Tori Roloff has achieved a major milestone. Being pregnant with her second child ? Nah, whatever. There are literally millions of people pregnant with their second child right now. (JUST KIDDING! We love Tori and her husband, Zach, and we are so so so so so so very happy for them right now.) But the long-time Little People, Big World star accomplished something impressive of late aside from having her egg fertilized by Zach’s sperm: She has garnered over one million Instagram followers! That’s the sort of figure typically reserved for a singer… or an athlete… or a lingerie model… or a Kardashian/Jenner. However, Tori has surpassed it by basically just being a very nice, very normal person with one adorable son. “One. Million. Followers,” Roloff wrote to open her caption to the first photo shared above. She continued: “What in the world? You guys. This is honestly such an honor. It has been such a fun ride sharing just a little part of my life with all of you. “The love and support I have felt from you guys on my journey has been overwhelming and wonderful.” Roloff had previously talked about her goal with social media, writing back in March of 2018 that she wanted to be a positive influence on this platform. “I am just a normal woman,” Tori wrote back then, adding: “There’s nothing extraordinary about me. I live my life the way i believe God wants me to and I just try to be a good person. We all know how much Paris Jackson hates fake news about her life, so we hope that she’ll appreciate coverage of her own words. Some bizarre non-fan tried to shame Paris for using marijuana, of all things, claiming that her late father would be “ashamed” of her. Paris hit back, not with fury, but with education. This all started when the stunning model tweeted about her creative food choices. “i make spaghetti grilled cheese sandwiches with mozerella,” Paris Jackson tweeted. “BOMB!” Fans marveled at the idea of that, and some asked how she had come up with such an inventive dish. Paris replied: “m a r i j u a n a.” Yeah, that 100% fits. A bizarre social media account that’s a hodgepodge of positive posts and negative attacks took issue with Paris’ offhand reply. “Druggie,” the hater accused. “I bet you do meth too.” “Your dad must be ashamed of you,” the hateful troll wrote, then labeling Paris a “Degenerate.” Paris hit back against that vicious attack. “Because an organic medicinal plant from mother earth with dozens of healing properties that is legal where i live,” Paris began. She continued: “and used to help suffering people around the world = meth.” Marijuana has numerous medicinal properties, is finally legal in numerous states, and is very nearly the opposite of meth. Paris followed up, writing that she uses marijuana “instead of taking poisonous addictive pharmaceuticals.” “This incredible medicine from the earth has been prescribed to me,” Paris wrote. She says that its purpose is “to help with my depression, anxiety, ptsd, and insomnia.” Those are three classic uses for marijuana, both rpescribed medical marijuana and that used as self-medication in places where it is still prohibited. Strangely, the nasty troll who attacked Paris showed, in subsequent tweets, a knowledge of her past mental health struggles. You would think that such a person would be perfectly aware that this medication can help her stay healthy and alive. We think that this troll was just looking for negative attention by spewing hateful attacks — this person also hurled vitriol at the LGBTQ+ community. The only really surprising part of this person’s attacks was their apparent unawareness that Paris uses marijuana. It’s … not new information. That said, like most people who spend their time attacking innocent strangers on the internet, this person likely has personal or even mental issues beyond their control. Paris also shot down people’s suspicions that her late father would disapprove. “He actually didn’t have a problem with [cannabis use],” Paris informed one follower. “I didn’t [use cannabis] when I was younger obvs,” she noted. “But I really doubt he would have a problem with me doing it now.” Paris added: “especially as an adult,” reminding people that she’s not a child anymore. “A very good doctor prescribed it to me,” Paris shared. “And it has helped me with my mental issues a lot, including helping me find peace.” That is wonderful news! “Well, doing it every day, dude, is clearly an issue,” she told another Twitter user, who suspected that she was a wake and bake smoker. “I don’t do it as soon as I wake up unless it’s a rare occasion.” Paris clarified. “I don’t do it when I work,” she explained. “And I don’t do it when I drive.” “It’s medicine to me and not an everyday thing,” Paris emphasized. “Even though it’s not addictive, it sounds like u were abusing it.” It really sounds like she has a good head on her shoulders, despite the hate that she so often receives.
“Nasty” is one of Donald Trump’s favorite insults. And since dude loves his put-downs more than he loves his children, that’s really saying something. His romance with the term famously began when he referred to Hillary Clinton as a “nasty woman” during those presidential debates that were funny at the time because no one thought he had a shot in hell of actually winning. Trump trotted out that beloved jibe again this week when he responded to reports that Meghan Markle was aware of his obvious misogyny by saying, ” I didn’t know she was nasty .” That’s an acceptable remark if you just watched a 1986 Janet Jackson video, but it’s weird and offensive in literally every other context. So it should come as no surprise that Meghan has not been on hand for any portion of Trump’s official state visit to the UK. And just in case he still didn’t get the message, Prince Harry reportedly snubbed Trump during a private lunch with the Queen on Tuesday. Now, we’re probably not gonna carpet bomb London over this, but it’s still a pretty big deal. After all, every president since Harry S. Truman has visited the UK, and our friends across the pond have never been forced to endure such awkwardness before. When you’ve been out-charmed by Richard f–king Nixon, you know there’s a serious problem. In an effort to smooth over relations, Trump sat down with the British media’s most famous set of quivering jowls, Piers Morgan: “They said some of the things that she said and it’s actually on tape,” he told Morgan with regard to Meghan’s comments. “And I said: ‘Well, I didn’t know she was nasty.’ I wasn’t referring to she’s nasty. I said she was nasty about me. And essentially I didn’t know she was nasty about me.” Yes, the Donald is in damage control mode, and he’s engaging in some serious back-pedaling. Trump added that Meghan is “doing a good job” and he continued to offer up awkward attempts at flattery as only he can (dude is so much better at insults): “I hope she enjoys her life,” he added. “I think she’s very nice.” Coming from a guy who seems to have never enjoyed a single day of his life despite getting literally everything he wants, we guess that means a lot. Of course, that’s not the only asinine drivel that spewed forth from our president’s mouth during his chat with the UK’s equivalent of Rush Limbaugh’s colon polyps. Asked about the draft dodging that allowed him to escape Vietnam service, Trump remarked, “I think I make up for it now.” He also suggested that transgender US troops might be hatching an elaborate plan to force the military into paying for their reassignment surgeries. But that’s just the sort of reactionary bigoted nonsense we’ve sadly grown accustomed to at this point. Such a nasty president. Some Background Info To understand all that happened yesterday, you need to know a couple of things, and one of them is that Jenelle has a very, VERY troubled history with her mother, Barbara. 2. The History Jenelle and Barbara’s problems go all the way back to when she was a child — she’s said that she never felt like her mother offered her the love and care she needed, and their relationship only got worse after Jenelle signed over custody of her youngest son, Jace, when he was an infant. 3. So Many Troubles Barbara has taken good care of Jace, and she does have full, permanent custody of him now, but there were several years there where we saw Jenelle scream and cry and pretty much despise her mom for not just handing the kid back over, even though she was seriously troubled for a long time — she was getting arrested all the time, in and out of abusive relationships, and dealing with drug problems. 4. Ouch Since there was so much animosity over Barbara having custody of Jace, it must really be difficult for Jenelle to see her get custody of Ensley, too. 5. Of Course That’s the other thing you need to know — that Barbara currently has custody of Ensley after CPS removed all the kids from Jenelle’s home following David’s brutal killing of the family’s French bulldog, Nugget. 6. Let’s Go So that’s where we are now: Jenelle and David don’t have custody of any of their kids, they’ve been having to go to court weekly to keep up with everything and have their supervised visits, and their golden child, Ensley, is with one of their worst enemies at the moment, Barbara. Dance Moms fans are overjoyed that Abby Lee Miller is cancer free at last. Now, Miller is back on Dance Moms , making her triumphant return in an emotional Lifetime special. But she admits that she had a lot of doubt and fear during her cancer battle. At one point, she reveals, she wanted to die . On Tuesday night, Lifetime aired a powerful documentary, Dance Moms: The Return of Abby . The title may make Abby Lee Miller sound like monster in a chilling horror franchise, but the only person being terrorized at first was Abby. Speaking frankly of how she felt during her hospitalization with Burkitt lyphoma, Abby revealed: “I wanted to die. I did.” “And if I lose dance, there is no point in being here,” she expressed. “I felt like I lost my purpose,” Abby admitted. “And I needed to find it.” “I don’t know what I am going to do,” Abby lamented. She was upset about her cancer diagnosis, but nothing short of dismayed when she learned that she would have to undergo chemotherapy. Chemo is an agonizing, miserable process — and at times, she wasn’t sure if it was worth it. “I’m not going to keep doing the cancer treatment if I can’t walk,” Abby at one point announced. That is heartbreaking. Then, the Lifetime special follows her as she returns to the studio. “I have had a miserable year,” Abby admits. “It almost killed me.” But it’s clear that, by this point, her attitude has greatly improved. “I will teach again,” she half-vows, half-threatens. “I will create a winning team again.” “And,” she adds. “I hope and pray that I will walk again.” Sure enough, we see Abby keeping her promise — teaching again. “You have to fight to win,” she instructs them. “People have talked crap about me for the last two years,” Abby notes. Try eight years — that’s how long she’s been famous. “Well I’m back,” Abby says. “And my students are going to be champions.” “I am definitely a fighter and this is the fight of my life,” Abby acknowledges. “I’m proud,” she expresses. “I’m grateful that I survived this year.” People have a lot of opinions about Abby Lee Miller, but we’re definitely glad that she didn’t die of cancer. “And I am ready to move on,” Abby announces. She adds that she wants to “get back in the studio, do what I love to do.” “The audience is going to think I’ve mellowed,” Abby predicts, adding: “maybe I just don’t care enough.” “It might not be mellow,” she suggests. Abby offers: “it might just be ‘Eh. You’re not that talented, kiddo, move over.'” How charming. “I’m very detail-oriented,” she notes. “I’m the same. But by early afternoon, mother and daughter are reunited at Kylie’s offices. “It’s hard to manage mom life and work life sometimes,” she tells the camera. “So that’s why I made her a bedroom here so she can be with me and still have fun.” Up at 6, a full day of meetings, and chasing a 1-year-old around all day? Surely, Kylie must be tuckered out and ready for bed immediately after dinner, right? Ha! You don’t get to be a 21-year-old billionaire by logging 8 hours of shut-eye a night. Obviously, Jenner enjoys a lot of advantages that most working moms can only dream of, but she still deserves props for cramming such an insane amount of productive activity into a single day. God, people suck sometimes. This statement could really be applied to any number of situations, but we’re choosing to focus for the moment on a recent incident that involved Miley Cyrus… … as well as the social media response to said incident. First, what transpired: Following a performance in Barcelona this week, Miley was making her way through a crowd when an overzealous fan lept out, kissed Cyrus, grabbed Cyrus and crossed pretty much very line in interacting with her. The inappropriate interaction went viral, both in the United States and abroad. She can be a virgin. She can be sleeping with 5 different people. She can be with her husband. She can be with her girlfriend. She can be naked. She CAN’T be grabbed without her consent. #DontFuckWithMyFreedom. This seems rather obvious, right? What a woman wears and/or how a woman chooses to act does not mean that she ever deserves to be touched or fondled without her consent. Somehow, though, this seemingly obvious statement is not obvious to many dumb social media users out there. As you can see above, there’s a contingent of individuals who think that Cyrus can’t complain about some stranger groping her body simply because she has worn some risque outfits on stage. “What do they expect when they dress like whores,” someone named Maryann Martin actually wrote on Twitter. Thankfully, Cyrus put critics such as this directly in their place by clapping back in response: Don’t fuck with my freedom. #stillnotaskingforit. It’s sad that Cyrus even has to say this, but let’s just hope those insensitive and ignorant trolls have now received her message — loud and clear. Cyrus released her new EP, She Is Coming, last week, and stars in the latest episode of the Netflix series Black Mirror, which launches today. She’s been in the news of late for both of these projects … … and also for throwing her support behind abortion rights, recently announcing a charity fashion project involving her, designer Marc Jacobs, LGBT and homelessness charity Happy Hippie foundation, along Planned Parenthood. The artist launched and then promoted the initiative by posting an image of herself eating a cake featuring the words “Abortion is healthcare.” She’s also selling sweatshirts for this cause that feature her topless torso, nipples only covered by a piece of fruit: Too lewd? Too naked? Too… weird? You’re very welcome to think all of these things. You just aren’t welcome to lay your hands on Miley without her consent. Not ever.
