Wendy Williams is finally, finally divorcing her cheating husband, Kevin Hunter, who wants alimony for life . The same guy who’s been riding her coattails for years wants to continue living a life of leisure at Wendy’s expense. Just how much is Wendy’s net worth, anyway? Wendy Williams put a lot of work into her career. She studied journalism and communications at Boston’s Northeastern University, graduating with a degree in 1986. Wendy then got her start in professional radio broadcasting on a Virgin Islands radio station called St. Coix’s WVIS. Six months later, the New Jersey native relocated to New York, where she landed a job at WBLC. There, Wendy created her own segment, The Wendy Williams Experience . Her autobiographical radio segment was outrageously popular, at times bringing in as many as 12 million listeners. At the time, she was mostly just discussing her personal life. She was about 20 years into her broadcasting career when she branched out into print media with her book, Wendy’s Got Heat . Since the success of that book, she has penned a number of others. It was not until 2008 that Wendy made the leap from radio to television. So what has all of that success brought her? That is a sizable, eight-figure fortune. That didn’t sit right with their young adult son — which led to a physical fight between father and son. Just over a week ago, Kevin Hunter allegedly attacked his son in a parking lot while they were out shopping together. According to reports, he is said to have put 19-year-old Kevin Hunter Jr into a headlock. In order to free himself, Wendy’s son punched his father in the face — and was then arrested by police. (In domestic violence situations when family have been fighting, it is often the policy to arrest whichever party appears to have done the most damage) The reason for their fight that led to Kevin Hunter Jr’s heroic action was that he had confronted his dad about demanding alimony payments. Kevin then accused his son of having been brainwashed by his mother. For the record, a teenager doesn’t need to be under hypnosis in order to see the dynamic between his parents for what it is. One party ruined his marriage by cheating but still wants to keep all of the benefits of being married to a successful entertainer. Unless … has Wendy brainwashed us , too? That would certainly explaining why we can’t help but side with her in this divorce. Look, Jenelle Evans isn’t exactly in the best place she’s ever been right now. In fact, this may be the lowest point ever for her. Which is really saying something, considering she got pregnant as a teenager with a guy that quickly left her, then lost custody of her baby, then went on to get arrested like a dozen times and also to develop a heroin addiction. Jenelle’s definitely seen some bad times, but somehow, what’s going on now seems way, way worse than anything she’s faced before. Earlier this month, CPS removed all the children from the home she shares with David Eason after that jackass swamp monster killed her dog. Kaiser went to Nathan, Maryssa went to her grandmother, and Ensley ended up with Barbara. Just for good measure, CPS also made sure Barbara knew to keep Jace home from any scheduled visits with Jenelle. Obviously Jenelle and David weren’t crazy about all of that, so they immediately went to court to get their kids back. After two weeks and four separate court dates, the judge finally decided this week that no, they would not be getting their kids back . Not for now, anyway. The children’s current guardians now officially have temporary custody, and there’s reportedly another court date next week to figure out what will be required of Jenelle and David to be reunited with their kids. Some reports say that they’ll need to go to parenting classes and therapy and that they’ll also have to pass weekly drug tests, others say that nothing has been decided yet. Either way, they’ll definitely have to put in some serious work to prove that they can provide a good home for their kids, and it will likely be months, at least, before they can even hope to get them back. It’s a lot to take in, right? Yesterday, we got Jenelle’s first official statement after losing custody — she said that she’s been doing what her lawyer has asked, and that “I don’t want to speak publicly on the matter currently as that will jeopardize the possibilities of getting my kids back.” “I love my kids so much and I will do anything necessary to get them back and that is all I want everyone to understand,” she continued. “I ask everyone to have an open heart before they judge how the media is portraying me.” She finished her statement with “I love being a mother and David and I will get through this. We are staying strong and united.” And now, at long last, Farrah Abraham is making her statement about Jenelle and David losing custody. Hasn’t that been all anyone’s been waiting for? Farrah gave her statement to Hollywood Life, and she kicked it off with “After losing their kids — and now, they need to take parenting classes, drug tests and therapist — I would say all the moms on Teen Mom need to take parenting courses and all of the above.” Yeah, hope you were hungry, because Farrah brought her famous word salad to the party. “It’s sad for Jenelle,” Farrah said. “She chooses fame and attention before her kids.” “No more crying police calls, recording a man treating you bad — she needs to learn to value herself.” “I feel bad for how broken she is,” she concluded. Is it just us, or does that last part of Farrah’s statement make perfect sense? Because Jenelle does need to learn to value herself — maybe then she could find the strength to leave David and get her kids back. Unfortunately, she has already established a pattern for this sort of thing. Jenelle has always been with abusive men, and after she signed over custody of Jace to her mother when he was just an infant, she focused on those men instead of getting herself in a position to get her son back. She lived through those legendary Keiffer days, got engaged to Gary, got married to Courtland, got with Nathan and had Kaiser, then got with David and had Ensley … all while speaking in vague terms about getting Jace. For several years she didn’t even try to do anything with the custody situation, and years later when she finally had the chance to fight for him, she agreed that Barbara should have full, permanent custody . Is that what’s going to happen again? Will she and David be unable to get themselves together long enough to meet the judge’s requirements for reunification until the judge just decides the kids are stable where they are and shouldn’t be moved again? Will she spend the next several years trying to make everyone else into the villains who are stealing her children when really she’ll only have herself to blame? Lamar Odom has been in rare form lately. Actually, he probably behaves like this quite often, but we don’t know about it because the world collectively decided to stop paying attention to Lamar sometime around 2016. Anyway, Lamar has a new memoir out, and in order to promote it, he’s dredging up the past and airing his dirty laundry like never before. Lamar’s revelations started out bonkers and got even more batsh-t with time. He started off by telling the world that he slept with over 2,000 women , many of them while he was married to Khloe Kardashian. From there, things got progressively more insane, as Odom revealed that he threatened to kill Khloe on at least one occasion. As you can imagine, Khloe is somewhat less than thrilled with being forced to relive her abusive relationship publicly. But despite the fact that he must know this whole experience is extremely painful for his ex, Lamar persists in blathering about Khloe. The worst part is that he seems to be doing it purely exploitative reasons, essentially mining his disastrous marriage for promotional material. Actually, on second thought, the worst part might be that Lamar is still envisioning a future in which he gets back together with Khloe . Asked about his pie-in-the-sky fantasies of reconciliation during a recent interview with Us Weekly, Lamar revealed that he’s “still open” to the possibility of giving his marriage a second chance … as though ending it was his idea. “As far as I’m concerned, but that’s a better question for her,” he elaborated, clearly sending the message that he’s just waiting for her to give the go-ahead. Yes, Lamar certainly knows how to win back a mistreated ex — further traumatize her by forcing her to publicly relive the worst parts of the relationship! The last time KhloMar spent any real time together is when Odom suffered an overdose that nearly claimed his life. When Us asked Lamar what message he would like to send to Khloe about how he’s changed since those dark days, he offered up a bunch of meaningless platitudes: “I’m just a different man now,” he told the tabloid. “You know what’s so crazy that you say that because I remember when I came out of the coma [in 2015 after a drug overdose], and I moved in the house in Calabasas in the same housing community that she lives in.” “Because I was still damn near fried or just basically getting over being fried, I didn’t even know how to show her that I was empathetic, you know what I’m saying, and sorry and that I still loved her,” Odom continued. “I didn’t know how to go about it.” We’d say it’s pretty clear he still doesn’t know how to go about expressing empathy. The past 18 months have seen a lot of shakeups in the Teen Mom franchise. It all started when Farrah Abraham got fired from Teen Mom OG back in December of 2017. Though no one could ever hope to fill Farrah’s shoes in terms of batsh-t drama, MTV tried by hiring Bristol Palin and Cheyenne Floyd . Floyd turned out to be a good fit for the cast — Bristol, not so much. The daughter of former Alaska governor Sarah Palin quit the show after just one season, claiming that the life of a reality star was simply not for her. (Bristol has appeared on numerous other reality shows, including two that were based entirely on her life and were quickly canceled, so she probably just didn’t enjoy appearing on this particular series, but whatever …) In a recent interview with Us Weekly the remaining OG cast (the OGs of OG, if you will) were asked for their thoughts on the possibility of MTV hiring a replacement for Bristol. Not surprisingly, the ladies were less than thrilled with the prospect of sharing screen time with another newcomer, thus rendering them more inessential to the series’ future: “No, we’re good,” Amber Portwood told the tabloid. “No new friends,” echoed Maci Bookout. “No, I’m good with just four,” Catelynn Lowell added. Like we said, the responses are not surprising — but they’re more than a little misguided. It appears this is a case of employees mistakenly believing they’re management. You see, Bristol was added to the cast — and paid more than the rest of the moms — for very good reason: Teen Mom OG ratings have been plummetting for years, and they took a sharp nosedive after Farrah got fired. Love her or hate her, Ms. Abraham’s insanity made her a reliable ratings magnet — something the show is sorely lacking these days. The current cast might like things the way they are — but surely they’d prefer keeping their jobs over joining Farrah on the unemployment line. As for her own experience on the show, Floyd said that after a rocky start, she feels she’s been fully embraced by the Teen Mom community: “I don’t think people thought that we would mesh so well, but I think we all went in and we’re [thinking], ‘No judgment, open minds, let’s get to know each other in a real organic way.’” Cheyenne told Us. “I feel like we’ve done that.” Sounds like Cheyenne is well aware that there’s bound to be a lot of ups and downs living in the public eye in 2019 — but ultimately her cushy job and six-figure paycheck make it all worthwhile. In his new memoir, Lamar Odom admits to cheating on Khloe Kardashian a lot and even threatening to kill her on at least one occasion . And yet… … in a new interview to promote said memoir, Odom says he and his ex-wife still get along pretty well and aren’t merely in touch — but were very recently just in touch. Speaking with Jenny McCarthy on her SiriusXM show on Wednesday, Odom revealed his Kardashian texted him just the day before, not long after the memoir’s release. “Um, she sent me a text yesterday,” Odom told McCarthy after he was asked if he knew how Khloe felt about the book. He continued in this response: “She good, she talked about one of the stories I told in the book. About her coming to the hotel and putting her hands on the girl. She said she didn’t even think I remembered that story.” Really?!? Khloe thought Lamar would forget about the time that she arrived at his hotel room and caught him cheating with a stripper and she nearly strangled the poor girl to death ? Someone would need to be really high or f-cked up in some way to forget that this happened and… … oh, right, nevermind. Odom has been on a whirlwind press tour over the past several days, talking up the biography “Darkness to Light,” which documents in many years of infidelity and drug use. In one of his craziest statements, Odom even claimed that he never overdosed in Nevada… but rather that a hit was put on his life and that’s why he ended up in the hospital. Bizarre. Lamar says his most recent exchange with Khloe was “friendly,” despite many of the things he wrote about their relationship in his book. For example, Odom claimed he “had broken my vows with Khloe so many times” before Kardashian started checking his Black Card statements. One night, he said she tracked his movements to the Hotel Roosevelt in Hollywood, where he was shacked up with two strippers and quite a few drugs. Around midnight, he writes, there was a “pounding” at the door — and on the other side was Khloe, Kris Jenner and their security team. “Khloe opened the door and pounced on the first girl she saw,” says Lamar. Whoa there! “Try to imagine the scene: Khloe’s beating the shit out of one of the girls who tried to protest. She’s dropping vicious blows all over the top of this girl’s head,” he claims, and then he elaborates: “Kris is screaming and her security guard jumps in and pulls Khloe off the beaten stripper. While we’ve known him for his athletic ability, his celebrity marriage to Khloe Kardashian , and the subsequent drug use which almost resulted in death, Odom shared that prior to taking vows with Khloe, he was once head over heels for Empire actress Taraji P. Should the Roloffs sell their farm? This has been the main question permeating Little People, Big World this season and it stirred up a bunch of tension between loved ones. On Tuesday night’s installment of the TLC hit, however, the in-fighting stopped for a bit because one member of this famous family faced a question not about the property’s future… … but about his own. “I’ve been having a lot of pain in my back and my legs,” Zach told the cameras early on, explaining what was happening: “There’s like a tightness to my thighs, there’s a weakness in my knees. Something’s not going right.” Yikes. That definitely does not sound right. Considering all the activity surrounding pumpkin season on the farm – as well as playing and coaching soccer and being the father of a energetic toddler – Zach wasn’t certain what could have triggered his symptoms. One second he felt fine, the next second he was actually “paralyzed for a minute,” to use his own frightening words. Watch Little People, Big World Season 14 Episode 9 Online Afraid mostly for his own safety, but also for what might happen if he was holding young son Jackson when such a symptom kicked in, Zach made an appointment to see a doctor. He got an MRI there. “It’s scary, because I can’t help him, and it’s also like we don’t know what’s causing the issue,” wife Tori Roloff confessed. Unfortunately, upon getting the results back from this big test, Zach and Tori were stunned to learn that his prognosis wasn’t very positive: Zach has been diagnosed with multilevel degenerative disc disease causing spinal stenosis. “It’s a common thing with people with achondroplasia,” Zach explained of the condition. “But average-sized people only get it when they’re like 60.” Zach is only 29. As a dwarf, his life expectancy is not very different from that of an average-sized individual; he just needs to face health issues such as this along the way. (For the record, Jackson is also a dwarf and Tori recently said the odds of their second child being a dwarf is about 50/50.) With bulging and degenerating discs in his spine pinching the nerves, Zach would need to see a spinal specialist to determine whether he would have to undergo surgery now or later. Either way, though, it’s inevitable. Something must be done to fix his spinal chord. Discovering that he would almost certainly have to undergo major surgery, Zach admitted he was “in denial,” adding: “Two months, three months ago, I was in a soccer tournament, and now I have arthritis in my back? What’s going on here?” Tori was equally freaked out, telling the camera in a confessional: “I am scared. That’s the worst case scenario in my head for him to have surgery. I’m trying really hard not to panic.” We feel awful for Zach. After all this debate about the farm and what to do about it, such a defelopment really puts things into perspective, doesn’t it? Yes, whether to sell the farm and move on is a big deal for Amy and Matt Roloff — but it’s nothing at all when compared to the well-being of their child. Over the weekend, vengeful former mother-in-law Debbie Johnson gleefully claimed that Larissa Lima will be deported in the near future. But Larissa clapped back, insisting that this isn’t true. And then, on Tuesday, the 90 Day Fiance star shared a stunning piece of evidence that Debbie’s prediction was nothing but hot air. Take a look: Over the weekend, a fan asked Colt Johnson on Instagram why Larissa had not been banished to Brazil yet. Strangely, instead of responding himself, it was Debbie’s mother who answered the comment. “Everything takes time,” Debbie wrote. “There is still a domestic violence hearing next week,” she noted. “And, after that, she will be deported,” Debbie predicted. “It just takes time.” Though the post was soon taken down, 90 Day Fiance blogger John Yates shared a screencap of Debbie’s claim. Larissa, too, saw Debbie’s claim — and a host of concerned messages. “I woke up this morning to find messages sent to me and posted about my legal status in the U.S.” Larissa wrote on Instagram. “This isn’t true,” she revealed. Larissa affirmed that “Everything about my status in the U.S. is confidential.” “And,” she added. “Will not be disclosed by third parties on social media that [are] not involved in any immigration process with me.” “Some of the most popular online press outlets are reporting these false statements,” Larissa observed. Notably, it was a newsworthy topic. And it’s appropriate to report one reality star’s claims about another, so long as they’re presented as claims , not facts. But Larissa felt hurt, writing: “And it has worried my family and fans.” It sounds like she also received some nasty, hateful messages, gloating over her allegedly upcoming deportation. “Everything I have received in these messages has been screenshotted and forwarded to be reviewed,” Larissa warned. “I truly respect my agreement that was signed by a judge,” Larissa expresses. “And,” she reminds her fans and followers. “I have been following it since day one.” She and Coltee are not allowed to disparage each other. For these two, that means that they’re basically not allowed to mention each other. “The lawful agreement also includes no third party defamation,” Larissa notes. “And that,” she explains. “Is the reason I do not want to talk or answer questions about my past.” “I have been trying to live my life and allow the courts to handle everything,” Larissa shares. “As it is in their hands.” “As many of you know,” she reminds her fans. “My court date is May 30th.” That is this Thursday. “It is the last and saddest chapter of my life,” Larissa notes. “And,” she emphasizes. “I want to finish it as soon as possible to finally have peace.” ‘I will not accept defamation of any kind,” Larissa declares. She then explains why she does not answer all questions or allow herself to get dragged into every single feud. “My Instagram is how I connect with fans,” she concludes. But that’s not all. On Tuesday morning, she took to Instagram to ask fans to wish her luck, as she had a very important “appointment” that day. On Tuesday afternoon, Larissa then updated her Instagram Story. Standing outside an office of US Citizenship and Immigration Services, Larissa holds a conspicuous manila folder and smiles. “Feeling positive,” she wrote.
