band in Los Angeles Superior Court, alleging that her signature was forged on photographer Tod Brody’s photographic release. At the time, VW’s label, XL Recordings, told MTV News they had “no comment” on Kennis’ lawsuit, and the only comment from the band itself was a winking emoticon tweeted by frontman Ezra Koenig. Since then, things have changed. First, Entertainment Weekly spoke to Kennis’ attorney and Brody, who, somewhat understandably, had differing opinions about the suit. Alan Neigher, who is representing Kennis, said his client was unaware that a Polaroid of her was being used by the band until her daughter told her, adding that the picture was “taken by her family” in 1983 and Kennis “has no idea how that photograph got into the photographer’s hands.” Brody — the photographer — laughed when he heard Neigher’s claims, maintaining that not only did he take the photo, but that it “was in my possession the entire time, for 26 years, until it was delivered to Vampire Weekend.” And late Friday, reps for XL sent a statement about the lawsuit to MTV News, saying they did their due diligence when securing the rights to the photo and that they “look forward” to proving that claim in court. “As is standard practice, Vampire Weekend and XL Recordings licensed the rights to use the photo on the cover of Contra pursuant to a license agreement that contains representations and warranties authorizing this use of the photo,” the statement read. “Now that a lawsuit has been filed, we look forward to having the matter resolved in Court. We will be filing our response after we have had an opportunity to review the allegations. Consistent with our practice, we will not be commenting further about the pending litigation at this time.” And finally, during a talk with British mag NME at this past weekend’s Latitude festival, Koenig broke his silence, saying he and his bandmates found the entire experience — and the inability to speak openly about it — “a little frustrating” “I think I can speak for all of us and say this is the first time any of us have ever been sued, so we’re still learning how it works,” he said “There’s so many things we could say about it, but given we have no experience of it, we’re just keeping conversations to a journal for now, which is a little frustrating. “There’s nothing we can say about it,” he continued. “We’re not trying to be mysterious. I imagine in the next few months, there’ll be plenty to talk about. Given it’s our first time, we just want to do it properly.” What do you think about the suit against Vampire Weekend?
