Sure, she is technically ninth generation Mexican-American, and it’s a good marketing hook, but girl is so whitewashed, raised like a spoiled white brat, turned Hollywood and forgot she was Mexican unless it came in handy as she struggled to communicate with her maid and garderner she underpays…because her life was about fitting in in Texas and not feeling like the immigrant her parents were…you know spoiled and out of touch like 8 generations of Mexican-Americans before her… So while I like and love all things Mexican, Eva Longoria isn’t one of them, for a reason I relate best with a story of a black friend of mine LITERALLY turning his chair around at the strip club whenever a black stripper came on stage, because he felt she was giving up on her people, she wasn’t fighting to progress as a person, she was being a cliche and thus she fucking sucked and he couldn’t stomach her… That’s how I feel about this mid 40s chick from one TV show…doing her best Kim Kardashian impression now that she’s been married to a black dude…and is thick / fat…when did fat become thick…like thick isn’t fat…and thick is good but fat is bad…I don’t know..but I know this non-Mexican Mexican is a fucking scam…. By now, you’re probably aware that Ariel Winter’s Instagram is more popular within the key demographic than her lumbering dinosaur of a sitcom. The actress’ racy selfies have made her a favorite on social media and in the tabloids, but there are downsides to being popular in those crowds. Ever post something, feel a little too exposed, and immediately regret it? Imagine that times several million and you start to get an idea of Ariel’s plight. While we’re sure she’d be the first to admit that she courts and enjoys the attention, Ariel understandably gets frustrated when the comments and media coverage go too far. And now, she’s clapping back with a lengthy rant against the press, the toxic environment on social media, and the perception that she’s using risque clothing to boost her career. “Something I wish people would realize…I am not TRYING to be featured on Snapchat,” Winter’s rant begins. “I am not trying to be pap’d everywhere I do, I am literally just LIVING and unfortunately, I can’t do that without paparazzi following me around everyday,” she adds. “I’m not trying to show you my ass in shorts when I go to the grocery store. I’m trying to live my life. People wear shorts. People have wardrobe malfunctions. No one is perfect.” Winter went on to address the criticism she’s faced for dressing “inappropriately” for certain events, such as when she attended the premiere of a children’s movie in a see-through dress . “I’m not a stylist! I don’t know what to wear everyday so I look ‘appropriate’ or ‘fashionable.’ Also, screw having to always look appropriate or fashionable,” she wrote. “For what? Society? Who gets to decide what is appropriate or fashionable???? I wear what I like and no one should fault me for that. I don’t want people to constantly see me in the news for going to dinner, or grocery shopping, or anything,” she continued. “I want to be in the news when I ASK for it by going to a publicized event, or EVEN BETTER when I have work out/coming out! So trust me, I don’t want to see me in shorts putting water in my car every single d—n day as much as you don’t.” The common rebuttal there will likely be that Ariel could easily afford a stylist, and if she’s so bothered by criticisms of her attire, it might be a worthwhile investment. That said, we see her point, and she certainly shouldn’t feel obligated to hire a personal shopper. From there, Ariel delves into an even more serious topic: her troubled childhood , and the ways in she feels she was sexualized as an adolescent. “I’d also like to address the tweets I get saying ‘you accused your mother of sexualizing you yet you’re a whore.’ I was a CHILD being dressed like I was 24. I was 8-13 years old,” the actress writes. “I wasn’t an ADULT as I am now. As you mature at 16, 17, 18 you further develop your own identity and can make decisions for yourself. As a child, you do as you’re told regardless of what is good for you.” “I’m an ADULT now, who can make my own choices and have my own identity. And just because I DECIDE to show my body occasionally doesn’t mean I’m unintelligent or that I’m talentless or that I have no self respect,” she adds. The entire piece is worth reading, and Ariel addresses a number of important topics. It’s impossible to tell at this point where her career might be headed, but it’s good to know that Ariel is aware of the various pitfalls of fame, even if–like just about every other celebrity–she’s not entirely sure how to avoid them. Kylie Jenner isn’t really known for her subtlety, so it’s good to be reminded that she knows more way to be seductive than posing in a fishnet bra . Even when she’s just advertising things on Instagram, it’s great to see her wearing a dress! Well … sort of. You’ll see. Kylie Jenner posed in these two photos below. She’s wearing what first looks like a very short bathrobe. Now, Kylie is a SoCal girl through and through, meaning that she finds 60 degrees Fahrenheit to be “bitter cold.” So as much as this girl likes to take off her clothes for the camera, we imagine that whatever bathrobe she wears off camera is probably one of those super thick ones so that she stays warm. Don’t get us wrong, Kylie looks phenomenal in both photos, but it didn’t look like something that she’d choose to wear in her everyday life. Well, we naturally looked at the captions. We weren’t surprised to find that it was an ad. We were surprised to learn something else, though. Like we said, she looks great. But this isn’t a robe at all, allegedly. According to the company that sells these (and Kylie is definitely modeling in this as an ad, even tagging it as ad, which is great since other stars are getting in trouble with the FTC for posting Instagram ads without the tag ), this is a dress. Yes, really. (We’re not defending that Fashion Nova choose to call this a dress, mind you, just … assuring you that this is the label that they have chosen) Specifically? This is called the “Sugar Free Dress.” But whatever they choose to call it, we wouldn’t recommend wearing this to a job interview or trying to wear it to prom. Kylie looks great in it, but it really does look like it’s just one slight slip away from baring … something . But hey, there are some parties where an adult would look great in this. Kylie’s been doing a lot over the past couple of years to shed her imagine of being a kid. She’s been very successful, despite being the youngest member of a celebrity family and despite growing up in front of the eyes fo millions of viewers. (Also, she’s just been very successful, period — she’s a makeup mogul whose business could be worth a billion dollars in just a few years ) Life of Kylie didn’t get the best ratings . There are no guarantees that it will be renewed for another season, no matter how inexpensive reality shows are to film. Part of that is because the popularity of specific types of reality shows waxes and wanes. Part of that is because nobody wants to sit around and listen to Kylie whine about being famous for a half hour. But these pics are as good of a reminder as any that Kylie can still share bits of her life and monetize it through social media. It's been just over a week since Joseph Duggar and Kendra Caldwell got married , but the couple has kept a surprisingly low profile in the days since they exchanged vows. We don't know where Joe and Kendra honeymooned, or how they're enjoying married life thus far. But thanks to a video the couple uploaded over the weekend, we know exactly how they feel about the newest addition to the Duggar clan. As you may have heard, Josh and Anna Duggar welcomed their fifth child earlier this month. The news received a mixed response from fans, as folks generally aren't thrilled when known child abusers have more kids, but within the Duggar clan, Josh and Anna received nothing but praise and well-wishes. And because video greetings uploaded to to public forums are the preferred method of communication for this family, Joseph and Kendra offered kind words on YouTube. The delivery on these clips is usually awkward and strained, as though there's a gunman with cue cards just off camera, but the sentiment is nice, we guess. It seems Kendra is still getting accustomed to addressing the Duggar faithful, and she seems more than a little uncomfortable. But hey, she'll get used to it, right? She better, as unless she's involved in some sort of a massive scandal on par with what Josh did, she'll be living her life in front of a camera from here on out. F rustrated with the local police investigation of Kenneka Jenkins ’ death, some Chicago activists are planning protests to encourage the FBI to examine the case. Community activist Mark Carter intends to lead a 30-day protest targeting businesses in Rosemont, Illinois, where 19-year-old Jenkins was found dead in a hotel walk-in freezer, to prompt an independent investigation. “If we can’t get the answers that we want, then we must cause Rosemont an economic hardship, ” hes said, according to WGN-TV . Carter added: “They must feel this. No cover up. You will not cover up the death of our children. This has gone on for far too long.” The news outlet reported that family and friends held a memorial service on Saturday for the teen. Not long after they honored her life with the symbolic release of purple balloons, many of them marched to FBI Chicago headquarters and urged the bureau to open an investigation. Jenkins went missing early Sept. 9 after a night of partying with friends at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Rosemont, a suburban of Chicago. She was found dead in a walk-in storage freezer in the same hotel. Police investigators concluded that she staggered drunk into the freezer and closed the door. However, evidence began emerging on social media that suggests foul play was involved. NBC News Chicago reported that the police released on Friday 36 hours of hotel surveillance video, which shows the teenager staggering. However, none of the footage shows her walking into the freezer. That omission has led many to believe the police altered the video. OLIVIER MORIN/AFP/Getty Images Prime Minister’s Father Tries To Help Convicted Pedophile According to reports, Iceland’s government was in falling apart on Friday after a coalition party quit because the prime minister’s father tried to clear a pedophile’s name. The centrist Bright Future Party said in a Facebook post that there was “a serious breach of trust,” causing their withdrawal. Prime Minister Bjarni Benediktsson took office in January with his Independence Party, the Reform Party and the centrists. Benediktsson’s father, Benedikt Sveinsson, reportedly helped a convicted child molester apply for a clause in the country’s judicial system that allows those who’ve served sentences for serious crimes to “restore their honor.” The criminal in question is Hjalti Sigurjon Hauksson, who in 2004 was convicted of raping his stepdaughter almost every day for 12 years, and sentenced to five years in jail. Sveinsson made a statement claiming he didn’t know his actions would do anything beside helping a convicted felon get back on their feet. He said, “what was supposed to be a small gesture of good will towards a convicted criminal has instead turned into a continuation of the tragedy for the victim. For this I again apologize.”
