Exclusive! Laura Govan Wept: Judge Lowers Gilbert Arenas’ Monthly Child Support From $20K To $7K

Gilbert Arenas & Laura Govan’s Child Support Fight Laid Bare A judge who agreed to lower Gilbert Arenas’ monthly child support to baby mama Laura Govan found that neither one had fully disclosed exactly how much money they made. LA Family Court Judge Mark A. Juhas, who presided over Arenas’ motion to lower his child support to Govan, found that Govan’s income and expense statements to the court were “not reliable,” and in actuality, she’d made $40,000 from the reality show “The Next Fifteen,” $500 a month from the website “Shop In Real Life,” $9,000 for promoting “Flat Tummy Tea,” and $500 for “showing her face” on social media, according to court docs obtained by BOSSIP. The judge agreed with Arenas to lower his monthly child support from a reported $20,000 a month to $7,198 after he said his $719,000 a month income went down to zero when he lost his NBA contract. The judge also decided not to compute Arenas’ income from real estate sales and rentals. However, the judge also ruled not to make the new child support amount retroactive to when Arenas filed for the modification in Oct. 2016, deciding that Arenas’ financial docs for the court “were not full and complete, nor fully accurate.” “It is the respondent’s burden to demonstrate a change in circumstances and completely show what his actual income is,” the judge’s ruling read.“Respondent cannot fail to disclose his income and receive full retroactivity.” Govan and Arenas’ child support battle was laid bare in court docs that were submitted as part of Arenas’ defamation suit against the mother of his four kids. Govan appeared in court Sept. 13 for a hearing on exactly how much money she has in order to pay a $110,000 judgment to Arenas after he won a case that accused her of leaking false info to a blog alleging that Arenas infected her with STDs. Govan also has to pay to send the kids to private school, a cost that Arenas had previously paid, according to court docs. The judge said it was “inappropriate” for Arenas to keep paying the kids tuition on his own, and Govan had a responsibility to support their kids outside of child support, like getting a job. We reached out to attorneys for both Arenas and Govan for comment.

Divided/Game Show Network 2 Outta 3 White Folks Won’t Challenge Black Man’s Opinion On Game Show Race-Related Question This clip is a prime example of how some folks just don’t know better while most are smart enough to just STFU when a black man knows what he’s talking about. On an upcoming episode of “Divided” they asked four contestants “What do black Americans consider the two most important problems facing this country?” One of the contestants was certain he knew the answer better than the others because he’s a BLACK AMERICAN… But another contestant wasn’t so sure. Black Americans question turns awkward really fast — on DIVIDED, Thursday, August 31 from Game Show Network on Vimeo . SMH @ ol’ girl trying to argue there are plenty of jobs… But how comedy was it when the host asked the other two contestants if they disagreed with bruh? DIVIDED is part game show, part social experiment, as four strangers must work together, tackling questions related to hot-button issues and they must come to a consensus on their answers, to accumulate a cash jackpot. Later, the contestants must all agree on how to divide up the prize money, and the amounts are drastically unequal! Stoudemire and Quynn Lovett were able to reach an agreement on how the NBA great would financially support the tot, named Zoe Renee, according to both court papers and a source close to the situation. The center, who played in the NBA for 14 years, along with stay-at-home mom Lovett, 36, agreed to the deal following a round of mediation Aug. 21. The terms of the settlement were confidential, and we’re told that neither side would be talking about it. However, the agreed to deal does provide well for the baby girl, and Lovett herself is said to also be satisfied with it, the source said. Stoudemire had already been paying more than $4,000 a month to support baby Zoe, though it was unclear Tuesday what he’d be paying going forward. Lovett – who has another child with former NBA player Chris Duhon – also asked Stoudemire for a one time payment of nearly $12,000, possibly for her medical bills from delivering baby Zoe. Stoudemire hasn’t commented publicly about the alleged secret seed, but called Lovett’s lawsuit “frivolous” in court docs. Welch hasn’t commented either, but hasn’t appeared to let the alleged infidelity affect her relationship with her husband. Now that the child support deal is in place, the pair will now square off in a Massachusetts court over custody of the little girl. Lovett has already asked for full custody, according to court records.

Exclusive: Kirk Frost’s Alleged Baby Mama”s Paternity Case Grinds To A Halt

Jasmine Washington Said Kirk Frost Seduced And Abandoned Her And Baby The woman who said she gave birth to married reality star Kirk Frost’s baby son has seen her paternity case against him come to a standstill. Jasmine Washington sued Frost in January to prove he was the father of Kannon Mekhi Washington and to get him to support his son. Washington said she and Frost enjoyed a secret relationship where he encouraged her not to work, and she became his kept woman. He gave her a living allowance and even gave her a car to drive as an incentive to stay with him, according to court docs obtained by BOSSIP. Washington said Frost fathered her baby son but abandoned both of them when she ended their relationship. Now, Jasmine said it’s time he steps up and pay child support as well as her legal fees. But BOSSIP has learned that the case has stalled because Washington apparently hasn’t been able to find Frost and serve him with her complaint. The legal situation has become so dire for Washington that she asked a judge to hold a hearing about Frost’s lack of service next month. Washington’s lawyer did not respond to BOSSIP’s request for comment. Frost also didn’t respond to our request for comment. Washington, who made her debut on “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” earlier this week, told co-stars, Yung Joc and Karlie Redd, that Frost was her son’s father, but Frost denied even knowing her to his long-suffering wife, Rasheeda.

Have A Look At Reggie Bush’s “Alleged” Youngest Son

Monique Exposito Gave Birth February 5 The woman who allegedly gave birth to Reggie Bush’s son last month debuted her son on her private social media account. Monique Exposito showed off her adorable son, Preston Alexander Exposito in a series of sweet snaps Wednesday. “Meet Preston my baby 1 (sic) day old here,” Exposito wrote. She gushed over her older daughter and baby son in another post. “My whole life in one picture, brother and sister,” Exposito captioned the sweet pic. Preston is allegedly the result of two trysts between the married pro football player and the Miami cocktail waitress, and a source with knowledge of the situation told BOSSIP that the pair are now battling it out over child support out of court. The cherubic tot, swaddled in a planet and wearing a little hat, looked serene when his mother took the snap. The baby does bear a resemblance to Bush’s daughter Briseis. Bush hasn’t commented on the paternity saga, and his lawyer told TMZ that he and his wife Lilit were “happily married.” Lilit meanwhile appears to be imitating Exposito on social media, dying her hair the same blonde color as the woman and exclaiming “Hola!” in a recent video posted to Bush’s Instagram. Do you think the baby looks like Bush?

Exclusive: Judge OK’s The Game’s Bid For New Trial In $7.1 Mill Sex Abuse Case

Woman Won A $7.1 Million Judgment Against Rapper After She Sued Him For Sexual Battery A judge has given the green light to The Game’s bid for a new trial and lower judgment amount in his sexual battery case, BOSSIP has learned. Illinois Federal Court Judge Gary Feinerman filed this week that the rapper, who was born Jayceon Taylor, can seek a new trial and file motions to reduce the $7.1 million in damages a jury awarded his accuser, Priscilla Rainey. The judge threw out his December decision to deny The Game a new trial and request for lower damage amount. In November, a jury awarded Rainey, who appeared as a contestant on The Game’s reality dating show “She’s Got Game,” $6 million in punitive damages and $1.1 million in compensatory damages against The Game after she accused him of exposing her privates and molesting her in front of a crowd on stage. In court papers, lawyers for The Game blasted the judgment amount as “monstrously excessive,” and said the trial wasn’t fair to the “This Is How We Do” rapper because he wasn’t able to appear in person as he was recovering from emergency surgery. But Rainey said The Game’s legal arguments didn’t hold any water, and the $7.1 million that a jury awarded her wasn’t excessive given the facts of the case. She said the jury’s award was in line with judgment amounts in similar cases. However, the judge sided with The Game, and said the rapper can come back to court and argue why he should get a new trial and pay way less damages to Rainey. Both sides are due in court at the end of the month.
