Controversy has broken out online over what is depicted in the following video. Shared on its Facebook page by gun manufacturer Beretta, the clip features a 10-year old girl sitting in the seat of a pickup truck and opening up a present. She tears off the wrapper as quickly as she can and then instantly breaks into tears upon seeing what is inside the box. It's a shotgun. “Oh my goodness, this is crazy, oh my, I can't breathe,” says the girl, prior to being encouraged by unseen adults to open the weapon's case. When the young recipient sees the model of shotgun (a 686 Silver Pigeon), she screams with pure happiness. “Making memories starts the moment you open your first 686,” wrote Beretta along with the post, adding: “A touching video sent by Presley's parents, shows the emotional moment when she realizes she finally has her very own 686 Silver Pigeon.” The video has been shared over 30,000 times as of this writing and, as you might expect, has generated quite a few comments from gun advocates and gun control advocates. Do you see anything wrong with this Facebook post? Is it irresponsible for parents to actually give a child a gun? Or could one argue that it's actually responsible to teach a child how to best handle a weapon if he or she will later come into frequent contact with one? WATCH AND THEN DEBATE:
We’ve got some big news, friends. Really big, like, bigger than Beyonce being pregnant with twins. Ha ha, just kidding, no news for the rest of all time could be as big as Beyonce being pregnant with twins . But this new thing is still pretty good! Pop princess Ariana Grande, according a tweet made by the Associated Press earlier today, is pregnant. PREGNANT! “If Ariana Grande is pregnant,” you may be wondering as this shocker sinks in at home, “why haven’t I heard about it?” Well, don’t worry your little heart, because there are a couple of reasons you may have missed the big announcement. One is the previously mentioned Beyonce pregnancy. The Queen of England could be pregnant right now and everyone would still be talking about Beyonce , let’s just be real about that. And two, shortly after the AP tweeted the Ariana pregnancy announcement, the tweet was deleted – and replaced with a statement. In its place, they wrote “@APEntertainment has deleted from its account a tweet about Ariana Grande. It was unauthorized. We are investigating.” Hmmm … We did not see this coming, to say the least, nor do we know what to make of it. But basically, one of two things is happening here. One, someone managed to hack the Associated Press’ Twitter account, or a rogue employee decided to have some fun. That person made this tweet, it’s not true, the AP retracted it, someone got fired if it was an internal prank, and that’s the end of the story. Honestly, that scenario makes sense. The “who’s the father” part seems a little scandalous for the AP, and most every tweet on their account contains a link to a story or video on their site. This one doesn’t. But the second possibility, the less likely but infinitely more fun possibility is that Ariana really is pregnant, and someone let it slip. It wouldn’t be impossible. An overzealous employee with the Twitter login info spilling the beans a little too soon? Wouldn’t be a first. Moreover, the 23-year-old Ariana has been dating Mac Miller for several months now, and they seem to be going strong, so … Somewhat lost in her amazing tirade against slut shaming back in December was confirmation that she and Mac are pretty serious. When a fan of Mac’s saw them together and began making crude remarks about her, she had some high praise for the rapper. As Grande said of Miller, “I’m an adult human being in a relationship with a man who treats me with love and respect.” It was part of a larger point, but you get what we’re saying, right? If she’s with someone who treats her with love and respect, she’s probably sleeping with him. And if she’s sleeping with him … Look, things happen, that’s all we’re saying. In case you haven’t been keeping up on the personal affairs of an actress who hasn’t appeared in a hit movie in 13 years (Jeez, what have you been doing with your life?!), Lindsay appeared to have put the partying life behind her in recent months. First, she deleted all of her Instagram photos and left only a traditional Muslim greeting in their place . When she reappeared on social media, it was with a bunch of Jolie-esque photos in which she’s seen posing with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdorgan. Teen Mom 2 star and derelict of society Adam Lind had two warrants out for his arrest late last year for falling behind on child support. According to reports, the situation has not improved. In September, the douche failed to pay over $9,000 in child support to the mothers of his daughters, Chelsea Houska and Taylor Halbur. Now the deadbeat dad is apparently up to his old tricks. Stories of Adam Lind being a deadbeat dad are about as surprising as Sean Spicer reciting alternative facts, yet still, it’s always jarring. Who willingly stiffs their own daughters out of spite? “Come February he’s going to be $7,000 behind for Taylor,” a source close to Halbur told celebrity news site Radar Online today. “Child support took a little over $2,000 from him,” the insider goes on, “but she hasn’t gotten the money yet in case he disputes it.” The source claims Lind, “Never willingly pays.” It would be one thing if Lind were legit broke. He’s not, according to sources close to him. “It’s crap that he can spend money on cars and car parts, but he is not willingly spending money on his children,” the source said. “He always puts himself first.” Insiders close to Houska, who just welcomed her baby son Watson with husband Cole DeBoer claim he hasn’t paid her since September. Lind owed $3,805 in child support to Houska for their daughter Aubree, 7, last fall. He owed Halbur $5,489 for their daughter Paislee, 3. The same daughters he loves to show off on social media while acting like he’s the world’s greatest dad, only maligned by MTV’s editing. No, it’s not because he can’t pay … he just “isn’t paying because he’s an idiot and thinks that the amount isn’t fair,” a source told Radar . Because that’s how the system works, right? According to Minnehaha County Court documents, Lind is ordered to pay $945 per month to Houska and $1,203 per month to Halbur. He also must provide medical insurance. That’s not a small amount, but he did father two kids, and clearly he doesn’t seem to have a hard time spending money on other things. Unless you’re Adam and then you literally do stop paying because you just feel like it. We expect to see more of Chelsea and Taylor Halbur teaming up against Adam as his transgressions continue to get worse and worse.

Yesterday, we reported on the considerable drama and confusion surrounding the possibility that Javi Marroquin walked in on Kailyn Lowry with another man during filming for the current season of Teen Mom 2. At the time of the alleged incident, Javi and Kailyn were already living in separate homes and working out the terms of their divorce, but it made for a tense standoff and a lot of he-said, she-said with regard to what really went down. The problem, it seems, is that Kailyn lied to Javi about her whereabouts, telling him she was at Wal-Mart and he would have to wait to drop off their son, when in fact, she was at home with the new dude in her life. To make matters worse, he claims that she misled him, and insisted that the mystery man was a platonic friend, when in fact, he’s the new love in her life. Javi claims he’s pissed not that Kailyn has found someone new, but that she lied both about her whereabouts and about the nature of her relationship, despite having previously expressed a desire for a completely open and honest co-parenting relationship. Now, Javi has revealed that he also just plain doesn’t like Kailyn’s new man. “I have my reasons,” Marroquin told Radar when asked why he’s no fan of the guy. “I don’t care about that. Well I kind of do, but that’s not important.” The guy apparently won’t be making many appearances on TM2, and he’s asked that his identity be kept under wraps, but it seems he’s wrapped up in the constant drama of Kailyn’s life nonetheless. A source close to Kailyn confirms that the relationship between Lowry and her new boyfriend has “slowly progressed from friendship into what it is now.” The same insider adds that both Kailyn and her new man would like to keep their relationship off camera as much as possible: “For the past eight years her whole life has been public and scrutinized and blasted everywhere, this is something happy she wants to just keep private,” the source says. “Plus the guy wants nothing to do with the TV world or any of the drama that comes with it.” So it looks as though Kailyn’s refusal to film until producers agreed to leave certain parts of her life out of the show was successful. Jason Hoppy has finally gone too far with Bethenny Frankel. One could easily say, of course, that Hoppy went too far many times in the past with Frankel. Back in November, for instance, Hoppy was accused by Frankel’s then-boyfriend , Dennis Shields, of sending dozens of emails with “increasing frequency and hostility.” Those were the words of Shields’ attorney at the time. The emails in question last fall referred to Frankel as old and ugly and warned Shields that she would soon leave him, just as Bethenny supposedly left all the other men in her life. That was bad. But the latest allegation against Hoppy is even worse. According to The New York Post, Hoppy was arrested for stalking Frankel after her allegedly turned up outside the school of the couple’s daughter on Friday and screamed four words at his ex-wife: I WILL DESTROY YOU! The New York Police Department has confirmed the arrest and said it relates to the aforementioned email scandal. After Hoppy sent nearly 50 threatening emails to Shields and Frankel over the span of about three months last year, he was issued a cease-and-desist letter. Those past instances, combined with what happened late last week, gave the police ammunition to charge Hoppy with stalking. Said a NYPD spokeswoman to the newspaper: “On Friday, January 27, the suspect approached [Bethenny] and a friend at her child’s school at around 8:15 a.m. and tried to provoke a fight. “He said, ‘I will destroy you, you can get all the lawyers you want, you’ve been warned.'” The spokeswoman adds that Hoppy denies this account and was placed under arrest on Friday afternoon and charged with harassment in the first degree and stalking in the fourth degree. Hoppy and Frankel are parents to a six-year old named Bryn. They were married for two years prior to getting embroiled in one of the ugliest, most bitter divorce and custody battles on record. The divorce was not even made official until July 2016, at which time it was believed Hoppy was awarded a ton of money in spousal support. “Jason is thrilled that this chapter of his life is over; he is extremely pleased with the settlement that was reached,” an attorney speaking for Frankel’s ex said last summer. In addition to a custody debate, the angry lovers endured conflict over who could live in the Tribeca apartment Bethenny bought in 2001. Unable to decide on ownership themselves, the two actually lived for years under that same roof, despite their public and nasty breakup. Frankel later referred to this arrangement as “brutal” and “horrendous.” “I have cried enough tears to fill the Hudson River,” Frankel said last year of the split “I’d think, how could this go on for so long?
