These days, Meghan Markle is one of the most famous women on the planet — a household name all over the world. But it wasn't all that long ago that the Duchess of Sussex was an actress on a basic cable legal drama, eager to reach the next level of fame and influence. Like just about every young media figure, Meghan had an Instagram account with a sizable following. In keeping with royal standards of decorum, she deleted the page before her relationship with Prince Harry became public knowledge. Jenelle Evans has been in a great big mess for over a month now. Probably the biggest mess of her life, which is saying a lot. Her husband killed her dog, she lost her Teen Mom 2 gig, and CPS removed all of her children from her home. It's been rough. But throughout the whole thing, Jenelle has been uncharacteristically quiet. She's given statements and interviews here and there, but not much, and she hasn't addressed the situation much on social media at all. Until now! 1. During our conversation, Karrueche opened up about people underestimating the show and her. “It was great for people to see me on a new level where I was taken seriously. Before I’ve done independent films and low budget. Which is still great and part of my journey as an actor, but for this from season one to now has been very empowering.” Jenn Lyon who also stars on Claws chimed in to remind us that until now she has always been attached to someone else as someone else’s girlfriend or a social media influencer. “Now she stands on her own,” Jenn said After that, Karrueche opened up about a pivotal turning point in her life and what it took for her to make a name for herself in order to make it on her own. Karrueche says, “It was tough because I hit a moment in my life where literally, I was like WTF am I going to do? What am I going to do? I thought I used to work at a boutique in LA on Robertson, I was a personal assistant, I worked at Nordstrom for 3 or 4 years before that… Am I going to have to go back to retail?” Then she remembered she had a large following on social media and contemplated ways to capitalize off of the notoriety. “I have this platform of a million or so followers at the time, that kind of means something but what can I do? But also what can I also do that last, that has longevity? That means something? That has substance not just fit tea.” Adding “that’s not to shade to people who make their money off that just not me. That’s just not what I want to promote.” Karrueche goes on to explain how she got offered spots on multiple reality shows but turned them down because that’s not what she wanted to do with her life. She decided to take up acting and she admits it wasn’t an easy journey. “It was hard, even when I started my acting career, Jesus Christ it took some time. I went on so many auditions, at one point my agency was like so you haven’t booked anything are you sure this is what you want to do? I was like fuck! This sucks, but it was a real question I had to ask myself and I had this tiny little voice in the back of my head that said don’t give up, don’t give up… So I told my manager that I’m going to stick through this. I’m going to do it. I’m going to continue to just work hard and eventually I made my way but it’s a tough journey.” After hearing she was good but just too green she finally landed Claws after doing some low budget indie films that helped lay the foundation for the success that she’s having now. It’s been nine months since Mac Miller tragically passed away at the age of 26 following a fatal overdose. Though a highly acclaimed musician in his own right, outside of the hip hop community, Miller was likely best known for his relationship with Ariana Grande. Though they had broken up several months prior to his death, Miller’s passing was, by all accounts, a devastating blow for Grande. She’s publicly paid tribute to the late rapper several times, most famously in the lyrics to her hit single ” Thank U, Next .” On Wednesday night, Ariana sang the song live in Mac’s hometown of Pittsburgh. It was her first time doing so, and the performance clearly took quite an emotional toll: Ariana Grande “Breaks Down” Over Mac Miller As you can see in the clip above, Ari got choked up and was unable to complete the line “wish I could say, ‘Thank you’ to Malcolm” (Miller’s real first name). The crowd quickly realized what was happening and cheered in encouragement. Ari’s backup singers filled in until she was unable to continue the song with her inimitable light soprano voice. Fans in attendance say Grande was also overcome with emotion while performing the night’s opening number “Raindrops (An Angel Cried).” An empty seat was reserved for Mac toward the front of the stage and prior to Ariana’s performance, a medley of his greatest hits was pumped through the speakers of the PPG Paint Arena. It makes sense that Mac’s passing would be such a sensitive subject for Grande — but apparently, members of her inner circle have become concerned by her recent displays of emotion. “Of course her family is worried,” a source close to the situation tells Radar Online. “She has so many things on her plate and she has been trying to juggle everything while trying to also have some semblance of a personal life,” the insider adds. “Ariana has been so hot and cold lately and no one knows which version of her they are going to get and right now she is more unpredictable than ever.” Sounds like a difficult time for the beloved pop icon — but given how much she’s been through in the past, we’re sure she’ll make it through. Last year, Brynn scored a massive child support victory over Griffin after claiming his relationship with Jenner helped destroy her relationship and her family. “Griffin had no problem trading Brynn Cameron, his former fiancee and the mother of his two children, for reality television star Kendall Jenner,” reads court documents from February of 2018. We have an update on the very sad death of Mary Duggar. As previously reported, the beloved matriarch of this famous family died on Sunday at her home in Arkansas. She was 78 years old. At the time this tragic news was broken, Duggar’s cause of death was unknown. But People Magazine and Radar Online have now confirmed that the mother of Jim Bob passed away due to an accidental drowning. On Wednesday evening, the latter outlet reported that a 911 call was made on Sunday for a “possible drowning” at Mary’s home in Springdale. The website writes that the call came in at 4:37 p.m. and emergency assistance was requested because a woman was said to be “unconscious” at the scene, based on a recording of this emergency message. This is all the information we have right now, but an investigation has been opened to uncover more of what led to this awful incident. The TLC stars announced the sudden death of their loved on Facebook earlier this week. “We are so sad to share that Grandma Duggar (Mary) passed away Sunday afternoon, June 9th, 2019. Mary Lester Duggar grew up in Farmington, Arkansas and was married almost 50 years to J.L. (Jimmy Lee) Duggar who preceded her in death,” the announcement opened. It continued as follows: “Mary found great joy in sharing her love for Jesus and her own story of how at age 15 she asked Christ to forgive her for her sins. It was at that time she committed the rest of her life to live for Him, a commitment she kept with devotion. “Grandma Mary Duggar has been on the TLC shows, 19 Kids & Counting and Counting On with her family for over 15 years. “She is greatly loved and will be missed so very much! “She lived a tremendous life as a follower of Christ, a wife, a devoted mother, a loving mother-in-law, and a much-loved grandmother.” Since this initial confirmation went public, multiple Duggar family members have also shared their own personal tributes and messages. Sunday, June 9 hosted Ava DuVernay and her brilliant team (Netflix VP Cindy Holland, founder of Tribeca Enterprises Jane Rosenthal, and executive producers Jonathan King and Berry Welsh) behind When They See Us, the four-part Netflix series surrounding the controversial case of the Central Park Five. For anyone who is unfamiliar, five innocent black and brown males (Kevin Richardson, Antron McCray, Raymond Santana Jr., Korey Wise and Yusef Salaam) were unjustly convicted of beating and raping a white woman in Central Park. DuVernay aimed to h During the panel, DuVernay said she was very grateful to be a filmmaker at a time when she can approach Netflix with an idea for four films, and even more so a company that allowed her to fly out Richardson, McCray, Santana Jr., Wise and Salaam to watch all four films together in what was a very emotional moment for everyone involved. “I remember the first frame of the episode came up and my stomach just dropped I said, ‘God please, please… please let them feel like this is right and they were honored here and that their stories were told and their families were depicted in the right way,’” revealed DuVernay. As for the men, they re-lived their entire journey over again. “ Imagine seeing yourself at the moment your whole life changed. The life of your family changed forever 30 years ago. They cried. They wept. The held onto each other. They wailed,” added DuVernay. “ I could see the light on their faces and there are just tears. The fact that there are ppl in prison who are poor and innocent and there are people who are not in prison who are rich and guilty. We’ll talk about judges and juries and district attorneys and prosecutors. The third episode, we will talk about juvenile detention… How we’re locking up children in this country and putting them with adults and walking away in this country and then we will talk about the horrors of incarceration. And folks won’t even know we are talking about this because we are talking about this very famous case.” When They See Us is currently airing on Netflix. In addition, Tomblin, who works in “finance,” has a conviction of felony breaking and entering in May 2013 AND two robbery charges from August 2012.
