Robert Durst Left Cat’s Head On Judge’s Doorstep, Victim Claims

The strange case of Robert Durst continues to get more bizarre by the day. On March 14, Durst was arrested in connection with the 2001 death of his friend Susan Berman. He has since been charged with first-degree murder , meaning that he could face the death penalty if convicted. In the days following his arrest, those who knew Durst best  – or simply encountered him during the decades-long period in which he somehow managed to avoid prosecution – have come forward with strange stories of the real estate heir’s troubling behavior. Earlier this week, Douglas Durst stated that he believes his brother killed seven pet dogs as “practice” before allegedly murdering his wife Kathleen McCormack in 1982. Today, Durst has been accused of another disturbing act of animal mutilation by the former judge who presided over the 2003 trial in which Durst was acquitted of the murder of Morris Black. In an interview with the New York Daily News, Susan Criss recalls making a horrific discovery outside of her home, three years after Durst’s trial concluded. “It was June 29, 2006,” Criss tells the newspaper. “I came home from work around 5 pm, and you can imagine how hot it was. I saw something on the walk that leads straight to my front door. “It was a little gray cat that had been cut behind the shoulders. It was a head with its two front legs…It was not just thrown there, it was placed there. “I believe it was Robert Durst. I know this guy had a history of cutting up his dogs.” Criss says she first ran inside to make sure that Durst had not harmed her dogs. She then called local police, who performed several tests, but were unable to prove that Durst had killed the cat. Criss says she believes Durst left the head as revenge for her testifying against him at his parole hearing. Word around Hollywood is – Seth Rogen has been known to fire up the occasional doobie. Crazy, right? He must have glaucoma, or something. Anyway, in the past,  Rogen’s weed habit has resulted in some classic comedies and record-breaking sales for the Frito-Lay corporation, so it was never much of a problem. Then The Interview happened. No, we’re not saying Sony got hacked because Rogen was stoned when he decided to make a comedy about North Korea. But we are saying that The Interview resulted in Amy Pascal stepping down as head of Sony .  And what does that have to do with Rogen smoking pot? Roll up another and we’ll lay some truth on you: It seems that Pascal’s new job at Sony (she basically just changed titles) requires her to move to a new office.  That office just happens to be the one that was previously occupied by Rogen and his writing partner Evan Goldberg…and apparently Amy takes issue with the fact that the place reeks like one of Willie Nelson’s braids.  According to The Hollywood Reporter, Pascal is “unable to move into the suite” because of the powerful ” stench of marijuana ” left behind by Rogen and Goldberg. Last night, the world learned that Chris Brown is a father . That was weird enough, but as with all things Breezy, the story only gets more screwed up the deeper you look into it.
