It’s Hugh Hefner’s birthday on April 9. He is 87 years old! It’s rather amazing that the Playboy founder (who shares Kristen Stewart’s birthday ) is still going strong after more than half a century in the spotlight. He’s also happily married these days to Crystal Harris . Guess even a bachelor who’s bedded over 1,000 women has to settle down at some point, and he recently said their union couldn’t be more idyllic. Hey, don’t knock it ’til you’ve tried it. Despite a 60-year-age gap (she turns 27 on April 29), the twosome is basking in wedded bliss and eternally happy. Wish the man, the myth, the legend all the best below!

So magnificent… John Legend is doing good in the neighborhood having just come up off the sale of his New York condo. Via TMZ reports : John Legend can add real estate GOD to his long list of accomplishments — the singer just unloaded his NYC condo for a whopping $775,000 PROFIT. Yeah, we said PROFIT. Legend bought the 1,359-square-foot East Village pad for $1.9 million back in 2009. Unfazed by the real estate market, Legend listed the crib a few months ago for $2.9 million — and made out like a bandit … selling for $2.675 million, according to docs. The place is sweet too — designed by primo designer Andres Escobar — it’s rockin’ floor-to-ceiling glass walls, awesome NYC views, rooftop deck and swimming pool … where his fiancée Chrissy Teigen probably swam half-nekked. Chrissy Teigen Talks About Wedding Plans With John Legend Opening up to Us Weekly at Project Sunshine’s Benefit in NYC Tuesday night, the swimsuit model–who got engaged to love of five years John Legend during a Maldives getaway over the holidays–said she isn’t willing to let wedding planning take over her life. In fact, “I feel like the anti-bride, because I watch all those shows and I hate them,” she told Us. “I go out of my way to try not to be too annoying . . . my biggest goal in life is to not be annoying about being a bride.” Teigen, 26, says she’d rather focus on the fun stuff: food and fashion, stressing that her big day will be very “food-oriented”–and will involved multiple costume changes. “I love dress shopping and I love talking about the wedding food. That’s what makes me happy,” Teigen revealed. “If you tell me to do a guest list, I cry. I hate it.” The 5-foot-8 beauty says she also didn’t waste any time picking out her first dress for her nuptials–a “simple” but “stunning” Monique Lhuillier gown. “I had been looking at online for so long . . . since the day I got engaged,” Teigen shared. “It’s so beautiful. I loved it. That was my excuse for having not waited. I don’t know what part [of the wedding] it will be worn for, but it will be worn and I’m very excited.” Teigen might not have wasted any time settling on a dress, but in general, she says she and Legend, 33, aren’t stressed about when they’ll make it official. “We’re going to take our time with [the rest of the planning],” Teigen told Us. “We’ve been together for so long.” Joked the model, “Hopefully I won’t hate him by then!” These two have been together forever and hopefully the marriage will be even happier than the wedding planning! Michael Jackson was honored with a hand-and-footprint ceremony at the famous Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood yesterday and to pay tribute to the legend, Melanie Fiona sang an acoustic version of the Jackson 5 hit “I’ll Be There.” Though she sang in a range higher than we’re used to hearing, she hit every note as Michael’s mother and children looked on.
