It’s been almost seven years since LeAnn Rimes left Dean Sheremet for Eddie Cibrian, and they’re both remarried now, so you would think the emotional scars would be more or less healed. At the very least, you’d think that Dean would be the one who’s still pissed, but apparently it’s LeAnn who just can’t move on from the whole messy affair. According to a letter obtained by In Touch , LeAnn was not happy when she learned that Dean makes a couple passing mentions about their life together in his new cookbook. The missive from her attorneys threatens Dean with legal consequences if he makes LeAnn look bad in any way. Dean says they have nothing to worry about, and correctly points out that he’s allowed to write about the events of his own life. “The lawyers wanted to know what details I included about LeAnn,” Sheremet tells the tabloid. “I just don’t get it. She already killed my happiness the first time around. [It’s like], ‘Move on already, LeAnn. I’ve moved on!’ “I worked very hard on this book and I’m proud of it. I’m on people’s radar because of my past with her. I can’t erase my past; I referred to it and was very respectful. I’m not the one who cheated.” Sheremet married Sarah Silver in 2011, and he’s mostly kept mum on the topic of his marriage to LeAnn. Our guess is Mrs. Rimes-Cibrian got tired of feuding with Brandi Glanville and decided to try a new foe on for size.
The story of Safyre Terry is both heartbreaking and hopeful at the same time. Terry is only eight years old. She has severe burn scars on over 75% of her body. She lives without a right hand and left foot. In 2013, she lost her father, her mother and two brothers when her family’s apartment burned down as a result of arson. She now lives with Liz Dodler, her aunt and legal guardian, in Rotterdam, New York. That’s the heartbreaking part. But here’s the hopeful part to the story: Earlier this month, Dodler gifted Terry with a Christmas card holder. Shortly thereafter, a family friend shared a photo of Terry (above) standing alongside the holder and wrote the following message along with the picture: I wonder how many of my friends would take the time to write and send Safyre a Merry Christmas card that she can hang on her card tree…. The message went viral and Safyre now has more Christmas cards in her possession than she ever dreamed possible. “I really think I am dehydrated from crying so much … This is absolutely amazing, it takes my breath away,” Dolder wrote on Facebook yesterday in response to the outpouring of support. “We, my family and I have been through so much darkness of this world. Then to see the most powerful BEAUTY of the world. The world coming together to make Safyre’s wish come true is unfathomable. “All along we knew God saved her for a reason, never in ours wild dreams, did we think she would move the hearts of many worldwide.” According to TMZ, meanwhile, Safyre is a huge Katy Perry fan. She even sang “Roar” as part of a school talent show. And she would love nothing more than to receive a Christmas card from Perry to add to her growing collection, which includes cards from such celebrities as Hulk Hogan and Yolanda Foster . “Safyre lost everything – her father, her mother, her brothers, her home, her favorite toy, her favorite outfit – everything that was familiar to her,” Dolder told Today. “She even lost the one thing we all take for granted – her reflection. The country star hath spoken. LeAnn Rimes gave an interview about having children of her own with husband Eddie Cibrian, and it provided the interweb with all sorts of ammunition. While it’s not very polite to ask a married couple if they plan on having kids, In Touch didn’t care and asked Rimes and Cibrian when they were going to start procreating . “I have two kids in my house half the time, so I know what it takes to be a parent,” Rimes said, referring to her two step-sons, Mason, 12, and Jake, 8 (mom is Cibrian’s ex-wife, Brandi Glanville). “I know my life will change – I just don’t know if I’m ready for that yet.” Helping Cibrian raise his boys has allowed Rimes “understand the capacity” she has to form a bond with someone that’s not her “own blood.” With that said, Rimes isn’t in any rush to have any of her own. “Life is fine just as it is,” Rimes said. “We have lots of love at home.” Rimes and Cibrian started rolling around on the set of Lifetime’s Northern Lights , causing both to divorce their spouses in 2009. Back in 2009, Eddie Cibrian was living the life of a Hollywood playboy and banging anything with a pulse.
