We’re very sorry. We know you don’t want to hear any more about Kate Gosselin and Jon Gosselin. Trust us: we don’t want to write about them, either. But the Former Couple Who Never Seems to Entirely Go Away is back in the news and, based on this latest report, may continue to be in the news for several weeks to come. Because an ugly custody battle is allegedly brewing between the parents of eight. According to Hollywood Life, Jon Gosselin actually has his life together now and, as a result, he wants to spend a lot more time with his children. Kate and Jon, of course, are the parents to 13-year old sextuplets and 18-year old twins. They formerly anchored Jon and Kate Plus 8 on TLC until a pretty nasty break-up and subsequent divorce prompted the cancelation of that reality series. Kate now has primary custody of the kids, so much so that she stars in Kate Plus 8 along with the kids. HOWEVER… “[Jon’s] doing everything he can to win their next custody battle,” an insider tells the aforementioned website, adding; “He’s totally overhauled his life, he’s even back working a regular job again.” It’s about time, some might say. Jon worked as a DJ and even a stripper for awhile after becoming single, clearly suffering through some kind of mid-life crisis. But he’s now working as an I.T. administrator and earning “decent pay,” the Hollywood Life source claims, expounding as follows: “He knows that’s what he has to do to get his kids back. He’s really hopeful that this will help him get more time with his kids.” Controversy has arisen of late over Kate’s treatment of Collin. The young teenager has been confirmed to have some kind of behavioral issue and has been sent away… somewhere. But no one close to the Gosselins will say what’s going on with him and fans continue to be concerned that Collin has been practically kicked out of the family . “The way Kate is handling things with Collin breaks Jon’s heart, but he has no say,” a source previously told Hollywood Life. “She controls everything, it’s her way or the highway when it comes to the kids, including Collin.” Jon and Kate don’t have much contact these days, but when they do… well… THINGS GET UGLY . We can’t imagine the sort of vitriol that will be spat back and forth if these two end up on opposite sides in court again. Okay, fine, we can imagine. Actor Ethan Cutkosky was arrested last week on suspicion of misdemeanor driving under the influence near Los Angeles. According to The Associated Press the actor, 18, was pulled over after being spotted straddling lanes. A local sergeant told The AP that blood-alcohol tests are still pending and representatives for Cutkosky and Showtime didn’t immediately return a request for comment Tuesday. Have you heard the good news? Or the technically good but still very, very concerning news, as it were? Amber Portwood is pregnant with her second child! After several outlets reported that Amber is expecting a baby with her boyfriend of approximately two seconds, Andrew Glennon, Amber confirmed it herself on Friday. She shared the news on Instagram, saying “I’m very excited for my future with Andrew and our little family we are starting together!” She also did an interview with Us Weekly in which she explained that “When I first found out, I was a little scared,” but “after the initial shock, it was nothing but happy thoughts and just enjoying my time with my boyfriend.” “I just kind of sat down and thought about it and realized that it was a big step in my life and it was a good thing actually, and I was really happy within 30 minutes.” It seems like a very short amount of time to come to terms with all that, but hey, we know that Amber isn’t really one to take things slow. After all, she and Andrew began dating in August , barely three months ago, and she just met the guy in June. It’s also worth mentioning that she met him while filming Marriage Boot Camp, the show she went on to try to save her relationship with Matt Baier. So there was literally no downtime between Matt and Andrew. And it’s not exactly like Andrew was the knight in shining armor who saved her from ol’ douchey Matt, either. Two of Andrew’s ex-girlfriends have restraining orders against him , and they’ve accused him of stalking them. He’s really and truly a creep, and in some ways, he’s even worse than Matt. And hey, since we keep talking about Matt, how do you think he’s handling all of this? Hint: not that well. Radar Online reached out to him to ask him about the pregnancy news, and it sounds like he wasn’t aware of it until they called him — his first response was apparently “You’re kidding.” When he gathered his thoughts, he said “Amber is a great mother. If this is what she wants then I’m extraordinarily happy for her and I wish them nothing but the best.” He also said that while he hasn’t talked to her “at all” since their split, he did plan to “text her congratulations.” As for his own life, he said that he’s “doing great,” and that he’s even got a new significant other himself. It can’t be easy for him though — with as many kids as he has out there and as much as he loved Amber’s fame and money, you’d have to imagine that he wanted to be the one to impregnate her. And as one of his friends explains to Hollywood Life, he really is struggling with this development. It’s because “Matt has a lot of regret about their breakup,” and “he feels like Amber is the one that got away.” “There’s still a part of him that was hoping they might eventually get back together, so this pregnancy news hit him hard.” Aww, poor guy! Except wait, they broke up because he failed a lie detector test , specifically a question about whether or not he made a sexual advance towards another woman. And also because he stole thousands and thousands of dollars from her, and said horrible, humiliating things about her on national television, and tried to control her whole entire life … the list goes on and on. So yeah, it’s definitely a good thing Amber got away from him and cut ties in such a permanent way. Now we just have to hope that Andrew manages to kep his own creeper tendencies at bay, and also that Amber somehow manages to develop some parenting skills in the upcoming months. Then we’ll be set! While not every lady spends her days gazing forlornly out the window, hoping that a dashing man will come by and sweep her off her feet, that’s still a perfectly acceptable way of finding your happiness. And it looks like happiness has found Lady Gaga. Remember reports that Christian Carino asked Lady Gaga’s father for his blessing to marry Lady Gaga? Well, guess what?! Us Weekly reports that Lady Gaga and Christian Carino are engaged ! So, as we told you back in July, Christian Carino was spending time with Lady Gaga and her family. Not every boyfriend — even serious ones — gets along with his girlfriend’s family, but apparently Christian didn’t have a hard time getting along with Gaga’s family. We were admittedly feeling less than comfortable with the report that he asked Lady Gaga’s father for his blessing to propose to her. There’s a lot about that antiquated custom that speaks of unequal gender dynamics. Basically, we tend to associate that sort of thing with, say, the Duggar fertility cult, where daughters are the property of their father until he agrees to transfer that property to an approved husband. (Gross) But it may be that Christian Carino was just testing the waters and making sure that he wasn’t going to upset Lady Gaga’s relatives and that they didn’t think that he was taking advantage of her somehow. After all, Christian Carino and Lady Gaga started dating back in February. That is not a long time to be in a relationship. Whatever it was, it apparently went over well — because they apparently got engaged over the summer. We hope that news about that breaking didn’t spoil whatever surprise Christian Carino had planned. Us reports that the couple’s current focus is, of course, on Lady Gaga’s health . Lady Gaga has fibromyalgia, which you’ve probably heard about through commercials for prescription medicines if nowhere else. Fibromyalgia is an agonizing illness that causes widespread muscle pain and tenderness. Other symptoms can include fatigue, memory problems, and mood shifts and disorders. Fibromyalgia is a chronic ailment, meaning that it can come and go with flare-ups that are difficult if not impossible to predict. Chronic illnesses absolutely suck, folks. We don’t know how many symptoms Lady Gaga is experiencing with fibromyalgia. Every patient is different. She’s currently focused upon recovery. Honestly, we think that it’s great that Christian Carino and Lady Gaga are engaged even with this knowledge. Unfortunately, a lot of people — whether they’re dating or married — seem to step back when their partner develops an illness. Chronic ailments, in particular, seem to send some loved ones running for the hills. It’s sad, but true. Just look at the suspicious timing of The Weeknd ending things with Selena Gomez . Reports say that he started to lose interest right around when she got her kidney transplant. We’re really rooting for Lady Gaga and Christian Carino, though. Maybe they’ll take that whole “in sickness and in health” thing seriously. Lady Gaga has done so much good for the world. We don’t just mean her music, though good music makes the world a better place just by spreading passion, art, inspiration, and joy. She’s been a prominent proponent of LGBT+ rights from day one, using her voice and platform to stand up for minority rights has done an incalculable amount of good for the world. She deserves good in her life and she deserves love. We just look forward to when she and Christian confirm this with an announcement. But that will come at a time of their choosing. A few years ago, if you saw a name of a beloved celebrity trending, you clicked because you worried that they might be dead. These days, in the wake of the Harvey Weinstein sexual harassment scandal , you see their name pop up, and you worry that they might have committed sexual assault. Just today, it came out that director Brett Ratner was accused of sexual assault by multiple actresses. Well, Dustin Hoffman’s name is trending right now … and, well, he’s still alive.. We might think of Dustin Hoffman, these days, as a living legend. He’s a veteran actor and, up until today, was widely respected. Once upon a time, though, he was a young actor at the top of his game. Anna Graham Hunter has come forward with her story, accusing Dustin Hoffman of sexually harassing her when she was only 17. She shared her story in The Hollywood Reporter . Just because this happened in 1985 does not make this okay, folks. “When I was a senior in high school in New York City, interning as a production assistant on the set of the Death of a Salesman TV film, he asked me to give him a foot massage my first day on set; I did.” Massaging can be entirely non-sexual or pretty explicitly sexual and everything in-between. Because of that ambiguity, we’d say that if you’re going to ask a 17-year-old for a massage, you should probably be their peer — like, say, a classmate. If not, you should be a trustworthy family member. Based upon this, there was no ambiguity about how Dustin Hoffman regarded Anna Graham. “He was openly flirtatious, he grabbed my ass, he talked about sex to me and in front of me.” That’s not appropriate around a 17-year-old or in a workplace. And the butt-grabbing might be the worst part of it. “One morning I went to his dressing room to take his breakfast order; he looked at me and grinned, taking his time. Then he said, ‘I’ll have a hard-boiled egg … and a soft-boiled clitoris.'” Even if he were saying that to a lover, that would be super weird . Speaking to another woman, especially in a work setting and especially a minor, that crosses some serious lines. So how did the other people respond? And how did Anna Graham? “His entourage burst out laughing. I left, speechless. Then I went to the bathroom and cried.” That is heartbreaking. Reflecting back on it all, she summarizes things pretty honestly. “I loved the attention from Dustin Hoffman. Until I didn’t.” Anna Graham brought up letters that she had written to her sister at the time, detailing her life on the set. “When I was walking Dustin to his limo, he felt my ass four times. I hit him each time, hard, and told him he was a dirty old man. He took off his hat and pointed to his head (shaved for the part) and said, ‘No, I’m a dirty young man, I have a full head of hair.'” On February fourth of 1985, her letter details how things got worse … but also better. “Today this business got scarier. Or at least less appealing. This morning when I asked Dustin what he wanted for breakfast, he said something that beat even his lows. It was worse than anything anyone has ever said to me on the street.” Well, we know what he said — the “soft-boiled” line. Creepy. “It was so gross I couldn’t say anything. I just turned around and walked out.” That’s a very understandable reaction. “Then later I tried to get into a serious conversation with Frankie about why Dustin is like that. I don’t know how Dustin knew what we were talking about, but he shouted, ‘Anna! Are you badmouthing me? Anna! Get over here, Anna!’ The whole crew was cracking up, and I ducked behind a set.” There was more fallout. But maybe it was worth it. “Later, I was delivering lunches when John, Stephen, and Dustin came down the hall and he shouted, ‘Anna! So you think I’m a sexist pig, huh? Anna!’ The whole fucking studio heard him. So I told him that I didn’t appreciate his wandering hands or his comments. He apologized and said he would stop.” She said that he did in fact stop, and that he started acting towards her the way that he acted when his wife was around. Gentlemanly, for the most part. On February 20th of 1985, she reached her conclusion about him. “No one is 100 percent good or bad. Dustin’s a pig, but I like him a lot.” The actor has responded. In a statement to the Associated Pres s, Dustin Hoffman issued a sincere-sounding apology. “I have the utmost respect for women and feel terrible that anything I might have done could have put her in an uncomfortable situation.” It’s not clear if he read her account, but he clearly got the gist of it. “I am sorry. It is not reflective of who I am.” This is one of those semi-apologies that we so often see in Hollywood. It could mean that he’s not sorry at all … but it more likely means that he’s genuinely sorry about it, now that he’s 30 years older and wiser, but still doesn’t want to admit explicitly to anything. Lawsuits are real things, folks. This is complicated. The time at which this took place and the act that Anna Graham appreciated his attention — up to a point — doesn’t mean anything. After all, there’s no statute of limitations on something being bad. Sexual harassment isn’t excusable just because it happened a long time ago. It’s possible that Dustin Hoffman misread some things (a lot of men take friendliness as genuine flirtation), but again, that’s an explanation and not an excuse. Like Anna Graham, we find it hard to hate Dustin Hoffman for this — after all, what she describes is much more good-natured than the menacing predatory accounts that we’ve heard from actresses like Selma Blair or in Lupita Nyong’o’s Weinstein story . Those were stories about calculated predators who lured women under the guise of work and then repeatedly tried to pressure them into unwanted sex. But let’s be very clear — this story about Dustin Hoffman is the story of an older man sexually harassing a minor. It’s a story about other people ignoring it. Earlier this week, we reported that Farrah Abraham has been fired from Teen Mom: OG after seven seasons as one of the stars of MTV's flagship reality series. The mother of one says she was let go as a result of her recent sex work, and indeed, the network was probably less than thrilled with Farrah masturbating on a live stream in front of thousands of viewers. One of the most magical things about Teen Mom is the amount of gossip it generates — and, as you can imagine, pregnancy rumors make up a big, big part of all that gossip. At least once every month or so, we’ll hear whispers that one of the moms is expecting again. Sometimes the rumors turn out to be true — remember all the speculation about Jenelle Evans last year, all that talk before her pregnancy was confirmed in a police report? (Still one of the most incredible moments in TM history, by the way.) But unfortunately — or fortunately, depending on who we’re talking about — the pregnancies are usually just tabloid fodder. We thought that was the case with the latest round of pregnancy rumors surrounding Amber Portwood. After all, she’s been dating her new boyfriend, Andrew Glennon, for just three months. And that’s a generous estimate. Surely she wouldn’t be expecting a child with a man she’s just known since the summer, right? WRONG. It’s official, y’all: Amber is pregnant. For real. Feel free to take a few moments to gather yourself, to try to recover from the shock … Though Amber hasn’t commented on the matter herself, People did confirm the pregnancy, which is about as official as it gets. A report from The Ashley’s Reality Roundup offers up a few additional details — now we know that the pregnancy is the reason Amber didn’t show up for the big Teen Mom party in L.A. last month. “The official word told to everyone was that she didn’t come because she was sick,” a source revealed, “but basically everyone knew it was morning sickness.” “She’s been having a hard time so far, but Amber is totally thrilled about the pregnancy.” Look, we’re happy if Amber is happy, but there are quite a few reasons to not be thrilled about this pregnancy. One, another source told The Ashley that Teen Mom OG producers have known about this whole thing since Amber and Andrew’s vacation to Hawaii. That was mid-September, so if Amber was far enough along to know she was pregnant and to start telling people, that means she’d have to have conceived pretty much the second she and Andrew started dating . Is it really that hard to wait to have a baby with someone? Just at least until you’ve known them, say, six months? Two — and this one goes along with that first issue — there wasn’t a lot of downtime between Amber’s breakup with Matt Baier and the start of her relationship with Andrew. She broke up with Matt for good at the end of June, when they wrapped up filming their season of Marriage Boot Camp. That means that there’s a chance this could be Matt’s baby. Hey, we know his sperm is up to the task, right? Three, in case you forgot, Amber wasn’t all that great a mother the first time around. Sorry, but it’s true. It’s been a while, so you may have forgotten, but she was never that interested in parenting, to the point that she’d leave baby Leah crying in a crib without sheets, with nothing but a bottle of Kool-Aid for comfort. Child protective services were even called on her at one point, because she beat Gary in front of Leah. Though they were both immature and kind of awful in the beginning, Gary was able to step up and be the parent that Leah needs, while Amber continues to flake even on visitation. Will Andrew be able to step up like that? Which brings us to our fourth point — Andrew is a terrible person. Two of his ex-girlfriends have restraining orders against him that were filed after he allegedly stalked and threatened them. He’s not exactly prime baby daddy material. And finally, Amber has said in the not-so-distant past that she’d never have more children because of the medications she takes to maintain her mental health. She suffers from borderline personality disorder and she’s also bipolar, and she relies on her medication to keep her stable. She explained on an old Teen Mom episode that she needs to take those medications “for the rest of my life,” and “I can’t, I can’t get pregnant on this medication.” Well, she could technically get pregnant, but the meds “would mess up the fetus.” In addition to that, she said that it would also be a bad idea for her to get off her meds just to have a baby, because “If I do not have medication, I will not be normal. I would have crazy mood swings.” So … what happened with all that? Look, best wishes and all, but there’s no way this pregnancy is going to be nice and sweet and drama-free. There’s literally no way. The domino effect continues to befall black celebrities who publicly supported Donald Trump, and Steve Harvey is the latest to feel the heat. It’s being reported that ratings for Harvey’s new L.A.-based daytime talk show are tanking fast, thanks to his visit to Trump Tower earlier this year. Source: NBC / NBC Steve Harvey has been on the receiving end of bad press practically all year, first there was the heavily criticized and ill-advised meeting with Trump, then the public memo he sent staff members instructing that they are not allowed to look him in the face and his totally insensitive comments about Flint’s drinking water. Now, The Root is reporting that the ratings for his talk show are severely suffering as a result. Via The Root: [First the] ratings for the Harvey-hosted ‘ Family Feud’ dropped, then half the audience for his show ‘ Little Big Shots’ disappeared into thin air. [His previous show,] NBC’s ‘ Steve Harvey Show’ consistently had a 2.2 in the ratings. [However] his new show, ‘ Steve , ’ had a 1.8 share, but after Harvey’s Trump visit his ratings fell to a 1.2. He also regularly loses [viewers] to Wendy Williams and is barely keeping up with Rachael Ray and Jerry Springer. Not only are the ratings tanking for virtually every project on which he’s working, but the costs of producing the shows have increased because of his move to Los Angeles and his payment demands. Many have speculated that at least one of the entities may cancel his contract, which is feasible because—for the first time in his career—he doesn’t own any of his content. Apparently Harvey is now on the race to repair his image, reportedly hiring an image consultant and a top PR firm to clean things up. He recently stated that “meeting with Donald Trump was the worst mistake of my life. I should have never gone up there.” Only time will tell if fans will welcome Harvey back with open arms, however based on the recent repercussions both Tina Campbell and Chrisette Michele have faced for supporting Trump, things don’t look good. As the new creative director for Tretorn, so his main focus in recent days–and for the decade he hasn’t been releasing any music–has been on clothing. He even has his sights set on releasing his own line of Anita Baker T-Shirts, which sparked after buying some online and being disappointed with both the quality and the fact that he knew Anita herself wasn’t seeing any profits from it. This interview is one of Dre’s most introspective yet, talking about the fact that he moved from New York City because he had lived all he was supposed to do in Atlanta. After both of his parents died and his son with Erykah Badu went off to college, he found himself only doing things that were harmful to him or his mental health, so NYC was the change he needed. He also talks about parallels between him and his father, and how seeing him die alone made him reflect on his own habits of sabotaging perfectly good relationships. Though he’s said before that he doesn’t want to be a 40-year-old rapper–and he’s now 42–the Outkast superstar hasn’t completely thrown away all hope of ever giving us a full solo project. Mr. Benjamin refers to himself as a “jack of no trades,” and says that he never thought of himself a as good rapper, which has led him to this point in his life, where he feels he doesn’t have a pulse on hip-hop anymore. He says he might still have one or two fights (read: albums) left in him, but there’s no telling when anything could come out. He does say, however, that once he dies, fans will find hours and hours of unreleased music that he’s made throughout the years.
