The attorney for the parking valet that was assaulted by Lebron‘s mom Gloria claims that James called the valet a “f*cking n*gger.” The parking valet, Rockefeller Sorel, filed a lawsuit against James earlier today. From TMZ : Angela L. Cohn, the attorney for valet Rockfeller Sorel, tells us, Gloria James spewed the hateful remark just as the confrontation became physical. Gloria was arrested after the incident, and TMZ just broke the story that the valet is suing her for assault and battery. As for our earlier story showing video of the confrontation, Cohn says any intimation that the valet was the aggressor is untrue. Cohn says the video shows Gloria was clearly the aggressor by leaning into Sorel as she launched into her alleged racial attack. The valet who claims he was slapped in the face by LeBron James’ mom Gloria James says he is just too traumatized by the experience to resume working. Parking cars at the Fountainbleau Hotel in Miami Beach can be tough when you’re experiencing what is TOTALLY a severe case of PTSD like he is, for sure. Sources close to Rockfeller Sorel say he’s taken an extended leave of absence and has been “very depressed” since Gloria James clocked him in the face. LeBROMMA DRAMA: Gloria James was arrested early Thursday a.m. Gloria, 43, was arrested over the incident – after which Sorel sought medical attention but showed minor, if any visible injuries – and charged with assault. She was a big pain with the police as well, reports indicate. Rockfeller Sorel will meet with his lawyer Monday to discuss his legal options, which is a nice way of saying he will be filing a GIANT ASS LAWSUIT shortly.
An all-star line-up of artists have contributed their works to aid the relief efforts for the victims of the disaster in Japan. Music from the hottest artists around has been compiled into Songs for Japan, an all-star album created to raise money for earthquake relief efforts. Available today on iTunes, the 38-track digital disc includes Nicki Minaj’s “Save Me,” Eminem’s “Love the Way you Lie (ft. Rihanna),” Beyoncé’s “Irreplaceable” and Cee Lo Green’s “It’s Okay.” The download is $9.99; a physical double disc will be released next month. The charity album is a joint effort between Universal Music Group, Sony Entertainment Music, Warner Music Group and EMI Music. More than 10,000 people have been declared dead, according to Japan’s National Police Agency. Proceeds from Songs for Japan will be donated to the Japanese Red Cross Society to assist survivors.
