Saw 2 Hands-On Preview

TheFeed’s Jake “Jigsaw” Gaskill got his hands on bloody, horrible, torture-porn ordeal Saw 2 , and he thought it was pretty good. He’s a sick, sick man, saying: “As the game opened, I found myself in the same situation as the unfortunate character from the first scene of the movie Saw II: sitting in a chair with a Venus flytrap-like mask of death strapped onto my character’s head. The key to unlocking the trap had been unfortunately sewn into my face, just underneath my right eye. To get it out, I had to gently guide a scalpel along the stitches just below my eyeball. Once I had cut out the key, I was able to remove the trap just before it snapped shut.”

Activsion Files Lawsuit Against Ex-Infinity Ward Leadership — Hint: They’re Upset

Activision is not taking kindly to the legal accusations from the former heads of Call of Duty developer Infinity Ward. The LA Times acquired the Activision counterargument, filed this morning, and it shows a publisher fully prepared to take on both Vince Zampella and Jason West. The suit, which says Activision will withhold future royalty payments the duo are seeking, claims Vince and Zampella both “morphed from valued, responsible executives into insubordinate and self-serving schemers who attempted to hijack Activision’s assets for their own personal gain.” Electronic Arts came up in a memo acquired by G4 when the news first broke. Activision suspected West and Zameplla were in discussions with the major Activision competitor, and while Activision doesn’t call out EA by name in the suit, they allude to the supposed discussions. Activision alleges the two went “on a secret trip by private jet to Northern California, arranged by their Hollywood agent [West and Zampella are now represented by the powerful Creative Arts Agency], to meet with the most senior executives of Activision’s closest competitor.” Clearly, Activision isn’t about to pay the demands of their former developer royalty without a fight. How these legal filings interfere with West and Zampella forming a new studio are unknown. Source: LA Times Have something to share? Sitting on a news tip? E-mail me . Jon Gosselin Makes Good on Lawsuit Threat, Kate Gosselin Calls Out "Pathetic" Maneuver

A man of his word, Jon Gosselin made good on a threat to file legal papers asking a Pennsylvania judge for primary custody of his children with Kate Gosselin. Jon also wants the child support order that is currently in place – in which the huge douchebag is on the hook for a huge sum every month – reviewed by the judge. Jon claims the arbitrator in the divorce “failed to take into consideration the numerous factors provided for by the law in PA.” Such as Jon being a broke loser? His lawyer, Anthony F. List, said earlier this week that Kate is an “absentee mom” and that her being on Dancing with the Stars is the latest, flagrant example. Team Kate hit back that Jon’s attempt to win custody is “pathetic.” The worst part about this custody fight? Someone has to win. Mark Momjian, her attorney, hit back at him , saying Jon’s motives are transparent: “He’s never questioned her ability to provide for their children. He’s out of the limelight, while 23 million people are watching Kate on Dancing with the Stars .” Way to get in an irrelevant dig there about who’s more famous. Momjian adds, more validly, how it’s ironic that Kate is effectively the breadwinner, but when she goes to earn a living he then says she’s not caring for the kids. The lawyer defended Kate’s parenting and says the legal documents filed by Jon are so “incoherent” and flawed that he expects the judge to throw the case out. Momjian says that Jon Gosselin, who owes $20,000 a month in support and may be simply looking for a way to circumvent that, is out for Jon alone, adding: “Do I think his motivation is the children’s best interest. Squarely no.” Who should have custody of the Gosselin children?

Justin Bieber Discusses Career Backup Plan On ‘Tonight Show’

‘I always wanted to be a car mechanic,’ Bieber told Jay Leno. By Eric Ditzian Justin Bieber appears on “The Tonight Show” Photo: NBC Sure, things are going well for these days. He’s got the #1 album in the country, 1.7 million Twitter followers and counting, and he pulled off Thursday’s best April Fools’ prank when he seized control of Funny or Die, renaming it Bieber or Die . But if this whole teen sensation shebang doesn’t work out, Bieber has a backup plan that involves the career he had a hankering for before music swept him up. “I always wanted to be a car mechanic,” the 16-year-old told Jay Leno on Thursday’s edition of “The Tonight Show.” And now Biebs can actually drive a car, having hit the legal driving age last month. “I got a Range Rover,” he said. “It’s my first car. I don’t want to get too flashy.” Before sitting down to chat with Leno, the singer busted into a rendition of his hit single “Baby,” the same tune he performed last week on the “Late Show with David Letterman.” Earlier in the evening, he appeared on “Chelsea Lately,” where he did not sing but instead confessed he’d like to date either host Chelsea Handler or Kim Kardashian . Yes, it’s been a busy couple of weeks for Bieber as he promotes his new album, My World 2.0, and gets set to launch an international tour in June. So how did this all happen for him? How did Bieber end up a pop star and not a mechanic? On “Tonight,” the singer told an amusing version of how he was discovered after posting videos of himself on YouTube. “I started posting videos online and I just started getting bigger and bigger,” he laughed. “I got found by this manager who introduced me to Justin Timberlake and Usher, who both wanted to sign me. So we ended up in that war. Actually what happened was we went to Vegas. It was Usher and Justin — they got in the ring. Justin lost. He got knocked out.” Related Artists Justin Bieber

Jason Wahler Charged with DUI For 739th Time

Jason Wahler may not be a hard ass convict, but The Hills party boy is still making a run at DMX’s arrest record. The meathead was just charged with two counts of DUI after his second alcohol-related arrest in less than a month. According to the Orange County District Attorney, Jason Wahler, whose blood alcohol level was allegedly .15 percent, or nearly double the legal limit when he was busted on March 19 – faces six months behind bars if convicted. A week earlier, Wahler was arrested after a bar fight in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, only to be mysteriously bailed out and travel back across the border. He then got arrested in a country where bribes don’t work as easily. Jason Wahler and his circa 1995 frosted hair are seen in many mug shots. Here, he looks surprisingly coherent. Must have caught him on a rare sober night. In a statement, the ex-boyfriend of Lauren Conrad says he feels extremely ” ashamed ” after he was arrested again for driving under the influence. These are not the first such incidents for Wahler, who has been in rehab, and was arrested a staggering four times in as many states in one year. Wahler is disappointed by his own bad behavior and has apologized to fans of the MTV series, which is going off the air after its sixth season run.
