Which Comedian Just Bought This New $1.75 Million Condo Via Realtor This comedian oversees plenty of trades as the host of “Let’s Make a Deal,” but recently he supervised a transaction off the set. The veteran television funnyman has purchased a luxury condominium in Pacific Palisades, reports the Los Angeles Times. He paid $1.75 million for the property found in the Rockwell Building, a coveted coastal high-rise that features just 10 single-level residences and six “penthouse” townhomes. His new digs boasts a host of luxe touches, including reclaimed white oak flooring, signature exposed concrete walls, custom built-ins and cabinets, and marble countertops. Ann Sacks tile and natural stone run throughout the home, which also features a row of French doors that open onto a private viewing terrace with handcrafted Moroccan cement tiles and floor-to-ceiling windows. In addition to its finer finishes, his new home comes complete with wired home automation, which includes built-in audio, lighting controls with a Nest thermostat, and private security systems. High School Denies Female Student’s Request To Run For Prom King A Pennsylvania high school student who was legally born female has been denied by the school board after requesting to run for Prom King. via Fox News A western Pennsylvania school board is reviewing a request by a biologically female student who wants to appear on the ballot for homecoming king. The Johnstown Tribune-Democrat reports the student, Kasey Caron, was “disappointed” that the Richland School Board did not immediately rule on the request Monday night saying, “I thought they were going to have a change of heart. I am still hoping for one.” Caron was denied a spot on the ballot after a driver’s license listed the student’s gender as female, though Caron says that has been changed to “male.” But school board Solicitor Timothy Leventry says the state’s legal standard is higher and says there’s no doubt that Caron is legally female.
